He exits the wolf room and waves his hands beckoning Duncan to come with him and he heads towards the group.
"Right. Well, there's a bugbear, four wolves, and two or so goblins that way. Also no human. Looks like our goblin friend was truthful about that. Sildar is not that way best I can tell."
"I believe it to be better that way. Would rather not be between a bugbear and a ledge." Gesturing to Maris, Duncan starts to cross the river trying to be quiet "Come now Maris, lets look a little more ahead. The rest of you stay a little behind"
Duncan seems to be much more on edge while in the hideout. Though every time he starts to break character and start looking like he's real nervous you see him take a deep breath and steady his nerves while gripping his crossbow a little tighter. "Just a small Goblin hideout... ... ... Only 20 goblins.... I hope. " Duncan mutters quietly to himself.
"You still behind me Maris?" Duncan looks back quickly seeking affirmation
Hearing the interest for Yondalla's blessing fills Tessa with joy. She joins hands with Lillian, and sings a short hymn for her goddess. And the goddess answers, and suddenly there is nothing to be afraid of in the darkness ahead. What ever the darkness hides, is now reveal to the faithful.

(OOC: now...)
Tessa follows the others to the den of wolves, and waits for Maris to return. "A bugbear? Could it be that 'Klarg' the goblin mentioned? I heard they are quite dangerous - best be careful," she whispers.
And as instructed, she'll stay a bit behind as Duncan and Maris lead further into the cave.
As you continue the expedition, you observe that the main passage from the cave mouth climbs steeply upward, the stream plunging and splashing down its west side. In the shadows, a side passage leads west across the other side of the stream.
In the shadows of the ceiling to the north, you can just make out the dim shape of a rickety bridge of wood and rope crossing over the passage ahead of you.
From this point onward it gets pretty dark, but thanks to Tessa you can still make out some details without a light source. You can continue going upward with the stream for now, or try investigating the western passage.
(I know the map looks like it might be well lit, but in the adventure, it isn't.)
"Path on the left or follow the stream? I prefer to know what's behind us so I'd say follow the path on the other side of the stream then following up the stream"
The western pathway is a dark and tight corridor ending in a slope of gravel and dust. It looks very unstable, so everyone who wishes to climb it must try an Acrobatics check.
He successfully climbs the slope and finds that the path forks again.
The right path you believe will lead to the wooden bridge you saw earlier, while from the left path you can hear goblin voices and can also see a bit of orange light.
Maris is going to reach into his backpack and pull out the hatchet and adze from his Carpenter's tools. Thinking he could use them to stick into the loose gravel and help climb, but he sees Duncan at the top before he has the chance to try

He may still attempt an Acrobatics or Athletics check if he wishes to climb still.
"How are we going to know if anything happens to them way back here? I think we should at least proceed to the spot where they crossed the river. Wait here for a moment though."
Lillian runs back to the field and picks up the goblin that Duncan felled. She brings it back in case the wolves are still hungry.
Seeing that Maris will be waiting back I advance alone towards the goblin voices sneaking and attempting to only look so far in to see how many goblins there are

Duncan sneaks around on the left path and he sees a campfire by which 5 goblins are resting. He also spots some steps leading to a larger area in the back, but that's as much as he can see.

He successfully descends back to Duncan.
"What is it, what did you see?"
He exits the wolf room and waves his hands beckoning Duncan to come with him and he heads towards the group.

Maris blinks his eyes for a moment as the blessing takes hold.
"I prefer the more rugged paths anyway. I agree, let's cross.
