Cosette was lost in a moment of admiration of the architecture and design of vestibule, specifically the way the light casting through the glass. The moment Raqisat brings her attention to the broken statue she'd get a chill through her spine. "Yer right, she isn't original decor..." Something pricked at her, a thought so brief in passing. Was she even crafted by a human hand?
(Rolled an int check in log to see if she thinks anything of concern to not move forward. With an 8, Cos thinks nothing more than that prior to stepping into the hallway with others.) (Wis ST: 11)
The party enters the gloomy halls of the House of Glass and Mirrors.
Leelan:
Past the foyer with the broken statue, the hall narrows a touch and the ceiling lowers to standard height. Every 60' down the hall, doors sit on opposite sides. They are heavy wooden doors with brass handles, with small square windows set up higher than you can reach. Between the doors, lanterns are set at regular intervals, providing flickering light up and down the long hall.
At about the mid-point in the hallway, several hundred feet from your current position, you can see the hall intersects with another hallway. Beyond that, the regular doors continue.

Leelan comments about what he’s able to perceive down the hallway.
"The hallway has pairs of large wooden doors at regular intervals. I see flickering torchlight as well, which, unless they are magical in nature, means that they were lit fairly recently, which I find concerning. There’s also a intersection with another hallway about halfway down. How should we proceed?"

Leelan:
As you narrate your surroundings, the rest of the party lingers beside you, just inside the entryway. They all look awake and aware, but they have all come to a hard stop. They are occasionally looking at the walls or lights, but otherwise have ceased forward progress. They almost look as if they are waiting in queue at a bake shop or for a hair appointment.
Their affect is passive, and unthreatened.
None of them react to your description of the hall, or your question as to how to proceed.

The party enters the gloomy halls of the House of Glass and Mirrors.
Leelan:
Having cast your spell, your senses are momentarily overwhelmed by the sheer amount of magic coursing through the air around you. It is as though you are walking through a miasma of Illusion magic, filling the air like fog. It is unlike any spell you've ever seen... indeed it is raw and ill-defined, as though someone spilled a container of Illusion and it has soaked into this space. Looking at your allies, it appears all of them have bathed in the miasma, shimmers of illusion magic dripping from their eyes like tears.
While certainly the most noticeable, this is not the only magic you detect.
The torches on the walls flicker with weak Evocation magic, clearly not real flames at all, if there had been any doubt.
From under some of the closed doors in the hall, you see the shimmer of more Illusion magic. It isn't the raw, wild Illusion you see out in the hall... it seems more like an active Illusion spell of effect might be underway beyond those doors.
Looking at the broken statue in the entryway, you see the smokey traces of Transmutation magic. This magic also seems unusual. Not in the same way as the Illusion magic in the halls... rather, this Transmutation magic has an alien feel to it. For some reason, it reminds you a little of the inky voids you have seen Aubrey summon. It feels like magic from somewhere... else.

The gnome will approach the broken statue and attempt to understand what it is about it that feels so alien, cross-referencing his own notes about aberrations if necessary.
The party enters the gloomy halls of the House of Glass and Mirrors.
Leelan:
While you settle into a thorough investigation, your allies continue to stand patiently in the entryway.
You puzzle over the statue for sometime, rearranging the pieces to assess its design prior to its breaking. Eventually, you come to the conclusion that this statue could never have stood on its own... the elf subject was mid stride, with one foot off the ground. Without an anchored base, the statue was always destined to topple over and shatter.
With the clues available (statue out of place; unusual posture; aura of transmutation magic) you come to the only conclusion available... this was a person, transfigured via some kind of Breach or aberration's magic, into stone. And then, sadly, toppled and dashed to pieces on the ground, preventing even the offchance hope of restoration back to living flesh.
There's something else about the statue that bothers you, but you can't put your finger on it... after agonizing over it for quite a while, you have to concede that it just isn't going to come to you.

Not foolish enough to wander deeper inside this odd place on his own, Leelan will turn around and try to walk out of the House of Glass and Mirrors. Perhaps he can then catch the attention of his companions and tell them of what happened whilst he was inside.

As the young noble quickly realizes he had succumbed to some mind affecting magic he is both relieved, giving the erudite gnome a very grateful smile, and disturbed by having lost control. "Leelan, what happened?"Aubrey says as he gives Grugga and Raqisat a slap each to get them out of whatever they are in. He also tries to make contact with Furvus to see what his familiar has to say for itself.
Aubrey, Furvus isn't responding to your telepathic commands. You don't get the impression that it has been destroyed - you can still feel your connection to it - but it is not communicating with you.
As for Gruggaand Raqisat, they don't respond to your attempts to reach them, even with aggressive slapping about the face and neck. They remain passive and compliant, however, and they could be pushed or dragged somewhere safer than just standing in the middle of the hallway.
