Lia’s wings fade and the glow in her eyes disappears before Stena is revived. And with them, so too fades the last of her strength…
She moves, heavily to the railing at the side of the boat, holds on with both hands, lets her head droop, and just breathes in and out, welcoming the fresh air but utterly exhausted.
She hears some talk of losing two of their group, but this barely registers in her mind. She’s vaguely aware of a shadow in the noises aboard the boat, a gap in the natural rhythm of things: players missing in the overall orchestra of the party…
She hears the name Ranador. Slowly she stands up straight and turns back, looking all over the deck of the boat. Not seeing the drow boy, her gaze settles vaguely in the direction of Stena. Too weary to call out but looking as if she might want to.
Plibble bows his head at Stena, responding in Undercommon, pointing at one point towards Galingal, but ending his statement with a shake of his head.
"Plibble didn't see the boy, only dark, until the darkmantle left. Grabbed Mister Elf, and dunked him to get it off, but he wasn't breathing. Plibble gave him Breath of Life! Plibble saved, but does not want to claim Mister Elf as slave."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Galingal shakes his head.
"Didn't see anything until that one was on top of me," Galingal says, indicating Plibble.
He casts his eyes back the way towards where the darkmantle ambush was, looking to see if there were any side passages they missed in the fight, if they're still close enough to see.
Plibble gives Galingal a fishy grin and a pair of finned thumbs up.
The boat has moved on past much of that, but the cavern prior to the spider wasn't too far back, and while you had collectively confirmed there was no water route forward, a traversable tunnel on foot hadn't been first in mind. It's possible there was something back there.

Galingal digs the pole into the side of the tunnel or the bottom to bring the 'boat' to a halt.
"If he take tunnel, it must be faster than using boat," Galingal muses. "Worth going back. But need clear way of those creatures if they're still there."
He looks over at Lia.
"Can you clear path with light or sound when we get there?"
Neth gathers his supplies, and rummages through the cabin of the boat until he finds the small brass bowl he remembered seeing in passing. He finds the most secluded spot that he can and begins his work.
As he begins preparing his charcoal, incense, and herbs in the bowl, he happily thinks of having his companion again, and about how much he can help. Sure, people don’t always understand them, but this will be fine. ”Enaghu will probably be mad at being gone so long,” Neth thinks.
He lights the charcoal and begins the ritual, chanting in a low tone:
”L' nog ya, ainyth'drn ot mgepog,” over and over, in a trance like state.

Stena grits her teeth and tries to remain civil,
"And the derro? No sign of him? They must have been in the water."
"No, didn't see. If he wasn't breathing, not sure would give Breath. Wouldn't want him for slave either, but because he's creepy."

She turns around, leaving the KT, and asks in common,
"Did anyone see where the derro and Ranador went? Anyone?"

"The derro wasn't crazy enough to try and swim to Gracklstugh. There must be a path here."
Neth realizes he hasn’t seen them either and has an idea.
”If I summon my friend back he can go looking for them no problem.”

Cast Find Familiar.
((Galingal, give me an Athletics check please?))
Neth finds a place he won't get in the way, and begins preparing to cast some sort of ritual. It seems it will take a while.

Can Galingal 'Help" Stena with her attempt?
