Seeing others trying to break into the cabinets, Janek looks about the room for anything else that might help them get out. He can't help but keep an eye on the stuffed wolves as well,  given the suit of armor that attacked earlier.

Durant walks up wielding his Hammer in both hands. "I s'pose I can give it a whack" he aims for where the lock itself is trying to minimize damage to the rest of the cabinet. "here's hoping there's something worth it inside!"

As Durant lines up his hammer, and prepares to whack the lock, he takes his swing and as his hammer makes contact, the entire front of the cabinet door falls down, glass shattering on the ground.

"eh..oops. A little too much" he chuckles while saying. Seeing no sense in wasting time, he starts to poke through the cabinet's contents.

Vorser rummages through his pack “I’ve a crowbar in here that … never mind, good hit my friend!  Now let’s see what was behind those locks.”  Vorser has a scan through the remnants of the cabinet for anything worthwhile.

As Durant and Vorser dig through the first cabinet, they find a heavy crossbow, a light crossbow, a hand crossbow, and 20 bolts for each weapon (60 bolts total). As Elysis checks out the second cabinet, she finds it's unlocked and inside holds an assortment of wine glasses and a small box containing a deck of playing cards.

Ignatius continues drinking...

Ignatia, give me a constitution check lol.

“I guess they were hunters, especially with the decorations.” Vorser motions towards the wolves.  “Anyone need ammunition or a new weapon?”

"If nobody would take that Light Crossbow, I wouldn't mind it... Could be useful, at closer range than this little bow... We still need to find a way out of this home..."

Elysis, after looking at the second cabinet, takes out the bottle of wine and puts it on the top of the cabinet. After a last look at the room, she gets out, waiting to walk to the second floor.

Durant looks over the heavy crossbow, "This looks mighty deadly. If anything we can take it to maybe find a shop to sell it later" He takes it and puts it in his pack best he can.

"Anyone end up wanting it, just let me know. In the meantime, I saw another door right by the stairs. Let's try it next"

Janek says, "I can actually use the heavy crossbow."  He glances to Durant, "But keep it in your pack if you like."

He does reach in and grab the bolts.  He hands half (30) to Elysis, keeping the rest. "They're a lot more effective with these."

He then starts to head out of the room,  heading over to the door Elysis mentioned. ((Top right of the map.)) He listens at the door.  ((Perception: 5))

Durant takes the heavy crossbow out of his pack and hands it to Janek. "Please, take this. I'm sure it'll do ya well"

He listens at the door with Janek as well to hear if anything lies within. (Perception 11)

Vorser picks up the hand crossbow and places it into his pack,  “I’m sure we will find a use for this, or at least can get some coin or it.”  And heads out to with Janek and Durant.
