Janek;

 Everyone;

As you all make your way up to the third floor you come to a dusty balcony with a suit of black plate armor standing against one wall, draped in cobwebs. Oil lamps are mounted on the oak-paneled walls. 2 doors sit on the West side of the room (Down) and 2 doors sit on the East side of the room. (Up).

  “Damn shame such a fine set of armour has been left idle.” Vorser says eyeing up the plate armour, and can’t help but measure it up against himself. ((Perception: 15))

”Seems strange if the parents are still in the building that they have left it to get in such disrepair.”  He stops to look for any sign of activity ((Perception: 16))

Janek shrugs as everyone heads up to the third floor and follows them.  He takes a look around for a moment. ((Perception: 16)) 

"Well, guess we pick a door and start looking." 

Durant follows the group closely. Not enjoying the quietness of this place, he urges Janek forward. "Well go on then, this place makes my neck hairs stand on end"

((Be careful when rolling numerous checks of the same thing, I'll use the last roll, regardless of what the first one was.))

Vorser;

 Janek;

Ignatia indicates the right-most door, " Lets try knocking on that one."

Janek moves to his right, over to the double doors.  "Ready?" he asks, though he doesn't wait for a response.  He tries the door handle and opens the doors if it isn't locked. 

“Right behind you.” Vorser moves away from the suit of armour, and enters the room behind Janek (and Ignatia, if she followed in)

DM Rolls;

As you all line up by the door, Vorser begins to make his way over, however, as he leaves the armor, some creaking can be heard, and before Vorser can react, the armor reaches out and slams it's hand into him. (Dealing 8 damage. It rolled a 20 to hit. But if that doesn't hit for some reason let me know.)

And with that, you can all roll initiative.

Ignatia Initiative:5

Panicked, Ignatia backed away towards the stairs, grabbing her sling and sent a river-stone flying towards the armour.

Attack: 8 Damage: 3

Initiative: 19

Janek turns at the sound of the attack against Vorser, ready to move to assist him as he draws his longswords. 

((I knew that armour would be trouble, 20 does indeed hit and 8 is a sore one!

Initiative: 3))

Vorser braces himself against the attack, which drops him to a knee,  in one motion he stands back up and swings his sword up against the body of the construct.

"Vorser!" Durant shouts out in surprise. He pulls his holy symbol and hammer out ready to fight and help his allies.

Seeing the suit animate and strike out, he waits for opportunity to pay back for it.

(Attack w/ Warhammer: 7 Damage: 3)

Round 1 (Resolve);

Janek;
     The first swing comes up short, but as you quickly correct this, your second swing comes around and digs deep into the armor. (Dealing 9 Damage.)

Durant;
     As you swing your hammer at the suit of armor, it deflects off it's chest plate and doesn't seem to make a dent in it. (Miss)

Ignatia;
     With everyone in close quarters to it, it makes it difficult to get a good angle on it and your stone misses and hits the wall behind it. (Miss)

Armor (Enemy);
     The suit of armor takes his left hand, after just swinging with his right and attempts to slam it into Durant. Attack: 19 Damage: 6

((Assuming this hits)) The armors fist makes contact with Durant and slams him in the side.

Vorser;
     The impact from earlier still has you a little dazed, as you go to swing, your sword comes up just short. (Miss)

((Sorry, was waiting to get initiative order.))

Janek moves forward, attacking the armor suit with both longswords.

Janek continues to move, using both his swords to attack once again.

Durant back up a bit, holding his side. "You metal bastard you..." holding up his holy symbol, he utters a Word of Radiance flashing a divine light at the armor.

He then takes a moment to gauge his and his allies health. "You all finish it off while I nurse me wounds"

(Word of Radiance con save 14 DC, if fail damage: 6)

Not wanting to get any closer to the metal monster Ignatia cast another stone, " Why is this thing in a household with small children?"

Attack: 9 Damage: 3

Janek;
Your first swing angled down and deflected off the armor, appearing to make no dent, again, your second swing makes up for the first and as you swing, you knock off it's right arm. Black etheral energy begins to pour out of the armor as it looks badly damaged.

 Durant;
Animated Armor Con Save: 6
As the flash of light comes out, the creature let's out a ghostly howl as it appears to take damage from it. More black etheral energy begins to flow out of the holes in it's helmet as well.

 Ignatia,
The flash of light from Durant, throws off your aim and your shot misses it's mark, deflecting off it's left shoulder.

 Armor;

The armor, briefly blinded by the flash of light, swings at the source. (aka Durant)
