Almost frozen with fear, Yoli tries his best to be still, and breathe quietly. As he takes the dodge action himself, he telepathically directs the owl familiar to fly over to Acher, and distract the wolf that he's preparing to attack, and then return to its perch.
OOC
I was going to have the owl give the help action to Razaniel, because he's after Yoli's turn.
OOC: I believe my action is the Faerie Fire I readied last turn. I was thinking I could still cast Healing Word at the end of the order as a Bonus Action, but that may be premature this early in the fight, yes?
(The wolves all need to pass a Dex DC of 13 to avoid being lit up with green sparkles.)
Edit: Sorry guys another question. If I am already in the tree from last turn, can I now jump down again in the direction of Razaniel if I want to go and try to assist him with his three wolves?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Alright for my next turn I’ll use vicious mockery on the closest enemy to bruno (save dc is 13) and then back up to the farthest place from said enemy as possible
Maybe just include it in your post, so something like: Acher uses his reaction to jab at a wolf as soon as one comes into range, and then with his turn he... etc
Here is a crude grid until I get something better put together. The V#s are verticle spaces, and the H#s are horizontal. i.e. Acher is standing in V1, H4.
As combat begins, Abel releases his magic, and some of the wolves (V5-H11, V6-H11, V6-H12, V7-H13) begin to glow lightly. Leaping down from his perch, he begins to move towards Razaniel.
As a wolf (V4-H10) leaps at Acher, he pokes at it with his ready spear, and then swings quickly lunging again but misses as the wolf dances to the side and snaps out drawing blood (Acher -5 HP).
Quin's arrow flies wide of the wolf near Yoli, although he does manage to scramble into the lowest branch of the nearby tree.
Boil spews his venomous spew, and the wolf (V6-H8) yelps loudly as it turns to black smoke - same as the raven.
One of the wolves (V9-H8) watches as Abel drops to the ground and pounces after him.
Razaniel slashes the muzzle of the nearest wolf (V7-H12). It attempts to bite back, and grabs ahold of his forearm (Razaniel -8 HP). The wolves nearest brother (V6-H12) also bites at Razaniel's ankle but misses.
Abel reaches Razaniel from behind and releases Healing Word (Razaniel +5 HP).
Another wolf (V5-H11) bites out at Acher's calf but misses as it is punctured in the side by Kwami's mace.
Yoli send his owl towards Acher as a potential distraction to the wolves.
Bruno launches a volley of despicable insults at the same wolf (V7-H12) Razaniel slashed.
Another wolf (V6-H11) lunges at Kwami's ankle and latches on (Kwami -8 HP).
DMN:
@Acher, Kwami and Razaniel Please start your next round with a Strength DC 11. If you make it, you remain standing. If you fail it, you are knocked down prone.
I included my tracking table below to help us get through the learning curve of a new group and toolset together. I won't normally do that, but for this fight I think it makes sense.
Combat Map You should not have any problems accessing this. Let me know if you do.
Regarding Ready Actions
From PHB | Ready: Sometimes you want to get the jump on a foe or wait for a particular circumstance before you act. To do so, you can take the Ready action on your turn, which lets you act using your reaction before the start of your next turn.
Essentially, you are saving your turn. If you decide to save your turn in favor of a ready action, I'll bounce you to the top of the initiative order for the next round, assuming your called triggering event happens. That is the risk. If it works out the way you expect, it is good. However if the called triggering event never happens you wasted a turn.
In this round, it worked out for both Abel and Acher. Both of their called triggering events happened.
Remaining still in his illusory tree stump, Yoli continues to dodge, while telepathically directing his owl familiar to help Abel's next attack, before flying to a perch at a safe distance.
OOC
I assume that the previous round's help action should give Acher advantage this round (against V4-H10, not glowing), since he's early in the initiative order, and then this current help action could help Abel's attack next round on V8-H8 (not glowing)
I assume that the previous round's help action should give Acher advantage this round, since he's early in the initiative order, and then this current help action should be good for Razaniel, because he's after Yoli's turn.
They would have advantage against the wolves that are effected by Faerie Fire. If you want to edit your post to target another wolf, I am fine with that.
OOC: Question to TK804 - Razaniel also had a readied action. Did that one not got resolved? Maybe it would have avoided the attack for -8HP?
I did miss this from a couple posts back in the reconciliation. I'll apply those hits to one of the wolves at the start of the next round. It would not have avoided the hit against you though.

I'm still a little uncertain with how readied actions work. Was Acher able to use his reaction?

In my next post I'll try to clarify how we can handle ready and bonus actions. PbP definitely makes it unique.

If the Faerie fire outlines that wolf then here is his advantage roll 15
Either because of the advantage granted by the spell or because the wolf is within 5 feet of Yoli, Quins sneak attack damage on a hit is 4.
Quin athletics check to get into the tree (even at 1/3 his movement he should have plenty to get there.) 13

Correction, Kwami's AC is 20. He cast shield of faith before the combat began. Does this affect the success of the wolf's attack?

Unfortunately, no. You actually got hit with a natural 20. I did miss that though. I have since updated my table.
