Shavaris eventually cools down and takes stake of what is going on. She watches as Aoe heads to his horses, she finds Delph on Ward's shoulder and walks over asking if Delph wants to join her again. She lets Ward know that she is ready to head out, "Let's get our mounts to some stables that will still take them, it is pretty late and find an Inn. I'll meet you out by the mounts, do call if you need me though, I'll be here."
She then walks over to Kerwyn, puts her hand on his shoulder, "Aoe and I will be over by the mounts, let's find ol Iron Sides a place to rest for the rest of the night. Though, let me know and I'll stand beside you." She looks around for Johnathan but can't find him. She gets a bit worried and continues to look as she heads over to the mounts. "Well, Aoe, let's see what happens next."
Kerwyn was almost lost in the moment, the words from Shavaris bring him out of his thoughts and locked glare. He backs up, saying “Right, ole Ironsides. I gotta check on him!” keeping his gaze on the phony circus hucksters the entire time as he backs away. “I’m tired. Let’s get some shut eye.”

Johnathan gives the wizard a very cold look as he tries to hurt Delphinium. He will have them rest on his shoulder while in disguise. Let’s go little one, we need you to sleep this off. Johnathan hears Aoe’s message and agrees. These people may be charlatans but they didn’t deserve death. At least they lost out on any business in this area. Johnathan will take Delphinium back to the mounts where Shavaris, Kerwyn and Aoe were. It was rare for Johnathan to take such protective action for someone. After all he usually caused the trouble. But Delphinium reminds Johnathan of a child in a way, naive but innocent. Johnathan will respond to Aoe’s message
I agree, I inspected the unicorn cage and there was nothing in there. I think this whole show was a scam.
Johnathan gives a look around for Ward but doesn’t see him. He notices the Harpy was still in the cage but wasn’t sure what the plan was, if there was a plan at all. He will be nearby in case things go sideways.
Sitting on Johnathan's shoulder the tiny fairy agrees to go with them. After the disaster of a show the fairy was ready to find something new to do. Shavaris asks if Delph wants to join then but Delph says "I'm fine here. Johnathan has a good shoulder too and it could be insulting to him to leave after I just settled here. I'll use yours next though." They kind of lay down on their back on Johnathan's shoulder as they look up at all the spiraling colors. "Johnathan, you have a crown of yellow, orange and red. It's very pretty. Reminds me of autumn leaves." Delphinium seems really disappointed that the circus is over so soon. They really wanted to see more of it. There just too much for Delphinium to learn about big people and their lives. "Johnathan. Why do big people make things so complicated? Don't they want fun? Oh. Have you seen anymore of the nectarine?" Delphinium seems a bit interested in seeing the horses and ol' ironsides but they are just too unfocused as they still seem to be seeing hallucinations everywhere as they poke things in the air that only they can see.
When Ward wildshaoed into the warhorse and turned his rump on the cart containing the harpy it was already two late. The monster's muscles coiled like a hundred snakes preparing to strike, and in the instant that the horse's hoof shattered the lock, it began.
The harpy creature brought itself out of the cart in a powerful beat of its wings, shattering the swinging door as it forced its way out. A tail nearly ten feet long uncooked behind it, barbed withe a venom dripping stinger which it stuck in Ward's ribs as it went, wounding him and causing him to revert out of his wildshape as it went. It's wings unfolded to their full breadth in the second beat, a nearly twelve foot span pulling it out of the cart like it was propelled on a lightning bolt. It was incredibly fast. There were screams all around, and Mommy Baba began dropping orders immediately to her cadre of Thri-Kreen and Kobolds as the monster surged into the night sky where it's black form was nearly indiscernable...
"What the?! Was that Ward we heard and was that the... HARPY?!" she looks at Aoe with fear in her eyes and without waiting for an answer, kicks her elk in high gear as they dash into the fray. She sees Ward, badly hurt and the cage that has been torn apart. Not being able to reach Ward yet, she looks to the sky and in her astonishment, sees the creature responsible. More of a reaction than anything, she pulls out her shortbow and fires off an arrow.
When Ward notices Shavaris begin firing at the Harpy he will wave his hands and do a little X with them. Shouting in case they can hear “No! We’re all good, tail just slapped me on the exit.” Ward shouts

All hell breaks loose as battle lines are drawn and alliances crumble. The harpy thunders a roar overhead in murderous rage.
On the ground, the Thri-Kreen, apparently loyal to the lioness, run to her defense. The first takes a standing leap to its patronesses side, a spearlike weapon in two hands, a chakra style thrown weapon in a third hand. It looks up, trying to discern the location of the hunting horror.
Meanwhile, the Kobolds clearly favor their draconic cousin. When Shavaris fires an arrow three of them charge her, one on foot and two flying.

