Everyone awakes at the call from Robin, and the sudden bustle of the guards who. You all awake to see an army of armored undead marching through an invisible portal. Everyone role initiative, those with a Perception Check of less than 12 roll Initiative with Disadvantage.
Robin, frowning as the undead stride forth, lifts her hand and casts a spell... Evard’s Black Tentacles
Dex save is 17.
She then yells loudly... "Wake the camp! Enemies incoming!" She directs her owl to start waking those not already awake.
You get the sense these creatures are not very dexterous as many get caught in the tendrils of tentacles. As the force grows to a few dozen, only seven are able to dodge the spell.
(ooc: are you going to play with "theatre of mind" or are you going to post a kind of map?
how many skeletons do we see? Apart from the one melee with Robin, how far/close are the others?
I have seen in other threads that DM postig the initiative order is very useful, just not to ask everytime WHOSE TURN IS? WHO IS UP? ETC. Could you post it please?)

(OOC: Map will be shown shortly, until then theater of the mind will do. I'm having trouble with my usual map tools. I can certainly post initiative.)
You see a few dozen. Hard to count while they're bundled together, especially now, as you walk up you see a vast quantity of them have been entrapped in a tangled mesh of tentacles. It seems seven have been able to avoid the trap.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Albert gets up and the first thing he does is to get hold of his beloved halberd.
Then he looks (he can actually see in the dark because of the belt of the dwarvenkind) at the new battlefield.
He is not sure what is happening but he is pretty sure one of his new companions entangled some skeletons.
Since he hopes his companions are as expert as him and they can stand the ground for some time, he runs to attack the skeleton closest to the cart and the horses (or, if the cart is behind us, he attack the skeleton that might be running towards the cart... if none of this makes sense, he simply attacks the closest foe, that should be the one who attacked Robin)
BONUS ACTION: ENTERING RAGE: RAGE 1/10 TURNS
MOVE ACTION: ENTERING IN MELEE
ACTION: TWO ATTACKS WITH RECKLESS ATTACK AND GREAT WEAPON MASTER FEAT (if the first would kill the first skeleton, I hope there is second skeleton nearby to hit)
Attack: 26 Damage: 28
Attack: 21 Damage: 23
NOTE: For all the companions: Albert has the wolf totem: it means that all the companions has advantage vs any foe within 5 feet from me
NOTE FOR DM: all attacks vs me from foes must be done with advantage (because of reckless attack)
(OOC: Rakim wouldn't sleep in his armor, although I doubt the difference between 12AC and 14AC is going to make the difference in the fight.)
“The mark of a successful DM is when you have caused more player deaths with doors than dragons, demons, or devils.”
Thanks for the reminder. I will let you know if and when it activates.
Anyone who is asleep may roll a Perception Check. Albert do so with a -2 penalty due to driving.
Perception: 2
(OOC: Hah! That's fitting given that his drake is narcoleptic.)

Initiative: 9 / 20 - If the nat1 counts as a fail, then use first roll, if not use higher due to advantage on roll from dagger of warning
Edit: Hahah, well at least it isn't hard to work out my initiative :)

Robin would use her movement to step back fromt he undead, as long as no attacks of opportunity are caused by this.
Damage would be 13 bashing, so not sure if that needs to be doubled as skeletons tend to be vulnerable to that type of damage.
