Gelin again assaults the goblin on the left with the magical words designed to harm the mind. 18. This time the goblin is ready for a similar style of assault and is able to ward off the damage.
The last wolf snaps out again at Carodoc, leaving a clean opening for Cyrnair. The emasiated wolf head comes off cleanly as the large angel born brings his sword down.
Seeing the rest of his compatriots and pets go down the last Goblin hips in fear and takes off running down the hallway yipping down the tunnel. Before it runs it launches an arrow at Cyrnair. Attack: 18 Damage: 3(Uses nimble escape dash action to get 60 feet away.)
The way I read it, it seemed like the goblin is running back deeper INTO the cave, not trying to run past us to get out of it. So no AoO's I would think. Also remember that the goblins held back a short distance behind the wolves, so they would not be in melee range to begin with.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Yep that would make more sense but I don’t recall other exit of the cave but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exit though, I can be wrong or maybe we didn’t see it when we started. In any case the rolls don’t bother and save us time in case we have the attack.
On the other hand, the exact same rolls? Twice? I used this two last times the tab combat on the dice roller... Let’s check here at least to satisfy my curiosity and with no relevance to the game for this rolls
(Each square is 10 feet, so only 2 wolves can get in there to attack as you are still in the chokepoint of the cave at this point
OOC: I am sorry if I did not explain it well enough. If you look at the map, you were heading north, coming up from the south. To the east (right) of you, the cave forked. There was the right chamber, and heading Northward. The goblins and wolves came from this chamber to the east. The goblin is now fleeing to the north deeper into the cave. There was not any AoO. The map image is accurate. It is from the adventure guide, so you can use it as canon.
IN Game: The Eldritch Blast slams into the fleeing goblin, burning away its tattered clothing after hitting Cyrnair with his bow.
OOC: Crap - if they're 60ft away, I can't see them. So much for surprise.
Caradoc darts up to check the body of the fallen goblin, sheathing his blades on the way. After searching the body, he picks up the goblin's quiver of arrows and slings it over his shoulder.
"What next, gang?" he whispers as he readies his shortbow.

Lol, I understand. I was thinking about our options as well, and really it comes down to the fact that you don't have darkvision, so even giving chase wouldn't be helpful.
Shame him with your vicious mockeries, o noble dwarven bard!

(OOC: LOL. I love this group =) You guys are a great cast of characters.)
Carodoc, you find 17 arrows and a bow that is ROUGH! it is barely a bow. You also find 8 coppers and rusty dagger.
(Morgan you are up if you want to act. The goblin is about 60 feet away from you now (It was further behind the wolves, but it ran laterally which ate up some movement. With 30 feet of movement you would still be in range. Do you have a light source? (I Forgot... If so, what is its range? You may be at disadvantage if you try to attack it depending. Gelin, you should be able to get in range with an attack and still be able to see it, and I am not sure about Cyrnair either. After you guys go, the goblin will be well out of range unless you dash pursue.)

(OOC: Morgan then Cyrnair)
Morgan reaches out to break the mind of the injured goblin. Toll the Dead Wisdom Save DC14. Damage: 10
Following that she'll project to the others, *Don't kill the last one unless it tries to run.*
Finally, she'll fix her eyes on the as-yet uninjured goblin.
*We come seeking captured friends and to deal with this Scaled One that troubles you. Help us and you may yet live.*
1 the goblin hears the sound and dies suddenly, rotting froth flowing from its ears.
(Cyrnair is up.)
OOC: One wolf and one goblin left correct?
The paladin takes advantage of the attack of the remaining wolf to the halfling and slash the predator aiming for the exposed neck of the creature.
(AttackAttack: 25 Damage: 8
PbP Character: A few ;)

No wolves left, 1 fleeing goblin
Froxori’s turn.
Frixori fires another eldritch blast in the hopes of permanently stopping the fleeing goblin before it can get to what she assumes to be her friends.
Attack 19, Damage 5
The arrow finds its target in one of the paladin’ s legs but it barely cuts the paladin instead of perforing the muscle.
Ooc: Cynair is right on the entrance of the cave, does not have him an attack of opportunity when the goblin rushes away? And Carodoc?
In case they has: Attack: 20 Damage: 8)
PbP Character: A few ;)

OOC: Can't you still attack, but just at disadvantage? Thing is almost dead. Any hit should bring it down.
