Grim sighs, "Yeah. I know. The Ten Towns are always in turmoil, but now more than most times. Hopefully the others who came will be willing to help in other towns as well."
Darby will join in on the celebrations to learn more about the attitude of the people, only drinking a bit. He will listen to some discussions about the future of the town and the next possible leaders but adds no opinion due to his lack of information. "I see no reason not to continue with such tasks. I still have unfinished business to take care of in the towns if not the Dale."
Overhearing the comments about tasks, Ghathi asks Hlin. "Do you know of any other tasks that we might look into? While I wouldn't mind settling in here - or somewhere - I wouldn't mind keeping busy either."
"Yes, more tasks sounds like a good idea." Sarya says, nodding and smiling at the others. "I would get so restless just trying to settle down I think. Also I wouldn't mind visiting the other towns."She says with some excitement.

"Not really...whatever I could've heard a couple of weeks ago may be pointless to share today, but you shouldn't let that stop you. Bryn Shander is the closest town - besides Dougan's Hole but you already know that's just a dead end - it should take you about 6 hours walking, now, they are a bit more reckless about Auril's demand though you might found that town more welcoming when it comes to accomodations" says Hlin
Sarya ponders if the team could make it to Bryn Shander today, and if so, how soon they would have to depart from Goodmead. "Bryn Shander sounds good. That was the town we passed through on our way here right?" She says, looking up at Ghathi beside her. "Perhaps we could sell the stuff in that basket, possibly we could afford a sled and some dogs?"She adds after a while.
Tysris turns toward the discussion and says “I would like to head back to Bryn Shander, I can check in with Aleppo and tell him I’m still alive! He wanted me to bring him some mead, but I think if there are other things that we could do together, to earn some coin..” He pauses for a bit, thinking things over, looking into his hands. “I’d like to stay working with you fellas if you’d have me, instead of Aleppo. I just … feel better about it. Someone saves your life.. you sort of want to stay with them, if you know what I mean.” Tysris takes a big gulp of mead and looks around with a toothless grin.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"Bryn Shander sounds like a place to start. I've mostly just gone where I was needed and thought I could help. It might be worth taking a bit of a rest here and head out in the morning though (assuming it's night). If we can afford it, I think you're right too, about the dogs and a sled. Definitely makes it quicker to get from place to place, especially in this neverending winter night," offers Grim.
((you would be able to find someone willing to rent a sled and a couple of dogs for a discounted rate we could explore that option further if you'd like))
Ghathi follows up with Hlin, "What do you mean that Bryn Shander is 'a bit more reckless about Auril's demand'? Is there something we should be worried about?"
He then looks at Sarya, "I suppose we could try a sled. I'm not sure though, it would probably take a whole team of dogs to just pull me around." He sounds skeptical that it would be a good idea. "Maybe to carry gear I guess."
"If we had more coin to work with I would suggest hiring at least two dog sleds but if we are tight on coin then perhaps one is good. If need be shifts for riding can be set up." Darby suggests, seemingingly pleased that they would be heading to the largest of the towns.
You arrived to Goodmead somewhere around 4 hours after midday, the celebrations and organizing the dogsleds that you wanted to rent would take you all the way to somewhere around 6 pm, however, there's only around 4 hours of sun light so it's dark by now.
Dogsleds would take you to Bryn Shander in 3 hours
((Sled dogs must take a short rest after pulling a sled for 1 hour; otherwise, they gain one level of exhaustion.))
Dwalt nods and takes a sip of his drink and heads home. "Yer welcome ta stay at my house if'n ya have a need." he calls back as he heads out. Dwalt heads home and lights a fire once he gets there. He will quietly sing a dwarven song of passing for Kendrick hen get some sleep.
"Stay and have another mug of mead and I'll promise to be a good girl and get to bed early." Sarya says smiling to Ghathi. Unless anything interesting comes up she will however join Ghathi back to Dwalt's place fairly soon to get some rest before they leave for Bryn Shander in the morning.
"Thanks for having us another night Dwalt."She says as she enters Dwalt's cabin, trying to find herself a good spot to rest for the night, then dreaming of a bed with clean sheets.
Tysris tags along with Sarya and Ghathi, resting up for the upcoming trip. His mood is good and he’s whistling a little tune as he walks with them and softly snores as he falls asleep, dreaming of large mugs of mead…

"Bryn Shander ain't that far fer a walk. If'n we set out first thin in tha mornin' we can be there while there's still daylight."
OCC: Does Dwalt know the price of a dog and sled?
"Sure, but why walk if you can ride in a sled?" Sarya says with a smile. "Also if we get oursleves a sled we could perhaps make it there today right?"
