She stands then, realizing she had gotten too close to the thing. She trots over to the rest of the group, completely oblivious to her beloved elven rogues plight...
Trem sees a magical rune light up and vanish as he ends his prayer.
The chest contains the rest of the treasure found by Urgon Wenth—a gilded scroll case covered in a cosmological map of the multiverse (worth 15 gp), a jade statuette of a storm giant (25 gp), a quiver containing six +1 arrows, and a silver ring set with a jasper stone (50 gp). It also holds Hulil’s wealth—415 cp, 234 sp, 43 ep, and 112 gp—and a receipt indicating that Hulil sold a blue glass vial to Irven Liel for 100 gp.
Trem keeps the arrows. He's going to return them to Hulil, one by one. He hands out the rest of the money, gives the jade statuette to Kha, the map to Roxaria and the silver ring to Eline (you can give it around, it seemed the most appropriate this way)
(That's 83 cp, 47sp, 8ep and 22gp for all, Trem pockets the rest 😏)
Roxaria unfurls the cosmological map and quizzically looks over it. “Reginald, does this map hold any meaning to you? it does not look like a geographical map of anything I am familiar with.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"I'll check it out" Reginald says as he peers intently at the objects and Trem. (OOC : Has detect magic up, looks to see if Trem has actually been infected, also to check out any the objects) Then studies the map (Arcana +6 : 19)
Roxaria puts the map back in the case as it currently has no relevance and looks at the group.
”I don’t know if we’ve run into a dead-end here; however, I do know that I am frustrated and a bit miffed at Hulil. She just left and never told Trem about the trap on the chest, especially after he’d given her that letter she was apparently expecting from her sister.
Hulil, right now, is on her way to Tulgi’s home back in Palebank. I think we should also return to Palebank and go to the Jolly Dwarf Inn and look for that merchant staying there, Irven Liel. Maybe he still has the blue vial. I am curious if he even knows what it is, why he even bought it or what he intends to do with it.”
She looks to the group, “At the very least, some warm food, drink and a good bed would be nice if we end up having to go to Eiselcross on our own expedition.”
Roxaria peers out at the night sky from the cave entrance. “I guess you sort of lose track of time when you’re in a cave and do not have a sense of where the sun is. Perhaps, for safety, we should stay here the night. On the other hand, Trem. I’m hesitant to waste any time also, for your safety. I will take first watch though if we stay here.”
Roxaria begins gathering firewood and making camp at the entrance of the cave unless the others object and wish to press through the night.
Kha stuffs the figurine into his pack. "As much as I'd like to get back to town and give that Huili a piece of my hammer. It may be better to stay here tonight."
The orc quietly steps over to Trem. "I'm sorry you got that stuff on you. I will do my best to make sure we find you that cure."
Trem looks at Eline with pleading eyes
Please... leave...

(Noooooooooo!)
Once everybody is away Trem holds the chest, closes his eyes and says:
Chromatic Dragon, conquer our weakness…
And he quickly opens the chest!

Cats go Moo!
The map has no magical properties. Reginald sense the magic from the dagger, arrows, and Trem similar to those infected with the Frigid Woe
Reginald informs the others of what he has discovered.

Right, let's head back to Palebank and find Liel. I guess we have an extra motivation to find a cure now eh?
Trem seems suprisingly jovial about it all.

It is night by the time the party exits the cave. Does the group want to push on through the night or wait for morning?
Trem would like to stay the night in the cave (if the others agree) so he can spent some time with Kronk.
