"Would be cool to race with a dinosaur." Sarya says to no one in particular. "You seem very eager to get hired Gondolo, but we will not decide on a guide quite yet so you can stop the sales pitching now."
"Trifling, what do you mean trifling?" She says to Carlos with a frown.
" I mean… Tiefling of course. It's all because of Tej. It is smooth but stronger than I thought " Carlos shocks his head. He finds that his mind becomes hard to be focused and his tongue suddenly gets some weight. " Time to change something weak. Waiter! Give me a mug of ale! And one more dish of this… Para, Para… saurlolo…phoOOuch! I bite my lip! Why are these dinosaur names so hard to pronounce!"
Gondolo departs, but he keeps his friendly, optimistic demeanor fully in tact as he does so. "I wish you all the best! And you know where to find me should you ever reconsider."
With the halfling's interruption now a piece of the past, the five of you begin to enjoy food and drink. The ale is quite good, but all of you recognize it immediately as something that's been imported. You've tasted it before in Baldur's Gate, and you're sure that Rennika stocked it at the Shawm 'n' Lute. When you're certain you can't eat anymore and shouldn't drink anymore, your enjoyable time at The Monkey's Fist is suddenly interrupted by the sound of multiple horns being sounded somewhere outside but not too distant. You need no explanation: these horns are a call to arms.
"Malar's Throat!" calls out a Chultan woman who is sitting nearby. "There's an attack!"
Looks of panic overcome many of the patrons in the inn. A few, however, stand and rush out the door, seemingly with the intent to confront whatever threat is facing the city.
"An attack?!" Harq says, thanking the gods that he has a broom to ride, since he's quite full and doesn't think he could actually walk at this point. "What would attack the town?"He then hops on his broom and begins to follow those running to the door, also flying up a bit to get a better view.
Thoradin perks up at the possibility of some action, grabs his hammer and shield and heads toward the commotion as fast as his short legs would let him.
Sarya tilts her head and smiles at Carlos giving him a pat on the back.
She gives a nod at Gondolo as he finally leaves them to eat and drink. She particularly savors the ale from back home.
As the call to battle sounds she literary flies to the exit of the Monkey's Fist carried by her winged boots. "The undead infesting these lands perhaps." She suggests to Harq with a quick smile. "I fear we will soon find out."
" Tymora nipples! Why can't we take a break! " Carlos tries to rise from chair and nearly falls down. " Damn! I drank too much!" He slaps his face with divine power twice. One for left (Vigilant Blessing), then one for right(Guidance). The cleric catches up with one person who's running toward the door and asks them. " What's happening? Who's attacking the city? "
The five of you rush into the damp street and make your way northward toward the city gate that stands between Port Nyanzaru and Malar's Throat (the city's slum area). You hear murmurs and cries as people run past you in the opposite direction. "Undead! Skeletons! Zombies!"
Charging through the gate, you look toward the Temple of Tymora and see threat: three skeletons and five zombies. They seem to be focused on the temple, or, more likely, those individuals who are within the temple. Most of Malar's Throat is empty, for the residents have scurried through the gate to seek safety behind the walls. As you study the scene before you, one of the guards calls, "Inside the gate! Now! We're closing it!"
You can tell the guard isn't bluffing.
No need for initiative, for the undead are wholly focused on the temple. Skeletons denoted in black and zombies in yellow.
Rawlings looks to her companions and says, “We got this, don’t we?” And she dashes up to hide behind the middle of those 3 buildings in between them. (80 ft)
"Screw this, we have to save the people inside that temple, come on!"Sarya shouts and flies closer (30ft) and swiftly curses the closest zombie (Hex, dex on Zombie 1) and then she blasts it with a fiery beam of crackling force to hopefully distract the undead from entering the temple.

" Filthy undead scums... " Carlos swears as he runs toward the temple. Tymora isn't his goddess. But there is no way a cleric allows cursed creatures to desecrate the house of deity. Carlos raises his shield and an ominous sound blast explodes around one of the zombies.
Action:Toll the Dead (WIS DC14 or 9 damage.) to the zombie one.
"Stay behind me!"The order seemed to fall on deaf ears though it might have seemed strange coming from someone to their rear. You and your fancy long legs... He saw two of them fly up. Or above, that should work too... Running as hard as he could manage Thoradin tried to be the first to the undead attacking the temple.
The party advances toward the undead, ensuring a melee class will soon ensue. Sarya's arcane blast tears into the first zombie; immediately after, Harqsends a spike of psychic pain into what little grey matter that zombie might have.
(Note: Carlos was unable to be within range to cast Toll the Dead (60'); so, I placed his token on the map as if he had taken a dash action. This can be modified if needed)
The undead response to this initial attack is as follows:
Skeleton 1 sheathes its shortsword, readies an arrow, and seeks cover behind a building to the north of the temple
Skeleton 2 remains focused on battering the temple door
Skeleton 3 sheathes its shortsword and readies an arrow.
Zombies 1, 2, and 5 rush toward the party.
Zombies 3 and 4 remain focused on the temple
All players mat act in any order; only zombie 1 is injured.
Sarya blasts the closest zombie (zombie 1) with another fiery beam of crackling force. Eldritch blast: 8 Force: 5 Necrotic: 2 Fire: 2 She then takes cover from the skeleton archers behind a building, still flying (south 4 squares).
" My lady grants me new power since I faced the lich. And now it's time for you abominations to taste it! " A white light emerges from Carlos' body. For living beings, It's soft and gentle like moonlight. But for undead's eyes, the light is more fierce and painful than the sunbeam itself.
(Activate Turn Undead. And move 30ft toward the temple)
Channel Divinity: Turn Undead
As an action, you present your holy Symbol and speak a prayer censuring the Undead. Each Undead that can see or hear you within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw(DC14). If the creature fails its saving throw, it is turned for 1 minute or until it takes any damage.
A turned creature must spend its turns trying to move as far away from you as it can, and it can't willingly move to a space within 30 feet of you. It also can't take Reactions. For its action, it can use only the Dash action or try to Escape from an Effect that prevents it from moving. If there's nowhere to move, the creature can use the Dodge action.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Harq reaches into a small pouch at his side and pulls out a small diamond. Holding it in the palm of his hand it begins to spin and radiate heat as small sparks begin to fly from it in all directions. From it then a small orb of fire flies out from it towards the nearest zombie, as Harq does a barrel roll ducking down and north between some buildings to keep range from the zombies, and cover from the skeletons' arrows.
Attack: 20Fire Damage: 15 - I don't think mechanically fire dmg is stronger against zombies, but it just seems fitting.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Thoradin rushes toward the nearest undead and smashes it with his hammer, channeling his rage into greater might with a scream which hopefully would also keep their attention on him and not the others.
(Moves to nearest monster, bonus action rage, action attack: Attack: 18 Damage: 9 bludgeoning and 2 fire damage.)
