After mingling around with some people in the bar for a while, telling them about the team's recent adventures and having a few laughs, Sarya too returns to Ghathi with another glass of red wine just as Tysris speaks up. "Lonelywood? I just heard that a gang of kobolds has taken over a gem mine in Termalaine and there's a reward for chasing them away. Now I think Termalaine is on the way to Lonelywood so perhaps we should head north tomorrow, first taking care of kobolds in Termalaine and then go moose-hunting in Lonelywood?"Sarya enthusiastically suggests to the others at the table.
(Dwalt and Darby has gone to their rooms I think, I suppose Grim is at the table?)
"I'd heard someone speak of vandals in Caer-Konig. But that's not exactly the same direction as the other two towns. I agree, we should check out Termalaine and then Lonelywood. A good plan." Ghathi says. His meal finished, he sits back enjoying his drink. "Do we rest tonight and go early tomorrow?" he asks.
"Well my vote is on staying another night in warm beds here at the Nothlook before going tomorrow morning, you never know how accommodations will be in Termalaine and Lonelywood right?" Sarya says to the others at the table. "Anyway, time for a hot bath to get that chill out of my body again." She says, ready to move upstairs.
Before taking that bath she would knock on Dwalt's door to collect her share of the reward.
"I think we've certainly learned that your vote will always be for whatever involves a hot bath, Sarya." Ghathi jokes. "I suppose I will retire for some rest as well, but we should get on the move early so we can maximize any daylight.'
Sarya seems to pout at Ghathi's joke at first but then she giggles. "Alright, so I care a little more about hygiene than the rest of this ragtag band, and I wouldn't want that fire going inside me to be quenched completely by the bitter cold of this dale."She says with a warm smile, then turning to head upstairs.
Darby will take his rest, agreeing to go to Termalaine once he hears about the gem mines in the morning. His inner merchant quickly came up with ideas to possibly get stakes in the mine and make money while still hunting for his stolen goods.
Sarya too would take the rest of the day off, first relaxing in her hot bath, then resting a while in her room, taking a short walk around Bryn Shander in the afternoon, asking if anyone would join her, then eating, drinking and mingling with the other guests at the Northlook in the evening, finally having a good nights rest, getting up fairly early to have a hearty breakfast before readying herself to head off to Termalaine to go kobold hunting. "Ready everyone?" She says coming down from her room again, dressed for the cold of Icewind dale.
After distribution of the pay, Dwalt gets a night's sleep. Waking in the morning and upon finding out about the party's plan to go kobold hunting for Termalaine, he'll ready himself for the trip. He does seem excited for the prospect of a moose hunt as well.
Tysris is rested and ready to go, agrees with the plan to head to Termalaine and then on to Lonelywood. He waits for you the next morning, up early and prepared to go.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The next morning, people at the dinning area of the Northlook looked tired, both patrons and workers, at one table a man drinks and is way drunk by know as if he spent the whole night drinking.
Whenever you show up to eat some breakfast or go, you are greeted by the barmaid but it feels off, asi if the greeting wasn't as genuine as it was previous days. Though all of this would cause a general odd feeling, the outsiders would notice that Grimm and Dwalt showed a similar demeanor, just less strong.
The night before was full moon. And as you may remember those nights people from ten-towns will offer their sacrifices to the god Auril. The way out to Termalaine is the same used before (when you went looking for the sled) the north exit, so you wouldn't see any evidence of the sacrifice made to frost maiden on your way out.
As Sarya realizes a sacrifice has been made last night to the Frost Maiden she too gets a bit more somber than her usual chirpy self. She feels strongly that something should be done about these sacrifices but she has absolutely no idea what. She is taking the lead out of the West Gate towards Termalaine, somewhat relieved that it would be another 30 days til the next sacrifice.
(If okay Sarya would have purchased an axebeak steed with a saddle somewhere in Bryn Shander the afternoon before while taking a walk.)
Ghathi is up early, ready to go. After a quick breakfast he is ready to go. He notes the silence of the townsfolk this morning, so does his best to keep relatively silent himself.
((No problem considering that anyone interested in getting an axe beak did it the night before. As a reminder they can carry 420 lb and cost 55 including the basic saddle.))
In order to reach Termalaine you'll need to exit Bryn Shander from the western gate and after a little while turn north. The whole distance is normally travelled by foot in 6 hours, but those riding axe beaks will get there in just 3 hours. ((will you press forward or simply ride at their pace?))
Sarya at least would keep the walking Ghathi company, reckoning they were not in a hurry with reaching Termalaine. She has some difficulties at first handling her Axebeak mount Snowstrider, but after repeatedly creating illusions of an Axebeak snack further down the trail to Termalaine she eventually gets the gist of it.

Before going to bed, Grim will create several Goodberry(s) in preparation for the next days travel. And before setting out the next day, Grim will cast Speak with Animals as a ritual and talk to each of the Axe Beaks in advance. In particular, asking if they have any names that they prefer to be called, if they have any other preferences, and asking them to let him know if they have an injury, pain, or rough spot so he may help them. With that, he will give each a goodberry, and ride along with the others.

"I fine, I Burker. You ride?" Says Sarya's Bird, as it made eye contact with Grimm and turned its head about 45° each time it was about to say something. Burker looked excited and ready to go. "huh?! you talk to Beaker?" The bird stares defiantly at Grimm "Beaker good to go, beaker strong" This one was Dwalt's bird "Rawrk! Me good, me ready..let'ssssss go" You cuould've sweared that this bird had a lisp.

Tysris readies the equipment on his axebeak that he purchased and pats it, giving it a good rub. “What’s your name? We’ll have a good trip, yeh? You look so strong!” He straightens the saddle and makes ready to leave.

After spending some time with the birds and Grimm establishing a nice bond with them, you start riding towards Termalaine ((Not sure if anyone else got an axe beak, but if you did just let me know and we can learn its name or assign one))
The road is very easy to follow even when riding after the daylight is gone, the whole trip is completed in six hours walking. Considering that the Axe Beaks travelled in a very relaxed pace they aren't tired (but they do require to eat and drink) by the time you reach the town.
As you get there you can see why Termalaine is widely regarded as the most picturesque town in Icewind Dale, spreading out from the shore of Maer Dualdon and bordered on the north and west by tall pines. Its buildings incorporate carvings of wizards, homunculi, tigers, and smiling djinn. At the entrance you are stopped by a guard but far less inquisitive that those stationed in Bryn Shander.
