"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."
Serandis Mendaen (Aereni Elven Rogue/maybe one day Wizard)- Project Point Playtest
And so the tiefling party, guided by an old lady and accompanied by a giant lizard, goes off into the mysterious jungle of Chult on canoes. The sun is in full splendour. Hellmuth's armour looks like a lantern. Colorful sounds are heard from every angle. Majestic birds, small critters...
And maybe something else.
OOC Lyorna and Nemaia, one of you can do a Survival check with advantage (one helps the other) for navigation. Also, MC can you help me getting this table right since you did the inventory?
OOC: I only have a +1 so you are up :), I will work on getting the table right based on the resources we have. Are we assuming we allowed the gourds to fill or do we need to wait for a rainfall?

The party goes without troubles on the River Shoshenstar, covering 20 miles on the first day of the expedition.
OOC you can see on the second slide of the doc the progression on the map. So, for this first day, nothing of particular interest happens (no encounter). You can tell me if you want to do some foraging (food and water).
Here is the table I came up with for the food/water/insect repellent

10*
Thundruck is carrying the 1 Gallon Jugs (10 of them) But we will need to boil water and catch rain to get them filled up, I assumed we filled our wineskins before we left
Thundruck is carrying most of the food, each of us will have 1 day worth of rations on us presumably
Rule Note: While we have 92 pounds of rations, we will likely consume 2 pounds a day per person, unless we go with Half Rations which has side effects
Question: Not sure if we are assuming Thundruck will eat from the food around him, he is a lizard, so hunting may be required?
OOC Ok, general rule is that for foraging you need to do a Survival check, and roll 1d6+WIS for the amount of food you find. IN the case the check is successful, I will add the food to the table.

OOC: I have +4 to survival 24
A dwarf with a canoe on his back? What could go wrong?

OOC: I edited my previous post with my roll! Nat 20!

(OOC - I'd also like to think that because of our hellish nature and fire resistance - that heat doesn't bother us as much :) )

(OOC - boo :P - and I would suggest we forage when we are at the end of the day and want to set up camp (is that where we are now?)

(OOC - I would assume being native to Chult he could effectively forage for his own food)
(OOC - also OMG Kat would so love a giant pet lizard hehe)

OOC A character needs 1 pound of food per day, I quoted the PHB rule on the campaign page. Thundruck can forage/hunt on its own.
Also, Argent, yes, we can assume we are at the end (evening) of Day 1.
OOC: So lets set up camp and forage for some food. :) And, of course, ignore one another, because we don't fully trust each other lol

OOC: I have a +4 to my survival, so if someone has higher, feel free to roll instead of me.

(OOC - my survival is -1 so don't count on me :P so is my Initiative (-1) so you're probably right to not trust me :P )

OOC: As long as she is not needed elsewhere, I am trained in survival and will continue to aid Nemaia in her survival checks for foraging.
OOC That roll was good enough, I am going to add only 5 pounds (9 - 4 you are going to eat for the day).
Eku, after eating just a few berries, comes to sit next to Hellmuth: " So, Hellmuth, if I may, how did you come to serve the Lord of the Dead? "
