"I am going to see about some supplies then grab a quick dinner and sleep." Triäsa says, giving Daventry and Ludolf a quick look and half smile. "You two enjoy your bath."
She quickly slips off to head to Erudite Outfitters to pickup supplies. After, she goes back to the House of Rest to drop the new items in her room. She then tries to see if she can locate Yalerion.
If not, she just grabs a light meal at The Hearth and then heads for sleep.
After Triäsa slips away Ludolf sits a while in awkward silence. "I upset her somehow, didn't I. I am used to that, but it is usually intended. Sitting in that dusty library hasn't done much for my social competence, eh." Ludolf says looking troubled. "Would you consider taking on another student Daventry?" Ludolf adds after a while with a smirk. "We should get going too." He says going with whoever joins him first to the Erudite Outfitters and Clothiers buying a new set of fine clothes and some rations for the journey to Baldurs gate. Then he goes to the Bath and Steam house for a hot bath, sauna and massage. After that a dinner at the Hearth, questioning Daventry, if she is there, about Baldurs gate, but keeping an eye out for Triäsa, wondering where she went off to, trying not o think of that too much. A brisk evening walk under the stars and then off to bed.
Before drifting off to sleep Ludolf contemplates his near death experience earlier the same day. The harrowing feeling of his life drained rapidly from his body, and then Triäsa with her warm blessing saving him, bringing him back to the world, a world he didn't really understand. It had been a mixed blessing meeting the others. Before meeting them death and oblivion had been the final embrace of a cold and uncaring world. Now he wanted to live and thus he had come to fear death. And death would be waiting for him during one of these adventures, he knew it. He hoped it would have some patience with him now though, seeing he had just come for a visit.
You all spend your evening making preparations, gathering the needed supplies and equipment from the Erudite Outfitters and Clothiers in the north-west portion of the court air. He will outfit you with whatever supplies you need (you can choose one of the Packs from the PHB if you have not already) and will try to fill any other requests. He tells you Bookwyrm sent an acolyte by earlier and notified him you might becoming and that any reasonable requests should be billed to him directly. They have any needed basic armor, arms and traveling gear, they do not have anything of a magical nature.
After your preparations are made those of you heading for a bath will find the bath and steam house next to the main gates. This is a beautiful wide open space with marble floors, high ceilings and a variety of plants. Off the main room are smaller rooms with salt water pools magically heated to a perfect temperature. Each pool is large enough for 4-5 people sit and relax comfortably. The rooms have a unique fragrance permeating the air from a wide variety of incenses. In the back of a building are steam rooms where water can be poured over coals while you relax. Next to the steam rooms are massage rooms staffed by a variety of intriguing people with very strong hands. Once you are done relaxing and getting cleaned up it would be getting rather late and I suspect it would time to retire in preparation for travel in the morning.
@Triäsa
You go looking for Yalerion at the House of Rest asking at the front desk you would be directed to his room which down the hallway from yours clear across the building. You knock gently and are surprised to find the door swings open on it's own. Inside the room you see Yalerion passed out alseep on his bed. He is still in his clothing from earlier with books scattered on the floor around the bed. There is another bottle of wine laying empty on it's side. He turns over smiling in his sleep and mutters something that almost sounds like "Triäsa" but who knows really.
You all wake up with the sun the next morning, there is adventure in the air! As you gather in the main room of the House of Rest the front attendant pulls you all aside giving you a note and pouch for each of you. The note reads as follows:
Inside of each pouch is 75gp as the note describes. You can grab a bite to eat before heading out on your journey and do any last minute tasks.

(response to spoiler) Triäsa grabs the case she keeps papers in and pulls out a pen and a blank sheet. She writes:
'Yalerion,
I tried to stop by this evening but you were indisposed. I just wanted to let you know that urgent matters have suddenly pulled me away from Candlekeep and I will be away by morning. I do intend to return, but not likely before you must go. It was very nice meeting you. Perhaps our paths might cross one again.
~Triäsa Galadon'
She grabs a quick dinner then heads early to bed. The next morning she is up early, a couple hours before dawn, to get a small breakfast then is ready to set out.
Ludolf reads Bookwyrms note and chuckles. "More spending money. I will definitely buy myself a riding horse for the journey back from Baldur's gate." He says to the others present. Those there notice he's wearing a rather tasteful but conservative black, white and grey assembly of a three piece suit, latest fashion in the Courts of Cormyr, that happened to be available at the Erudite Outfitters and Clothiers, and that the proprietor most likely helped him pick out. There's also something different with his grey hair, he might even have gotten a haircut at the baths last afternoon. Ludolf has a quick breakfast at the Hearth and then walks over to the main gate to meet the others, ready for their journey to Balur's gate.
Triäsa gives Ludolf a quick smile as he comes into the main room where the party is gathering. She then gives him a second look and steps over to him. "My, quite well dressed for hitting the road."
She absently reaches out a hand and brushes a speck of something off Ludolf's shoulder - well, presumably that's the case though nobody else really saw anything there. "Trying to impress someone?"
With a grin she turns to see how everyone else is doing this morning.
