Allian whispers "Why don't we put a couple of shields from the wall over the holes and when they come to remove them, beat the tar out of them. Or at least find out who they are! We'll need allies down here." He fishes out some pitons and a hammer from his bag.
The hall expands into another room, and the sand on the floor thins out into just stone. Spaced on the walls are stone reliefs ten feet away from each other, carvings on them seeming to depict creatures not of this world. Lying next to one carving of a tree-shaped creature is a humaniod skeleton. Stairs lead to an exit into another room.
Spass rushes to catch up with everyone after admiring the half-elf statue for a moment. He also notices the pictures of demons on the wall and is going to try to figure out what kinds they are.21 (Arcana, advantage from Hunter's Bane) He then moves to the skeleton, seeing if any of the bones are in decent shape, and will collect the unbroken ones.

Allian says "Strange, those reliefs are of demons maybe a warning I would leave those bones alone Spass they could animate." he looks to see if there is a clue to how this person died investigation
The carving on the right wall depicts (from back to front) a balor, a barlgura, a chasme, a dretch, a glabrezu, a goristro, and a hezrou. The left wall, a marilith, a nalfeshnee, a quasit, a shadow demon, a vrock, and a yochlol. Allian, you can't find any obvious signs of death.

"I don't care for demons; I am going to keep an eye out ahead of us while all of you puzzle this out." Gnirk sneaks up to the end of the stairway at the end of the hallway. He keeps watch there to make sure nothing surprises the group.
The Yochlol is the tree shaped one. If Taxzan has entered the room by now, he notices that two of the carvings, the nalfeshnee and the dretch, each of small hinges on them and can be moved. Gnirk, the stairs lead down a five feet into a coffin shaped room, with stairs going up on all four walls, inside the room, pillars a strewn about most of the room, and, hiding behind two of the pillars, are two large bugbears, trying to obscure themselves.

Taxzan nods as he moves to grab a shield from the wall, sending his drake to guard the areas that leads away from where they are.
Allian hammers a couple of pitons into the grooves of the door just high enough to block the eye holes when they hang the shields.
"Ok lets go further in and listen. Or if you want just leave."

Taxzan keeps close to the other, drawing one of his swords as they catch sight of the bones, whistling for his drake to close the gap and stay close.
