"Okay Ned, take this cloak and dagger and take care of yourself." Elwyn says smiling, already in the habit to give away his cloak to complete strangers. "I'll keep you company to the front door Ned, I'm going downstairs anyway to take care of my friend who just landed it sounded like." He says and starts escorting Ned downstairs. Kulogall - You make it back to the foyer and find Wake at the top of the stairs waiting for you. He helps you ascend and the two of you are now standing at the top of the stairs.
Kulogall & Wake - The first room to the right has yet to be explored, the second, with the large amount of traffic to and from it has had the door opened but the room itself has not been entered. The third room where you found Ned now has a Triton sized hole in the floor. The hallway to the west has not been explored either. Judging from what sounds you can hear, it seems like the rest of your companions are down the north hallway.
"Yeah, he went over there, seems like Elwyn is trying to calm him down." She says to Daveth, pointing down the hallway where Elwyn is standing. Then she hears a loud crash and a thud as someone falls to the floor below. Before she gets to the stairs she already sees Wake and Kulogall who as she can see was the one that fell down. "What happend? Are you okay?"
Elwyn - Ned drops the broken chair leg and gratefully accepts the offered items. "Thank ye kindly. Should I send fer help in town? Sounds like someone could be hurt." He dons the cloak and tucks the dagger in his waistband, "Lead the way, sir."
Ruby - You see Wake rushing out of the room at the very end of the hall where they found the man. He gets to the top of the stairs as you're clearing the damaged bit of floor. You both hear and see Kulogall limping around the front of the staircase. He is filthy and seems to be in a good amount of pain.
Elwyn will escort Ned down the stairs and to the closest exit before returning to the others. "No we will be fine Ned. He does that sometimes, nothing to worry about. Take care now Ned, and see you back in Saltmarsh."Elwyn says as Ned departs for town.
All - Kulogall, Wake, and Ruby are now gathered at the top of the stairs when Elwyn and Ned round the corner from the north hallway. Ned seems to have found a cloak and you can just see the hilt of a dagger sticking out of his waistband.
Elwyn - You lead Ned to the front door of the house and he exits through it. He thanks you again and sets off. Before you close the door, you notice that the sky is darker now, it looks like a storm could be approaching
Wake & All - This bedroom has no furniture, but rubbish is scattered everywhere, and webs cover the walls and ceiling. From the doorway, you can see a glint of light in the fireplace from a small, highly reflective object.
“Looks like a storm is approaching.” Kulogall is oddly attuned to the weather, especially on the coast and he feels it coming, and it is clear by the darkening skies. “Everyone, can we take a little rest in one of these rooms? I feel like something cracked here on my side when I landed, maybe I can bandage it up.” He looks at everyone for approval and thoughts.
After a moment he says “I don’t know about you, but I’m not so easily spooked as our nervous captive was. There is something going on in this house and I want to get to the bottom of it, even if we have to search every inch.”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"Yes, well, I won't give up until we find Cal anyway, so I'm with you on that Kulogall." Elwyn responds. "So do you want a lie down on that cosy bed Kulogall, or where should we take that rest?"
"I am down for a little a break, sure. Does the room look safe and dry enough Wake? Wouldn´t want to get soaked once the storm comes."She says, trying to peek into the room. "But I do agree with Elwyn, there has to be some kind of clue to where the boy has gone."
Kulogall smiles at Wake, who is drawn to the shiny object. He looks at the webs in here and says “No, thank you. I won’t be staying in here. Among the spider webs. Ech.”
Among the ashes and cobwebs you see a small crystal bauble (5sp). The flat-bottomed crystal orb is pleasant to look at and tactilely satisfying to hold.
All - You watch as Wake pokes at the contents of the fireplace with his Warhammer. Something rolls out and he picks it up. Suddenly, a CRACK-BOOM sound comes from the approaching storm outside. After the thunder fades, you all hear the muffled clatter of a thousand tiny legs as a swarm of spiders pours forth from the fireplace! Another swarm descends from the thick webbing above the doorway.
Let's roll for initiative!

Wake will message back to Kulogall,
”I don’t know where Ned is off to. I’ll meet you on the stairs.”
Wake will tell Elwyn,”He’s hurt but heading back to the stairs.”He will gather his shield and double dash towards/down the stairs.

“I … should… have…. taken… the easy way down.” (wince) Kulogall says to Wake with a weak smile.

Wake will look over Kulogall to determine his condition.
“You ok?”
He’ll then re-equip his shield.
”I’m sorry, but I need you to gut it out a little longer. Please stay behind me.”
Wake will open the first door.

"So, did you have a good landing Kulogall." Elwyn says with a compassionate smile, laying a hand on the tritons shoulder. "So where is Ariana?"

“It’s the only room upstairs that I’ve seen without floor damage, so yes, I think this room will be safe.”
Wake will approach the fireplace to. See what the shiny object is.
