OOC: Not sure what happened with the damage rolls - I typed the string instead of using the dice roller. Does that not work? I also do not know if I can attack twice on a readied action, but I guess I should be able to, right?
OOC
(In RAW, you could not make two attacks as a reaction. The offhand attack counts as a bonus action, which is separate from the main attack action, and you can't ready both. Of course, the DM can rule to allow it if so desired).
As the group launches an attack on the ravens, they burst into flight squawking loudly as they attempt to flee.
At Yoli's cast, a large ghostly hand appears, ripping one of the birds from the sky. Boil pierces one with a bolt as well. As the two birds fall to the ground, they fade away into a black smoke - leaving no remains.
The group can now hear the growling of the wolves. They are close.
DMN:
Next Turn: Your chance for final actions has arrived. Please include an initiative roll in your next post.
Prior Turn: Perception AC 10 If you passed it, you can discern that the wolves arrival is imminent, and coming from multiple directions.
@rob88scps2 A reminder that Kwami doesn't have Toll the Dead, as that spell is not in the allowed source material.

After calling out "The wolves will be here any second" Yoli retreats back into his hiding spot, and casts Minor Illusion. He creates an image of a tree stump large enough to visually obscure himself from the wolves. He then directs his owl to perch 15 feet up a nearby tree and then hide.
IC: Noting the growing tension in the postures of some of the other explorers, Abel makes a second attempt to climb up into his chosen tree perch: Athletics: 11
OOC: I'm not even sure I'm allowed to make moves that require an athletics roll as my movement during the same turn as an attack, so please ignore the above if I'm out of line there.
I'd like to ready Faerie Fire for the centre of the wolf pack, to be cast upon my having counted five seconds from the last wolf having emerged. Is that too specific a trigger?

Boil is very satisfied with his successful hit on the crow, and amazed the crow was filled with smoke. Very unusual.
Inititiative: 19
he reloads and prepares for wolves to show, safely perched in the tree. He admires Yolis illusion of a stump as the little guy seemingly disappears inside it

DMS:
Along with Yoli's warning, the group begins to see multiple sets of glowing red eyes from the darkness. The howls of the wolves have changed to snarls and growls.
Abel climbs a tree. Quin attempts a tree climb, but the branch he grabs breaks under his weight. Boil maintains his tree perch. Acher and Razaniel stand ready, along with Kwami and Bruno.
In an instant, the wolves attack, as if from everywhere.
Two wolves lunge at Acher, three at Razaniel, one lands menacingly right beside Yoli saliva dripping from its fangs, one leaps at the tree Boil is sitting in, one snaps viciously at Quin but misses due to him side stepping behind the tree.
DMN:
Below is the initiative order table for reference. This is a big group, so let's all try and be concise and meaningful with our posts. I'll summarize the action of the round in my next post, including the results of called actions.
Going forward, if the site calls the post a manipulated roll, I'm going to treat it as a 1. There is just not an easier way to do it.
To summarize in combat posting requirements, each post should have an IC section meaningfully describing your reaction to the DM post (6 seconds of time), and then an OOC section with any notes or dice rolls associated to your reaction. If you are calling an attack, please include not only the attack roll, but the damage roll as well.
Example:
The wolf's eye smolder in fury as it leaps at Acher. Emboldened by the closeness of the pack, it attempts to grab his wrist with its powerful jaws.

IC
Boils spots the swarm of wolves descending upon the group, and sees that one has noticed him and is trying to take a leap at him. He will cup his hand and blow into it and then thrust it forward, opening his palm and say “ Skunk’s Patooty” in Draconic, casting poison spray at the wolf below him. A thick, greenish cloud billows from his hand and envelopes the base of the tree with a foul smelling gas.
OOC:
Got it! Thanks for clarifying rob88scps2 ;)

any chance of getting a basic position map see we can see how the wolves are clustered compared to us with an indication of the wolf number?
and should we just post our activity and you will put them in the order on the summary?

Do we wait for our turn in the order, or will it be pieced together?
Wizard - Yoli Garrick, Wild Beyond the Witchlight
No need to wait for your turn. I'll put all the actions in order and summarize in my next post.
Dragonborn Monk Bronze Viper
Yes, I will work on this for my next post.

Razaniel nodded grimly as three wolves faced off against him - "Very well then..." - his weapons came in a fast, and practiced double swing.
