"The way I see it, we beat you and your friends pretty handily, and how much is it going to hurt to just confirm you are working out of the Sleeping Giant? We can let you skip town so you don't have to worry about reprisals from your friends, or sharing their fate,"
[[I suppose it's intimidation using charisma as I'm just talking. Roll: 23]]
[[Sorry for my absence.]]
"Easy there. Yes, we're um... we got a nice spot in the Sleeping Giant. You're right. Can't we be more amiable?"

Lillian tries to use her investigative skills to put two and two together. She turns to their captive and says.
"Correct me if I am wrong. You and your crew came to this town because you saw it as a soft target where you could set up operations and take control. You are not yet fully established and you confine your violent behavior to strangers and new comers to give the locals a false sense of security. You also attack groups like ours to get rid of any competition that might be able to fight back. How am I doing so far? What I don't understand is why here and why now? Surely there is not enough wealth in this village to make it worth your while. Who is your leader, and what have they promised you to convince you to risk life and limb to be part of their crew?"

"Yes, well... You're already defeated. The sooner you tell us what we what to know, the sooner you get to a more comfortable cell with food and water," Tessa says, finally joining the conversation. "Sleeping Giant. That's a start. We'll go and check there."
"Redbrands, that's what you call yourselves, right? Lillian here asked you about your numbers and leader. Would you be so kind and answer her?"

"Look. It's just business, ok? That's just how business goes. We get our bread... through our ways. Just like everyone else does. We are just told to stir up the things once in a while..."

"Hah. No way in hell, sis," he says. "No disrespect, but you should leave this interrogation business to someone else."
Glancing around at the party, Maris says, "The Sleeping Giant it is then."
Looking back down to the ruffian, "Look, I'm not really happy we had this little talk. When you wake up, go anywhere but here. The next time we see each other will be the last time."
Maris will pull his head up by the hair and slam his head into the ground, knocking him out.
"Probably would have been useful to know who it is that is telling them to stir things up, but no matter. We know where these guys congregate, but do you think it makes sense to charge in the front door?"
"It could be difficult to do anything if we keep getting attacked in the street. We haven't even been here a full day yet. We should at least scout out their den so we have a better idea of what we're dealing with."
"I agree with Maris, we should deal with these ruffians first. It's not just us - they're terrorising everyone in the town,"Tessa says. She looks down at the unconscious Rebrand, not sure how she should feel.
"Let's go to the Sleeping Giant. We can decide our approach once there."
The Sleeping Giant is a ramshackle taproom at the east end of town. Four human ruffians linger on the covered porch, perched on empty ale barrels or leaning against the wall. They are all wearing grimy scarlet cloaks and seem to be bored.
They don't seem to have taken notice of you just yet, but might soon.
"Scarlet cloaks... All right, this is the place." Tessa notes. She gives a thought to Maris' plan, and shrugs. "If you are willing to put yourself to risk, then sure. We can wait behind the corner over there."She points towards a nearby alley.
Before proceeding, the cleric touches Maris' arm gently, uttering a prayer.
(Maris gets Vigilant Blessing - advantage on the next initiative roll)
Once the group has taken position, Maris will pull out his flute, and position his coins to be extra jingly. He'll play his flute, badly. A discordant melody echoing down the street, and he'll go down the street, toward the Sleeping Giant.

Seeing the group of Ruffians, Maris holds stomach where he was wounded earlier today.
"I'm pretty quick. What if I try to lure away a couple of them into a nearby alley, where the rest of you wait for an ambush?"
