Ghathi comes over, kneeling down by Tysris. "I can heal you a bit," he says. He says a brief prayer to Ilmater and touches his shoulder, casting Cure Wounds for 5 hp.
The rest of the area looks safe, the connection with the main shaft that goes all the way down to the underdark could've allowed this creature to emerge after a while, but the climb was very high and there isn't enough incentive to go up, so it seemed like a rare occurrence.
((if you decide to go back and take Trex with you, you can do so)) Trex will go willingly and just communicate some instructions to the kobolds in the mine "don't follow me, I'll be back. We will help the miners and get a place to rest and eat."
“Let’s haul that foul thing back to show them in Termalaine, what do you think?” Tysris thanks Ghathi for the healing. He hefts his pick axe, “Trex, have you found any good gem deposits? Any way I could swing a pick axe instead of a war axe for a minute?”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"I think Speaker Masthew mentioned coming here to check the place out so I don't think we have to haul that...thing anywhere thankfully. And I'm not sure the Speaker would appreciate us taking gems from their mine, but I won't tell." Sarya says with a smile.

"Certainly, just before exiting the mines is a spot you wouldn't want to miss, the miners left their tools behind so you can help yourself and try your luck. We've been wanting to wait until everything is clear."
((I believe it took 30 minutes to reach the mine, so you may roll a 1d6 for the time Tysris will try his luck at the gem deposits. the result is 10 minutes mining. So there's a chance that you spend a whole hour. After that you can roll 1d100 to determine what you found after that time. In game I guess you'll see the area and decide that the gem deposits are solid, there's is something and assuming that you get a 6 on the first roll, Tysris will keep getting fractured pieces and feel that he is close to getting something...- But in the end the 1d100 determines what you get. So, the only resource invested here is time))
"So, it is of course both interesting and entertaining to watch you hack away with that pickaxe Tysris but would you mind terribly if I took Trex back to town now?" Sarya says with a smile and a wink.
Tysris heads to the best looking vein that he saw, also asking Trex his input. He breaks out his pick axe and strikes at it.

After 30 minutes you managed to get a pebbled sized Tourmaline ( 1 gp)
After a while you return to Termalaine and Trex follows you without any issues, he would walk calmly. Oarus was waiting at the same place where you met him.
Tysris is grumpy after his meager findings in the mine. He chops off a tentacle to put in his backpack for “proof” to Speaker Mashtew that they cleared the mine. As he’s walking back toward the entrance with the others, he says to Trex, “Measly little gem, hardly worth one gold. Are you holding out on me? Have you kept all of the good sites to yourself? Have you already found all of the gems, are they in your pack there? Spill the beanth!” Walking along, grumpy dwarf glowering at Trex.

"Take your greedy eyes away from my pack, I'm not sure what you expected...a mine takes time to mine, that is widely known. I've heard adventurers often want everything done fast and immediate, most of us in the real world will have to spend time with research, looking for funds, running an investigation, failing, trying again, losing every funds and then look for some more. For some it takes years to even call an endeavor succesful... but others just hack and slash their way to fame and riches I suppose." -
"Tha lack of success in yer greed got ta ya Tysris?" Dwalt asks casually. "Tha kobold's right. Tha earth only give it's bounty ta those that pay homage ta it." Dwalt spends his time looking for the right wood and materials to make a Holy Symbol.
“True, true. Your words are true. I just… thought of what it would be like to mine again.” Tysris pauses as they are walking, dropping the mining pick. He looks back to Trex. “What adventurers have you known, Trex? Where are you from anyway? How do you know about researching and finding a mine? Something just isn’t right about you…”

Adventurers come and go as they please, that's what I've seen. Sarya is ready to lead Trex back to Termalaine. :-)

(It seems we all waited for Tysris after all.)
As they get back to Termalaine, Sarya would ask where they could find Speaker Masthew to report on the succes of their mission.
Dwalt will follow along, saying little but he will keep an eye on Trex.
Upon return Dwalt will follow Sayra.
Ghathi follows along, keeping to the back of the group. He glances at Trex now and then, hoping this meeting with the Speaker goes well.
