As Flint tries to avoid the incoming barrage of bolts in his direction, he laughs at the futile attempts. "Hahaha... Is that the best you can give!" he says taunting the shimmering ones below. When the last one finds its mark in his leg, the cleric bites his upper lip with a growl and jerks the arrow out. Assessing his wounds, he administers a spell to at stave off any excessive loss of blood. 

    "Be careful out there, Ennis. They're just waiting for us to poke our heads out." 

Cyrnair uses his action to disengage, and fly up the stairwell to try and create a choke point with Carodoc. With it only being 3 feet wide at the top of the stairs, Carodoc and Cyrnair can hold them there as long as they can.

Ky is up.

Ky will draw to more arrows and release them at the hordes of shiny people. "As bad as the war against the shadow elves if I have ever seen one."

Ky fires 2 arrows with keen accuracy. The first arrow catches 1 in the throat and it falls down the stairs, dead. The 2nd arrow slams into one of the shimmering creatures in the side.

Four big people stomping around one halfling... Perfect opportunity to slip away! Caradoc muses. As a scimitar whooshes past him, he ducks out (Disengage as a bonus action) between two of the shimmerfolk and shuffles back to stand beside Cyrnair." I thought I said get out of here! You're bleeding even out of your frozen places!!"

He readies a stab at the first creature who moves into range. He calls out to the upstairs enemies, "Wow, you guys should be mad! Look at all your buddies standing around down there doing nothing while we're up here killing you guys all over the place!"

Carodoc's blade sinks deeply into the torso of the one of the injured shimmering humanoids. As Carodoc pulls the blade free, it collapses to the ground dead. Standing back to back against Cyrnair, he readies for the onslaught. At his words, Carodoc can see a level of glazed over fanaticism in their eyes. You get the feeling they are either being controlled, or religious zealots.

The 2 Dragonborn seeing Ennis face pop out from the portal throw the last of their 3 javelins at him, even with the partial cover.

Ennis is hit by both Javelins as they are thrown at him. 3 arrows also slam into his form (Take damage off Arcane shield and if you use Reaction. you can flavor that in your post), taking a total of 33 damage (8+9+8+5+8)

Carodoc takes 2 nicks from the Scimitar, taking a total of 7 damage. The creature that rushes Ky swings wide, and Ky is able to dance out of the way of the strike.

Cyrnair takes another 6 points of damage as the Drake bites into his form.

Gelin is up.

After seeing the Spectator join the fray in some manner, he drops the grate, allowing it to slam closed, hoping to draw the attention of the small army towards the creature. He then begins to make his way around towards the large hole left by the dragon. (Going through the hole as far as normal movement will allow)

As the javelins and arrows come flying at him, Ennis again reacts with his Shield, mostly in an attempt to shore up his ward a bit more.  Unfortunately the shield itself actually does little for him as both javelins and two of the arrows still manage to bypass it.  His ward does mitigate some of the damage however (12 total, the 10hp that remained from last round and the 2hp gained from casting shield this round), and the Shield does block the final arrow, so Ennis manages to only take 18 of the possible 38 damage.

Considering his max Hp is only 37, I'll take it.

Ennis quickly leans back into the rope-space, grimacing and looking rather worse-for-wear than he would have hoped, bleeding from multiple places where the arrows and javelins got past his defenses.

"Maybe that wasn't the best of ideas..."

He cringes, clutching at his arm where an arrow grazed its length leaving a long gash, and looks to Flint.

"You wouldn't happen to have a spare potion or anything I can use, huh?"

I don't think Ennis has any potions of his own, as I don't have any marked in his inventory.  Seems like quite the oversight on my part...

If Flint has one to spare, Ennis will use his turn to get that from and take it, but even if Flint doesn't, Ennis is NOT poking his head back out there again just yet.  Not with his ward fully depleted and rapidly running out of spell slots.

     Flint shakes his head, "I don't... It seems we came rather unprepared. Probably best to hold off until some of them get distracted elsewhere." Then seeing the dwarf appear out by the dragon, he lets out another belly laugh. "Well, that may be sooner than later. Would you look at that," he says pointing in Gelin's direction. "Our little dragon slayer..."

"Uggh" groans the paladin and shakes his leg making the drake to get off him " At least " he says to Caradoc " I didn't rush in this time...  and I am not going to let you die alone"

"I'm not gonna die alone, dummy - look at all these bodies! And anyway, I'm the fastest one in this whole group! I'll just trip one of y'all and run on my merry way!"

The paladin can't help but smile despite the pain of his wounds.

Ennis groans a bit when he looks through the portal to see Gelin.

"I hope he knows what he's doing..."

5 wisdom save. 18 what the Spectator will do...

Gelins magical attack is just resisted by the shimmering figures. Their fanatical glazed eyes seem to have some extra resistance. They whip there heads over the Gelin standing next to the Spectator and see an easier target to attack.

"You hear the rough sounding voice of the Spectator say, "No... no I will not! This is the time to drive them out. Now go!"

The 4 rubbery figures go to attack the 2 dragonborn

 1 of the shimmering figures is locked in place and considered stunned until it can break free. Another shimmering figure takes 4 damage of force damage.

     Seeing their new ally attack with all with all its numbers, Flint hopes its enough of a distraction to allow him to throw a quick heal to the paladin, "Stay strong, Cyrnair! The Huntress will see us through this!" 

(Bonus Action: Healing Word 6, +3 to that so (10) total for Cyrnair)

    With his spell on its way, the cleric turns to face the onslaught of arrows. He grits his teeth, gets his shield out in front of him, and yells a threat as their foes, "You better hurry up and finish us if you're going to!"
