The waiter writes your orders down, his eyes turn to Gattara "Anything for you miss?" Meanwhile, a familiar magpie flies into the building and lands on Fargens shoulder, eyeing the food but respectively, not partaking, he seems to be enjoying the music.
"They sent me to debrief you." Rudy whispers in Fargens ear "But eat first"
"O-oh! Right, uh, sorry." Nobody quickly apologized before picking up his menu for the first time. After only a quick scan at some of the items he began let out a sheepish chuckle and admitted, "I-It's been so long that forgotten th-that there are more options than just mutton and bread."
Yanda takes the opportunity to practically scrabble up onto his head for a better look at the menu, only to then gesture and chatter enthusiastically. "W-what? N-no! I'm not-" Nobody starts to say, only to receive a head drumming. It didn't appear to hurt him much, but he still flinched and let out small noises of complaint until eventually breaking. "A-alright! Alright, I get it! For the love of Azuth... I-I-I'll take the cockatrice noodle soup and, uhm... this, eh... Pint of Behir? Isn't that -- You know, s-surprise me on the drink bit." He says as he hands back the menu.
Both he and Yanda cock their heads to the side seeing a bird of all things fly in and take up roost on Fargen's shoulders. Although depending on how the dwarf reacts, the tiefling either shrug it off as merely a quirk of the tavern or continued to look on in anticipation of some great revelation.

The waiter takes your orders, nods his head and heads back to the kitchen, leaving you to talk amongst yourselves.
The magpie clears it's throat, as he hops down upon the table, "First off, tell me what you folks learnt so I can, relay it to Leosin." The conversations, around the common room, or some could say dining hall is in a low hum, little chance of being overheard. Hunger gets the best of the bird and he grabs a grape.
(OOC: Sorry for the delayed post. It's been a hectic couple of days on my end.)
Nobody looks first to Kissa and Fargen, and in seeing neither quick to answer, the tiefling turned to the magpie next and shrugged. "Honestly... N-n-not all that much, or so it feels. I-If I recall correctly, the original m-mission was to f-follow and m-m-monitor them. A-and, uh, while we d-did have a few close calls at times, w-we n-never got close enough to really, u-uhm, learn much of their plans. I-If anything, w-we only made ourselves s-seem suspicious enough that th-they saw fit to, erm, f-f-force one of our prior members to leave, least s-some trumped up murder charges spoiled things..... o-o-or such was my reading of that, uhm, situation." He said with a sheepish grin towards the end.
Nobody went on to explain over the next few minutes or so as concise a summary as he could of the journey, excluding the bit about the Eladrin(Archfey??? Elven Lord?!) turned golden elk and similar misadventures unrelated to the cult along the way. Unfortunately, with the exception of physical descriptions for cult members and especially that of the mage seemingly in charge of them and their current dragonborn lead in town, the rest of Nobodies report doesn't add up to much being learned.

K, I put a link for when Fargen, was scrying on the cult, I don't know if he ever shared this info, But Kissa and Nobody, I would say Fargen, shared it off camera, with both of you and all other info too, so look back on the posts in the game.
(I really need to get back into taking notes... But okay!)
"W-well, uh, nowhere j-just yet aside from bed I suppose once dinner is over." Nobody chuckles nervously, then appeared to sit up abruptly and facepalm. "I-I almost forgot. Though, eh, Fargen would know better, I-I believe he did learn their next destination via scrying to be, uhm, a road house a ways north of Waterdeep. I-I took a boat from Neverwinter to Waterdeep a ways way back, s-so I don't know much about it, personally. B-but if there's ever to be a point they'll branch off elsewhere or f-feel more secure in converging some place, that... c-could be the place?" He shrugs haplessly.
"S-so, uh, unless our friend here-" He awkwardly gestures to the magpie. "Has a poignant suggestion, w-we'll have to secure another employer, try to beat them there, o-or follow at some distance once they are on the move again... o-o-or so I presume, if the more direct approach of trying to find the dragonborn in town is a less comfortable option."

Fargen exhausted from the day has nodded off. He takes a cue for additional info. "Ah, sorry. Yes the destination... Well, you see with Moradin's sight I overheard the group talk about the 'Road House' north of Waterdeep. We know they moved the stolen treasure horde with the caravan. They will likely try to stash or report in their haul there. We had conversations with a few of them- a wizard and a cleric, I believe. Though who knows how many cultist hide here in Waterdeep or plan to converge on the same location."
Fargen perks up to the sign of food and starts eating voraciously. There seems to be something more primal about Fargen's actions, though he still wears Moradin's crest as proudly as ever.
Rudy nods his head in a humanoid gestor "Our agents, watched them, enter Waterdeep, visit the local supply warehouses, then back to outside, too the north of the city" Rudy looks at the two new comers, the human druid and Jarbeen ranger, "Gattera and Kuri isn't it? Best tell your new friends, what your factions, told you to tell them."Rudy takes some meat and eats it. "Mmm taste like chicken"
I am from the Emerald Enclave myself. Yes, we have been told some dragonborns cultists located around the northern gate (so our information was right, after all). what will be our next move, then?
" I'm happy going cross country if it will get us to the location quicker.......but we still need to determine exactly where the location is. Should we kidnap one of them? Surely people go missing here all the time?", Kissa delicately licked the blood off of her knife and plate as she finished her meal.
"Well, it's like this ok? Like, a tenday ago, we saw maybe a half dragon in the City, and he was like Identified, by the leader type folks as a bad or medium bad dude named Rezmir and like he left at the north gate."
*waves a carrot*
"The spying type folks say that cultists and wagons have gotten together by the north gate, and are going to take off in the morning, with like another caravan taking supply stuff to a road thing, which is like next to a Road House in the Mere of Dead Dudes."
*sticks out tongue*
"They also said the caravan is like hiring folks. So we could like go there and like get hired you know?"
*munch* *munch*

Nobody, who had been listening intently and nodding along at points, did a bit of a double take at the magpie's mention of chicken. "J-just gonna ignore that," He muttered as he went back to eating and listening to others.
"Uhm.... y-yea. M-more or less, anyhow. A-and unfortunately, I-I have neither the skills or magical glamours at m-my disposal to really alter s-such, uhh, problematic perceptions." Nobody admitted while stirring about his food. "W-which is why it may be in our best interest our new friends a-aren't seen associating with us when we, uhm, go to get hired on the morrow. A-at least not at first--" He quickly turns to the Jerbeen and elder (at least looking) woman with his hands raised in surrender and nervous smile. "N-not that I don't want to. Fargen looks somehow worn and not very talkative. Perhaps these newcomers will breath life into this mission. I tire of watching and waiting...
Fargen looks to the waiter and offers simply, "Meat. Tell the cook to dress it up however you like. Just start sending it out."
