OldMan is going to cast Chill touch rolled a 12+6 = 18. I assume that is good enough to hit. Only 3 damage points rolled but it is necrotic damage, it can't regain hit points until the start of your next turn. Until then, the hand clings to the target.
Jake counts down with his fingers and the group launches its assault on the goblin in a perfectly synchronized fashion. Jake, the dex save was 18, so that saves.
OldMan's chill hits the goblin, causing 3 points of damage.
I start whistling "The Final Countdown" from the back of the group as I call out platitudes of support: "Nearly showed him, Jake. He's feeling the chill now, OldMan!"
Bearkiller kneels to the ground to try and steady himself. He takes his bow and launches an arrow toward the Goblin. It strikes right through its neck and the Goblin falls backwards off the bridge. The group sees its lifeless body float past them in the stream. In Jotun (giant language) Bearkiller mutters "Farvel." (Goodbye)
"Galben, I think I'll take one of your torches now."
As the party reconvenes under the bridge and begins moving deeper into the cave, you round the bend toward the east into a new portion of the cave system. This cavern is half filled with two large pools of water. A narrow waterfall high in the eastern wall feeds the pool, which drains out the western end of the chamber to form the stream that flows out of the cave mouth below. Low fieldstone walls serve as dams holding the water in. A wide exit stands to the south, while two smaller passages lead west. The sound of the waterfall echoes through the cavern, making it difficult to hear.
Because you killed the sentry before he could warn the others in this cavern, you have the element of surprise. Galben is able to briefly peer around the corner of the steps leading up to this cavern and share what he sees with the group. How would you like to proceed?
Thallan, hearing the stifled yelp, lunges around the corner closing upon the meager creature, dropping his flashing blade down upon the green skin, (HD 18+6=24, Dam 2+6=8)
OldMan casts firebolt at Goblin 2 (17+6=23 to hit) (d10 rolled a 7 for damage).
OldMan utters the last incantations of his spell with his hands raised high. The bolt of fire flies over Thallan's head, over the now crumpled carcass of Goblin 1 and smashes full on into Goblin 2's face. His skin and hair burst into a fireball of burning flesh. The Goblin tries to scream in pain but as it inhales, the oxygen fuels the fire more and he is extinguished (pun intended) as he falls dead.
OldMan says disgustingly "I didn't know they could smell worse."
If there is time OldMan, knowing he is of no use for a few precious seconds steps aside into the creek behind the rock by Galben to allow other fighters to the front to face the reinforcements that are sure to come after Goblin 3 escaped.
As Goblin 2 falls in a pile of ash and sinew, the party is no longer in combat, making quick work out of the immediate threat. Waiting for a moment, you all sense that no additional Goblins are rushing at you at this moment. How would you all like to proceed? You could either regroup and make chase after Goblin 3, pursuing up the stairs to the south, or you could move on to the west across the bridge.
Hey, lets not forget what the goblin told us, "I've only been 'ere a few days and 'aven't seen much of the cave. I know there are several rooms, the firs' one in 'ere has our pets, 3 wolf. But they's chained up, they are - can't get to you unless you go in the room. Jus' wouldn't goad them on though. The 'eating alcove is in to the left, but there's a very steep dangerous passage up to it from the main path, wouldn't try it unless you're light on your feet. You can follow the path up to the right and use the bridge, but there are most certainly more of us along the path. Klarg is likely at the end of the main path in a corner room further along from where you get on the bridge."
Jake moves to Galben, gently grabbing him by the arm. "You need the light of Ilmater to help guide you. Please take his light with you into this confrontation." I cast Guidance on Galben to assist with his next action. Jake then waits until the party passes, staying at the rear.

Thallan peers into the left tunnel, (Perception 1+3). Gazing deep into the abyssal darkness... and the darkness gazing back.
I start whistling "The Final Countdown" from the back of the group as I call out platitudes of support: "Nearly showed him, Jake. He's feeling the chill now, OldMan!"
(Galben moves out from behind the bridge and nocks an arrow, he has a look at the back of the goblins head)
(attack roll 3+5=8) (His arrow flies by the goblins head and hits the top of the cave)
OldMan makes a mental note to have Jake do some healing to Galben's eyes. Clearly the elf is partially blind.

15 to hit, 7 damage
Grabbing a nearby loose rock to hold in my hand while focusing my amulet around my neck, I cast Light, illuminating the cave walls around us.
"Let there be light. Shall we press on?" Passes the now illuminated rock to Bearkiller.
(Galben decides to try and move behind the next rock using the sound of the moving water as an advantage)
(Stealth Roll 4+5=9)
Thallan readies himself to close with Goblin 1, should Galben's flanking maneuver draw attention, (as long as I hit, I 1 shot these goblins.)

(Galben turns to the group)

Turning to Galben, "Indeed. I suspect Klarg is lurking around this cavern somewhere. That third goblin looked in a hurry to retreat into the shadows."
