Agitated, Yoli hoarsely whispers "That's a pack of wolves, on the hunt. It's only a matter of time before they find us. We're sitting ducks out here. We're set up for stealth, not defense. They can just as easily surprise us here as on the move. We're sitting ducks out here in the open. We need to find shelter, and fast. They haven't found us yet, and if we're lucky, they might not ever find us if we quietly leave right now. If we stay, we're definitely in for a fight, and I don't like our chances."
"Wolves are still animals" - Razaniel commented to Yoli, and nodded at the cleric- "We can change our stances from stealth to combat if we organize ourselves right now, as Kwami has already suggested. Even if they are a pack, they will back off if we resist them - even more so with fire" - he added - "We can start off to the road, but we would give up the advantage of organization, and venture into the unknown, wearing ourselves out without knowing if there is any shelter nearby"
IC: Abel rubs his jaw and frowns, turning toward the wizard, "Have you means of masking our scents from their leader as we flee, friend mage? These creatures are infallible trackers."

"I know little of wolves and woods...But have spent many nights patrolling unlit streets. Should a cloud pass over the moon, how many of you could still see?"
Quin leans in and Whispers to Yoli, "I don't like it either but we'll definitely not make it by ourselves. Let's try to find a vantage point out of the way." The rogue begins to search for a suitable tree to take cover in readying his bow as he goes.
"I agree with the bonfire suggestion but it might be worth while to spread out a bit so that we lesson the advantage of them attacking in a pack formation. Possibly pairing ranged attacker with a melee attacker." He holds up his bow for emphasis.

I assume pack tactics will be used, does that mean flanking is in play as well?

The ravens began to caw frantically. The wolves, seemingly approaching from all directions, continued their howls.
DMN:
Next Turn: Please provide a Perception AC.
Prior Turn: Perception AC 12 If you passed the AC, you notice that the ravens all have a slight red glow to their eyes, and you are certain that the ravens are communicating with the wolves. If you missed the AC, I'm sure the noise is all quite annoying.
Obviously, the group is in a less than desirable situation. As you make your posts, please ensure you include any applicable rolls. i.e. If you're going to walk a tightrope while reciting the history of Krynn as recorded by Astinus, you should probably provide an Acrobatics and History AC.
From a timing perspective, each of your posts would cover roughly about 6 seconds of time - a round. Sticking to this gives me the ability to summarize what everyone is doing, and where they are, as well as what kind of beast is about to bite your head off.
As a general note, for the private DM rolls to date I can say the dice gods are in your favor at this point. :)
as long as everyone is in agreement, Boil will cast create bonfire in a central location where grounded characters can have the access the desire and those in trees, like himself, can see the perimeter and anything trying to enter it clearly in the provided light.
” very good, very good. My favorite piece of magic…” He smiles broadly as he brushes a finger from each hand against each other, like rubbing sticks and says light it up in draconic.
“Maybe after the wolves are handled, we can partake in some fine wolf steaks…very tasty”
” did anyone else notice those crows are a bit off? “
Observing the strange behaviour red glow in the eyes of the crows, Yoli makes a deduction. Knowing that all hope for stealth is lost, he loudly calls out to the group: "The crows are more than a little off! There's some strange magic at play here, for they seem to be communicating with the wolves. Anyone who has a ranged attack, kill those birds!" He readys the Chill Touch cantrip, with the trigger being that when his familiar delivers the help action, he will fire at the closest crow. He then directs his owl familiar to give the help action and return to him.

Boil is liking the excitable Yoli so far and will follow his example. He will take aim at one of the crows in range with his trusty, but rusty crossbow.

When they enter the clearing... when... that's what I said about the bonfire,Kwami thinks to himself, but says nothing. Holding aloft the metal shield with the holy symbol of the Morninglord emblazoned on the front, he (BA) casts shield of faith on himself, bolstering his defenses (+2 AC to total of 20). Then, seeing that they have apparently declared war on the crows, he will send necromantic energy at the nearest spellbound bird, (action) casting toll the dead, causing a terrible bell note to be struck, draining life from his victim.

Edit: Ok so Abel is still on the ground, looks like. :)

(In RAW, you could not ready both a main attack and an offhand attack. The offhand attack counts as a bonus action, which is separate from the main attack action, and you can't ready both. Of course, the DM can rule to allow it if so desired).
