"Oh I'm not done, I still haven't received my payment." Malikily keeps the bubble of water hovering beside him.
“You seriously think your going to be paid for what you just did?” Akyan says angrily, “You nearly jeopardized the entire mission!”
Having lost interest in the orc, Xo gets up out of his now squished seat, and says with a weak smile, "Thank you for your information. Have a good day." Xo now wishes he had as cool of a goodbye as Rieka, but that does not matter. He then walks to the wall Rieka and Thalanil are investigating, unsure whether the orc was just crazy, or this cat monster is stuck in another dimension or something just as strange. Xo pokes the wall, slowly.
Malikily scowls, "Just the decision of going on this mission deserves payment. As does putting up with you." Malikily moves the bubble of water a couple of inches toward Akyans face.
Responding to Rieka's question. "Let me check." Thalaniel studies the wall, and the building. He tries to figure where could an entrance be, or if there is any secret entrance.

(OOC: I am trying really hard to stay in character yet not kick Malikily out of this group lol)
”Typical palace brat.” Akyan thinks. Taking note of the water orb he says, “The only payment your getting, is the ability to walk away.” A bit thicker than before, the green mist swirls angrily around his hands.
Watching this exchange, hidden from on top of the roof, Sheerow starts to get nervous. "Akayan, I really don't think that starting a fight is a good idea. If anything, you're just gonna be egging him on. And we don't want to draw any more attention to ourselves than we already have. And I don't think that the Tabaxi guard is gonna let you two in after this." She turns her attention to Reika, contacting her privately. "Reika, any luck so far? I'm not seeing anything from up on the roof, and Akayan and Malikily don't look too good. A fight might go down. Probably will go down. Please say you have something."

"I won't fight him if I don't have to." Akyan responds to Sheerow, "But as long as we are close to the Tavern, I'm going to have to keep up the charade I started. If that means fighting him, so be it." "He could use a good beating anyway," he adds to himself.
(OOC: Sorry about my character, I have a plan to develop him, but for now I have to be the snotty obnoxious noble.)
Malikily brandishes his shortsword almost teasingly, "Akyan, you don't think that you could actually stand a chance against me in a fight, do you?" Malikily gestures to the green mist around Akyans fingers, "And what's that, a drow trick?" Malikily laughs, "I dare you to attack me." Malikily smirks, "Unless you don't have the stomach for it."
(OOC: It's fine, this isn't all Malikily's fault. Akyan is very quick to hold a grudge and very slow to let it go. He could use some character development as well.)
"You're overconfident. You don't even know what you're up against. Typical for one such as you. You think your so high and mighty just because of who your parents are." Akyan laughs bitterly, "And this?" He raises a hand, "I don't really know, all I know is that it kills. I don't know if it comes from my heritage or something darker. Never got the chance to ask. But that doesn't matter." He clenches his fist and fixes Malikily with an icy stare, "Tell me, did you run on that day? Did you run, while your entire family was murdered? I may have been born to a cursed race, but I would never leave one of my own behind. Even if it meant death." All thought of avoiding a fight gone, he severs the connection between himself, Sheerow and Reika, and waits for Malikily to make a move. His body is tense with anger and anticipation, the mist swirling even faster.
"HOW DARE YOU!" Malikily runs at Akyan and slashes at him with his shortsword, then swings a fist at him.
Shortsword to hit: 9
Shortsword damage: 9
Unarmed strike to hit: 15
Unarmed strike damage: 6
As Malikily runs at Akyan the water orb falls to the ground and creates a small puddle.
Akyan easily dodges Malikily's first attack, however his second attack catches him in the ribs. As Malikily rushes towards him, the mist suddenly forms two transparent green blades, both about the length of a shortsword, and both with slightly curved blades. Grunting from Malikily's punch, he slashes at him with his blades.
To hit: 16
Damage: 6
To hit: 17
Damage: 8
Both of the blades cut into Malikilys stomach, forcing him to gasp for breath, Malikily takes a shallow breath and then looks to the sky as a wave of thunderous force sweeps out from him. (Akyan must make a DC 11 constitution saving throw, after you make the throw I will tell you the outcome.)
Thunderwave damage: 9
Malikily also uses one Ki point to use patient defense, which allows him to take the dodge action as a bonus action.
(OOC: Akyan's blades do psychic damage, so Malikily would feel like he is being cut, and take damage but there wouldn't be a physical wound. That's my interpretation anyway. Leaves for less messy assassinations...)
Con save: 14
Akyan gasps as the wave hits him. Recovering from the blow, he uses cunning action to disengage without allowing for attack of opportunity. He moves backwards 20 ft, then throws his blades at Malikily.
To hit: 27
Damage: 6
To hit: 8
Damage: 5
(OOC: When I used the dodge action it made it so that you have disadvantage on attack rolls, so did you roll twice for both attacks?)
(OOC: Oops I missed that, no i didn't. I don't think either of those hit you anyway, so just say they both missed.)
(OOC: LOL he just got hit by thunder, and your moving around a lot. I think his aim would be a bit off. LOL)
