“Thank you, that sounds fare. Oh, I almost forgot in a career like this I’m sure you have heard stories, have you heard anything about shape shifters? Lycanthropes to be exact, along with any stories about what lies outside of these walls?”
Raimun thinks for a moment then replies to Maverick, "I've heard rumors about lycanthropes in the forests east of here. As far as what lies outside of these walls, goblins and hyenafolk have been popping up all over the place. No one knows where they are coming from. Perhaps you and your friends could figure that out and stop them from invading our lands, if that is their intention."
“Sounds good, I thank you for you for your time and hope we may be of assistance to you in the future if we return to this city.” (Maverick shakes his hand and put the other on his shoulder) “Be safe, and we will take care of Karl for you and the others he has taken advantage of.”
Unaware of what’s going down at the Inn, Maverick pulls his hood up, blends back in with the common folk and casually makes his way back to the in by the way of what would be the equivalent to the back streets/alleys
Stun, you need to roll to hit before you roll damage. I'll let it slide this time: gnoll takes 11 points damage. Next time, remember to roll to hit first. gnoll AC = 15; so, you need to roll a 15 or better on d20 to hit.
OOC: My bad Bruce, it thought we where doing this off the character sheet, so i just pressed the attack buttons on the sheet. After the roll, Do you want me to use the sheet to attack or use d20 again?
Stun, use the sheet to hit then do damage, not just do damage. Or you could just roll here 1d20 + Str mod (or 1d20 + Dex mod if range attack) to hit then damage.
OOC: Stun, on your character sheet’s actions page there should be a column that says hit/dc. In the row with the weapon you want to use there should be a box that gives your bonus to hit. For example it might show +3. If you click that +3 it will roll you hit dice. Then the damage column will roll your damage dice.

Eskee, your turn.
OOC: My bad Bruce, it thought we where doing this off the character sheet, so i just pressed the attack buttons on the sheet. After the roll, Do you want me to use the sheet to attack or use d20 again?
Eskee cast ray of frost.
I rolled an 18 to hit for 6 cold damage
Also the gnoll’s speed is reduced by 10 feet until the end of my next turn
