Jek will peak his head out, and try once again to aim the Minor Illusion in-between the two voices. This time, he will make it sound like male giant in the clearing is insulting the one in the woods, using one of the worst/best insults that Chuba taught him.
Perception to determine the best location for the spell, if needed: Nat 1! Total 5
Edit: As Jek tries to figure out where to place the illusion, another Giant shout startles him. In a panic, he picks a place he thinks is about right, only to realize it was directly infront of him right after he casts it. He whispers quietly to himself in Deep Speech "Vaarn". He will push himself into the tree more, and pray that the Bright Lady protects him from his own mistake. Looking toward where the rest of the Order should be, he realizes it may have been a mistake getting so close.
Seen Jek misplaced his illusion, Atoh drows other arrows from her quiver. She notches the spare blue arrow to the string and puts the red one in her mouth. Atoh gives a glance at her partner. " I hate that… " The little dragon signs. " But I'll do it "
Ready Action: If one of the giants comes to the direction where Jek is hiding, Tola will jump out from his cover and run to the other giant. Atoh prepares to teleport Tola back before he is caught and eaten.
The male giant, hearing the short fallen illusion, turns and moves toward the bushes where Jek is hidden. He looks confused, searching around at what is eye level for a Hill Giant, expecting to find another of his kind there. The situation was beginning to wear on him. He was still holding one chewed haunch of boar in one hand, the slab of meat looking the same as a chicken wing may in a normal person's hand.
The giant reaches back, scratches its butt, then slicks the same hand over its head while it contemplates what's happening around it.
Then it turns its gaze down on the shrubbery at the base of the sequoia where Jek, Chuba, and Atoh are hiding...
While holding the his bloodwell necklace tight, Jek will focus and subtly cast another minor illusion behind the Giant, this time the woman's voice again, 30ft behind him. It will call out one of the insults that Chuba told him about.
The series of thrown rocks and spells cast works well to get the male giant to turn. He faces back the direction he came and follows the rock for a second, his brow furrowing as he hears the laugh come from the rock. There's a moment where he is puzzle by what he is seeing, and then a second rock goes flying. This one is huge, probably weighing two hundred pounds, and hits him directly in the face. The male giant stumbles, teeth and blood spraying from his mouth while a huge hand reaches up to clutch his busted, probably broken, nose.
The female giant strolls into the clearing and reaches down to pick up another projectile for her ranged offensive, this time lifting a broken piece of a log. It complements the club she's hefting with her other hand. She's screaming something, her voice a thundering boom rolling past the male giant to the onlookers, though what she's saying isn't as important as the fact that it seems the plan worked.

Beads of sweat stand on Atoh's brow. She wants to wipe them but she can't move. The giant's gaze weighed heavily upon her. Then comes the rock. And another rock. Atoh recoils from the sound. She is stunned until Tola touches her shoulder and says."it works! Your plan works!" "O, of course it works." Atoh aims the blue arrow at female giant. When the two start hitting each, she will shoot the female and add fuel to the fight.
Ready Action: When the male giant hits back, Atoh will shoot the female giant. Longbow:Attack: 18 Damage: 11
The male giant roars in fury and hefts his club, taking aim at what was becoming the highest stakes domestic dispute ever. The seriousness of it all began to wane almost immediately as the male's tree caught the female in the face. Teeth the size of rocks went flying in all directions as the female screamed through a mouthful of blood and stumbled back, only for the male's second swing caught her in the jaw, knocking her out cold. Her body crumpled as she collapsed in front of him, first to her rump, then sprawling flat out. The male, still in a blood rage, raised his club and brought it crashing down one last time on her face, shattering her head in the process.
Brevon winces at the carnage then, seeing Orin reveal his location, jumps out from behind the tree. "Murderous beast!"he roars. He lifts his mace high over his head. "You shall reave no more!" The weapon flashes with white-hot light, the air around it shimmering. He leans back, then cleaves it forward. From its tip erupt three burning bolts of fire that fly toward the giant!
Jek is initially elated that there plan was successful. That quickly changed to horror at the brutality of the giants. Any one of those hit would turn him into a mush. This is not good, this is not good. They need to run, what are they even doing.
Then, he sees the bravery of his compatriots. One by one, seemingly without fear, they began attacking. These are the champions of the light, chosen by the Childlike Empress. Does he really belong in their company? He was ready to flee. Jek takes a deep breath. He was also chosen, he has a role to play. He needs to help these champions as best he can.
What to do, though. He would need to get closer if he wants to try to blind there foe. He could try to slow him with ice. Or he can wedge a shadow in his mind to cause pain and distraction.
There's no time, he needs to act now, or will he be a coward!
Jek steps out, forcing the heat from his hand until a blue-white light is left. And with a word "Lalscup" Jek fires a ray of frost at the giant.
Attack: 21 Damage: 3
Jek will then run back 30ft and pray that they survive.
Atoh was terribly shocked by the brutality of male giant. Something hits the wood that the girl is hiding. When she realizes it's a fragment of skull attached with bloody hair, Atoh almost screams and drops her bow.
But then she sees her friends attack the giant fearlessly. Even Jek, who is as small as she is, is fighting bravely. (They are heroes....) Atoh thinks. ( And I am among them ) She knows what she should do.
The girl steps out from her hiding place and shoots the giant brute with a red arrow. " You killed the wrong girl, idiot! "
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
If the arrow hits the mark, the magical tip will reproduce the recorded insults. Atoh snarls at the huge creature. " Now you understand who threw the stone! Come and get me if you can! " Withoutchecking if herprovocation works, Atoh runs away from the giant at full speed (90 +25 = 115 ft away from giant). She finds an enormous tree and hides behind it. (AC 17+2=19)
Persuasion: 18, 21 , Provoke the giant to chase and attack her. I think Atoh has the advantage to provoke the giant because she is the reason he killed his girlfriend.
There is a moment where the giant is clearly confused. It looks at it's dead mate in what is as close to colossal contemplation as it can manage, and then it was bombarded with arrows, rays, a javelin. The giant screams in hurt and anger as everything comes down at onc eon it, a ring of ice enshrouding its legs and slowing it as it turns to flee, even in the face of the insignificant little creature that is now rushing toward it. It lopes away, slowly, a javelin sticking from one thigh. It looks back over its shoulder in horror as it retreats twenty feet back the way it came with a limp.
"We cannot let it go. It will come back after we leave and attack the village". He charges forward with Drake (his steel defender). Dashing forward, both are able to close to melee range.

"Orin is right. We must not let it escape!" Brevon runs forward to stay within range. In his hands, the metal of his weapon glows a bright orange, yet he remains unaffected. Swinging the mace overhead, he releases three more rays of fire.
Brevon remains perfectly still and silent until there is a reason to do otherwise. (dodge action).

Chuba continues helping by translating what the giants say and suggesting the best insults based on the current moods of the giants.
She also performs the dodge action when able.
She is ready to fight should it come to that.
