On the one hand Randy just dropkicked the black gate, so he and Sam would be hit by the fireball if it's in the south corner, impacting the most undead. If it's instead the north corner, it hits no undead, no allies, just the red wizard.

tetrevess will use absorb elements on the cone of cold to reduce the damage, he makes the save vs fear with an 18. and then…
tetrevess uses a 4th level slot radiant fireball (hitting as many baddies as he can without hitting us) 22 pts of damage dc 22 dex save for half.

Trisk will use a 5th level spell slot to cast False Life gaining 2 + 24 temp hp. He will then pick up Piccolo and carry her over to the door.