Delphinium was just laying back on Johnathan's shoulder at first but at the sounds of a harpy screech and shouts it quickly grabbed their attention. The not-harpy was loose! Delphinium knew Ward wanted to let it go and Delph watched as it flew up and watched carefully. Delphinium is a unique being. A fey raised in the wild and feywild with other fey. They have little concept of city culture, laws or even deception having been raised so closely to nature. As their mother would put it "We live in harmony with nature, in harmony with the elements, in harmony with the forest." Nature has two sides though. One side of peace, protection and prosperity and another side of hunting, hunger and hiding. Delph can see it. The look of a predator, the look of one seeking to eat... no... its worse then that. Delph sees it isn't hungry. It's hunting for pain. Whatever miserable thing has happened to the not-harpy it no longer seeks to be a part of nature. it doesn't want harmony. It seeks to kill and waste, to hurt and tear. The tiny fairy can clearly see it looking to hurt the circus performers and probably the spectators after..
As colors swirl and distract Delphinium they can still see what's going on but it seems its a bit hard for them to focus at the moment. Ward suddenly declares in a shout that it only "bumped" its stinger into them... A predator is always aware of its natural weapons. It must of done so on purpose. Delph shouts back at Ward "You idiot! Its driven mad with hate! It's going for anyone it can hurt!" the fairy then yells at the ringleader "Lion lady, watch its eyes! It's hunting! Let's get it back in it's cage before it can hurt anyone!" Delphinium then darts like a bolt of lightning to get within melee of the not-harpy and grab its attention. They dash right to them quickly closing a distance of 60 feet in the matter of a few seconds and blasting past the Harpy so that Delph gets right between the Harpy and where they are looking to dive at and cause carnage. The fairy does so by channeling their inner fury and spawning a set of many astral fists that looks more like the hands of a small giant. Delph gets within 10 feet of the harpy and unleashes their tiny fury the fists flying in multiple directions as they try to hit the harpy.

There is a screech overhead, a scream of bloodlust and anger. The Fairy notices it first; the Harpy's cry is little the warcry of a demonic eagle released from the deepest depths of Subternia. It streaks by Delphinium with its massive twelve foot wingspan beating, propelling it toward the surface in an obscenely fast descent. Its tail whips out as it flies by its prey and cracks the air over top of one of the Thri-Kreen protecting Mommy Baba, but mercifully misses. It banks hard, wings coming up to turn it in the air, and then lunges for the ringmaster, its taloned feet rocketing straight toward her. Mommy Baba shrieks back at the thing and stumbles but keeps on her feet, gripping the monsters legs as its claws shred into her thoracic cavity. She drops her whip, but holds tight to her dagger while the thing snarls and snaps and sinks its teeth into her face. She screams, its screams, and blood splatters the cobbles below, but Mommy Baba holds on tight to the thing, too afraid now to let go of it.
Two kobolds dash in. The first stabs one of the Thri-Kreen defending the ringmaster, but another Thri-Kreen jumps in to intervene. It tries to stab the harpy with its spear, but the weapon glances off its hard draconian armor. The other Kobold shouts something and clubs this new Thri-Kreen in the upper thigh.

Johnathan looks in horror at the battle in front of him. In but a few seconds so much has happened. The creature has a rage in its eyes, a bloodlust. What happens after the circus? You wizard! Do you have a spell to contain the creature? Johnathan shouts, hoping to find a way to stop this monsters murder spree.
The wizard does what he can to put out the flames. The fails around, fanning his robes and slapping them with his hands while trying to run away from the Kobold onslaught. He chants as he goes and presses hands to himself, activating mage armor...
Aoe watches as the chaos begins… he sighs and is happy to be on his horse… using the horses maneuverability (mount takes the dash action) Aoe rides forward 30ft into a center position between shavaris Johnathan and kerwyn, casting bless at second level on the three of them and himself before riding another 30ft back to collect his draft horse, the two mounts proceeding another 60ft into the distance away from the ruckus…

The fighting gets bloody within seconds as weapons are drawn and blows are thrown and landed. Slashes. Stabs. Cuts. The wagoneers decide that they've seen enough and depart the battlefield, scurrying for the cover of the wagons.
Another kobold dashes in to attack the Thri-Kreen defending the lioness and slices it with its sword a second before another Thri-Kreen leaps to its rescue and takes a bite out of its shoulder. Another kobold follows its brother and attacks the biting Thri-Kreen with a club, bashing its leg.
More Thri-Kreen leap in to save their master. One's spear attacks go wide, and then its friend ties to sink an attack with biting mandibles and swinging claws, but with no effect.
