Goblin Boss's Turn (What?!)
In the midst of your fighting, you hear a deep shout from the back of the cave: "Stop!" Glancing to the raised area in the back, you can see a different goblin approaching the ledge. He's larger and looks threatening and scarier than the rest. He's also grappling a very wounded Sildar Hallwinter.
"Truce!" he shouts to you all. "Or the man dies."
Sildar appears to be in a critical condition, and taking any more damage would most likely render him unconscious.
The goblin leader is going to hold his action until he sees any of you try to attack him or his allies, or try anything "clever" in general. (Just for reference, he holds Sildar before him almost like a shield. That is at least half cover. Also, Teslyn and Duncan can't see him from their spots, but can hear him.)

Teslyn moves up next to Maris [[L26]] where she can see Sildar and the goblin, saying, "A truce, you can have for now, but your fate is pretty well tied to the health of your captive." If needed, Intimidation: 22.

Sildar, on the other hand, very weakly protests: "Don't trust him..."

Duncan approaches behind Lillian and Tessa Heavy crossbow at the ready to take out the Goblin Boss while a circle around them to C26 I whisper behind the two of you "Do you have any sort of healing capabilities or a plan of sorts? I got a clean shot. If not I think I may be able to stabilize him nonetheless these goblins are not to be trusted."

"I am not really a healer. I am not sure we need to trust him, as we have the upper hand. If he kills Sildar, we kill him. He is outnumbered and he knows it. We also have the option of telling Klarg about the offer he just made. I say we ask him to release Sildar and he has our word that we will help with his Klarg situation -- as I assume we would rather this bugbear die than keep attacking folks on the road. Hopefully, he is smart enough to know that our word is more reliable than his. We could also let him hold the information on what happened to Gundren hostage until we deal with Klarg."

”I can heal, even the seriously wounded.” Tessa whispers back, eyeing the captive man. “Just as long as the goblin doesn’t kill him - death is beyond my skills.”
The goblin’s offer is something to be considered. Getting rid of the bugbear leader would be best. Who knows how many travelers this gang would otherwise capture. But would the goblin honor the deal?

Duncan hesitates while staring down the Goblin Boss but upon glancing at Sildar again he seems to find a inner resolve and takes a shot.

The crossbow bolt flies by his ear and ends up hitting one of the cave walls.
"You fools," the goblin boss says. He shoves Sildar over the ledge as part of his held action.
