(I don’t mind if others want to join in. Although hopefully we will talk the dragon down.) Dorian looks at the dragon that has appeared from the sky. He has heard of such legendary creatures but never thought he would meet one in the middle of the woods. Good dragon. I don’t know where this mage is but I do know where Sylpeiros Greenvale is. I am an explorer of these lands and have come across this location. Dorian gives a look to the others. He didn’t in fact know where this dragon was but thought it would be better to lie to this creature and hope it goes on its way. If you keep travelling north 4 days you should see Sylpeiros Greenvale.
(Well, ok, Archie get it on then. Let us know how you find us and what you do at your initiative. Everyone, let's roll initiative and do your turns or wait if your ini is lower than the dragon. I would argue that the wyrm randomly attacks either Rizo or Dorian, because he was offended by their lousy attempt to lie.)
The wyrmling wasn't sure if these humanoids are daft or are making fun of them but certainly they will regret the day to have met them! With a mighty roar the wyrm readies for battle.

Right before Dorian gets hit by the wyrm, you see a feathered shape fly out and land in front of you. You hear this feathered humanoid yell in his gruff, yet majestic (like the wind), voice shout Wind Wall! All of a sudden, a wall of wind forms in front of him and Dorian, and the wyrm shouts: "YOU PESKY PIGEON!" The wyrm takes a second to regain its balance, and then says: "You have been attacking me for several days, and you are becoming a nuisance."
The birdman then shouts: "YOU KILLED MY FRIENDS!" He pulls out his crossbow and fires an arrow at the wyrm, through the wind, which aids the arrow's trajectory.
(Nice legendary item. Guess, there is a good story to tell about how you helped slaying that air elemental. Still, the normal Wind Wall doesn’t let you shoot arrows through, afaik. But correct me if I’m wrong. Let’s see Gordon’s Initiative and what he does. @Archie, your ini is 11, right?)

(How can you cast dominate monster? Isn’t that a level 8 spell. I think we’re all level 3 so the highest spells we could cast is level 2. Unless you have an item to cast it)

(@Gale, you are getting well ahead of yourself but your action is noted. The Wind Wall was an action (unless your item allows you to cast it as bonus action), so was your Crossbow attack. Now, to activate the item again for the Dominate Monster spell is another action and before you can do that we have to go through all the actions of everyone else, two times in fact. Moreover, as a suggestion, you might want to clarify everything that is specific to your item in the item's rules on your character sheet, i.e. that it allows you to shoot ammunition through it but, presumingly, others not. We cannot really know what you think your item does if it is not written down there. I've consulted this version of you: Gale Hawk - D&D Beyond (dndbeyond.com) Please, correct me if it is not the current one.)
Ini (bold where we are now): Gordon (17 - attack), Gale (11 - Wind Wall), Wyrm (11-breath weapon), Rizo (5 - Wildfire Spirit + Shillelagh (BA)), Dorian (3 - tbd), Gordon (17-tbd), Gale (11-Crossbow attack), Wyrm (11-tbd), Rizo (5 - tbd), Dorian (3 - tbd), Gordon (17-tbd), Gale (11-Dominate Monster),...
The dragon wyrmling, annoyed by this heap of feathers who throws insults at him, leaps over the windwall (60ft fly , wall is max 15ft high) into position to attack (1-3 Rizo, 4-6 Dorian, who both lied to him and Gale who tries his very best to get on his bad side) with his acid breath weapon (he gets not more than two victims in a line):
1
12 acid damage (DC 11 Dex save - half damage if successful)
Rizo tries to get his shield in place before the acid stream rushes in his direction and casts Shillelagh (Bonus action) on his club in preparation to battle this foe. Then he moves in melee distance and summons his wildfire spirit companion behind the Dragon. In a fiery blaze materialises a wild boar spirit wreathed in flames. (DEX save DC 14 for the dragon or 2d6 fire damage)

(Please, do your DEX saves and I updated the current turn order. )
The Wyrmling hisses when the heat emanating from the wildfire burst burns their scales, leaving a black mark. (They are at 15/22 HP) In their frustration, they gauged if they will be able to blast them all into oblivion with a final breath (breath weapon recharge for 5+, no worries it's for their next turn)

I cast the spell Dominate Monster, and create a telepathic link with the wyrm. In my head, I yell "HEEL BOY, HEEL" in a mocking tone.

The dominate monster spell from a ring of air elemental command only affects air elementals, so it should not work here, but I believe that is what GamingArcitectV2 is trying to use.
