Shaa follows the rest of the group but he is on edge and like all the others he tries to be ready. 

As the party is about 30 feet through the tunnel, two cages fall down from the ceiling, one cutting off their escape and one falling onto Leofir and Yuron. Shaa and Rey are stuck between the two cages blocking the path.

(Yuron and Leofir may stand still and be trapped inside the cage or make a DEX Saving throw to attempt to avoid it.)

Wheeey there DM. Is it possible, seeing as Rey is a barb, he has adv on dex saves regarding visible traps, is there any chance he can attempt to catch the bottom of a cage before it comes down? If you like, this could count as my turn?

Rey swoops in and grabs the cage, preventing it from falling on anyone else, although he struggles to hold it as it digs into his shoulders, dealing 6 bludgeoning damage.

(That uses up your reaction, and since it's not your turn you can't rage. You also can't move or attack while holding it. Each turn you end holding up the cage, you will have to make an athletics check (DC 10) or drop it.)

(Yuron)

(I assume Rey catches Yuron's cage, since Leofir would have been out in front)

Also, what are the cages made from? Wood, metal, etc?

(Rey catches the cage that was falling onto Leofir and Yuron. The cages are made from rusty metal bars.)

OOC: So we have a cage behind us, me, and one in Rey's hand just in front of Shaa? I'd like to use [spell]feather fall[/spel] on the crates. It says up to 5 persons so I m wondering if I can change the spell a bit to make it target the crates? I could even level the spell to level 2 for that. And then we could move the crates easily. 

Yuron will try move back towards the rest of the group while helping Rey with the trap.

16 Athletics 

"Just eat through the iron bars Rey!" Leofir says with jest as Rey saves him and Yuron from the cage.

Seeing that Yuron is holding up the cage with him and Shaa is attempting to cast a spell, Leofir quickly tries to see if there's a way to disarm the trap.

Investigation 7

If he can't disarm it, he will attempt to hold up the cage in with Rey and Yuron, so Rey can knock it over!

Athletics 6

If Shaa cast feather fall at 2nd level, it would reduce the Athletics check to 8. 

Two cages drop at the far end of the passage.

"Should we try and break it or escape?"

He will assist Rey with that ever the decision is.

Rey attemots to push it back up with the help of Yuron. As he does so, grabs a javelin from his pack and props it up with a javellin.

Can Leofir attempt to climb over the cages  by using the wall and weight of the cage for support to see if there's a reset lever at the end of the hall or something to bring the cages back up?