Noticing Klin staring at the pouch, Triäsa comes over to him. "Are you alright this morning, Klin? You seem to have a blank look on your face!" she says cheerfully.
Daventry looks apologetic. "I'm sorry, Fembris, I know it's early, but we've a long day ahead of us as well and there's something pickin' at the back of my brain."She looks to the rest. "We've a good lead in Baldur's Gate, but a long way to go. I feel like we've only seen half the picture here - outside of a quick thought, we never dug into the two actual victims much, did we?"
"I'd like to take a look through their possessions, whatever might be left... as well as the rooms in which they died. Who's to say these... creatures... don't have the capability to change into some other form and hide away, and have been missed until now?" Back to the group, "It might be a wild goose chase, in which case you'll have me buyin' an apologetic round once we get to the Friendly Arms Inn later tonight... but I can't settle my mind on the travels til we've at least lifted up this stone and seen what bugs lie underneath."
Fembris thinks about your request for a moment before responding, "Well the first event was almost a month ago the second was more recent. I know their prior lodgings have been given to others who have not had an incident. As for their belongings they were searched and filed away. I will get them and have them delivered to your room here at the House of Rest. As far as I was told it was all pretty ordinary outside of the two missing tomes. I am going to look into what other books and areas of study they were interested in today but I think it will take some time."
She again yawns widely before continuing, "Is it always this quiet and cool in the morning? And why is the ground so wet?She wipes some crust from her eyes, "Your last point is Bookwyrm's number one priority. We have no idea where these creatures or books are if you think it will help I can take you to the place in the Pillars where one of the attacks occurred. The other was in a private room here at the House of Rest. Bookwyrm seems to think if we have an idea what we are dealing with he might have a better chance at finding them."

Triäsa gives Klin a smile. "No need to apologize, just wanted to make sure you are okay. That does sound strange about your order. I wonder why they would not have let you know what was happening?"
Her attention is then drawn to Daventry and her discussion with Fembris. "It is an open question in my mind where those creatures went after the first attacks. Not sure resolving that would be very quick. But we could at least look at one of the locations where an attack happened I suppose."
Daventry nods to Fembris. "Whatever happened to them, happened in those rooms. If we are lucky, we might find a clue to what happened... And might help us for when we get to Baldur's Gate..."
Pardot makes a quick stop by the outfitters and enjoys the bath in the evening as well, noting that it had been a very long time since he'd bathed a a warm made-made tub, mostly used to the streams and rivers, though there are few enough of those in the deserts where he had done most of his star gazing. The following morning he comes down ready to join the others, wearing the same gear that he'd been in the day they all arrived here at the keep, mostly things that appear handmade, by a rather amateur hand, but very comfortable and functional.
He's got a handful of berries and is ready to hit the road.
buying some studded leather armor for 45g - Though Pardot is proficient with leather working tools, so if it’d be possible to just buy enough studded leather scraps for cheaper and he could work on it while they trek that’d be cool, and would fit in with the flavor of his piecemeal patchy armor :)
Ludolf almost flinches as Triäsa touches him, seemingly flustered by her question. "Yes, no...I mean I've just come to the realization that the life I have left should be filled with other things than rational thoughts and bitter remarks." He answers, somewhat apologetically, not looking into Triäsa's eyes.
"Yes, I guess we could take a quick look at the crime scenes before we leave, but I don't expect it to give much. Someone connected to that bookshop in Baldurs gate summoned these life draining book mimics. I don't claim to know for what purpose but it is hardly connected to our murder victims. If we find anything of interest it would likely just be confirmation of them being murdered by the same kind of creature that attacked us, but I think we already surmised as much. Let's go Fembris, we are losing daylight." Ludolf says, back in gruff form it seems.
Fembris nods her head and says "Let's go to the Pillars first then and look there. Give whoever the occupant of the room at the Long Rest is a chance to wake up... It is sooo early..." You take a short walk across the courtyard to the Pillars of Pedagogy. Fembris pulls out a small piece of parchment and checks the last location of your dead Seeker. She nods confidently and head out into the forest of stone towers. She takes towards one of the pillars in the back to the third floor and opens the door.
Inside the room is bare. You see a plain wooden table that does not appear to have been used recently with a small wooden chair tucked neatly in place. There are no decorations or anything on the walls. There is a very thin coating of dust on the floors and the table. There are no books or any objects in plain site.
"Huh, pretty empty. I guess they have not assigned this room to anyone in a while."Fembris starts poking around the room opening drawers while you all take it in. She makes small notes on her paper as she goes.
@Pardot -- You could make leather armor on the way. The supplies would be available at the store though they would charge you 15gp for them. If you worked on them every evening during your travel They would be completed the day you enter the city. If you wanted the armor for trip it could be purchased from the store for 40gp. The decision is yours.
"So this has not been used since the murder then. That is promising I must admit." Ludolf says as he starts his investigating the room. "Where was the body found?" He asks Fembris, but assumes it would have been by the table, as the murder victim was trying to read the book in question.
Investigation concentrated around the table: 18 :-P
