Zale squints into the darkness towards where Khessa pointed.

"Do ya think the cult up and left? I doubt these hunters scared them off, but perhaps they be the ones to burn it." She looks at Nixi, "I might not be able to turn invisible, but i sure can be stealthy, I can go down there with ya. We may even want to talk to them folks. They may be able to give us some answers."

Oh yeah, you see the 2 Elves and the Human who almost fell into the bonfire. You also notice the horses: a Clydesdale Horse, 2 Quarter Horses and a Shire Horse.
Nixi nods at Zale and says, "Sure, you can come if you wish." She will then cast invisibility on herself, her wand shooting out a fountain of pinksparkles that cascade around her, and when they fade, she has vanished. She will head toward the cultist camp, giving the hunters' campfire a wide berth. She will keep her eyes and ears open for signs of the cultists, or anything they may have left behind.
(Can she tell if the Clydesdale and Shire are used as mounts or if they are being used for pack horses? Those breeds are usually used for pulling carriages rather than as mounts. Mostly can she tell if there is one member of the group who isn't standing at the bonfire?)

Eric mumbles "If three of us are going down already, is of little sense to split the party. We could just descend down from here and then the ones of us who are not prone to sneak into the darkness of the camp could just sit quietly, waiting for the others to come back of give a signal. an ambush seems unlikely to me anyway"
Nixi, up close you can determine from tracks that the cultists trekked away in small groups in all directions. You don't notice any Cultists in the camp. You can make an Investigation or Perception check to see if you learn more.

"Yes, you're right, let's go" Khessa agrees - and since she is really terrible at sneaking, she walks to the hunters.
"Perhaps two of us approach them, and the rest stay ready to attack if they seem hostile. I'd prefer to avoid bloodshed, and it may be in our best interest to stay on their good side. They may know something." Zale addresses the group, "I'd say Kriv and Eric do that since they aren't to sneaky. Unless you all be set on completely avoiding them and just investigating the camp. They look like they be travelin on their own, so they don't seem like to much of a threat."

The hunters don't even bother to get up, though the Human scowls a bit. Do you say anything?

(Well I guess i missed what Khessa said, so just ignore this i guess lol)
Zale facepalms, this was not what she had in mind, and this was certainly not what Eric had meant. Shaking her head, she looks to Eric and Kriv, "Well i'd suggest at least one of go with her. The rest of you, come with me. We can take this opportunity to scout out the camp."
With that she starts making her way towards the cave where the eggs had been kept.

(Anyone coming with Khessa?)
Eric does.
He nods to Zales words and follows Khessa; mumbling indistinctly in his tongue...
Khessa greets the hunters with a smile: "Hi! How are you guys? I came here for the camp..." she looks around for a moment "... but I arrived late, I guess! Are they long gone?" and she sits nonchalantly next to them - not so close as to be intrusive... just close enough for all to be able look at each other in the face and to speak without raising the voice.

You make your way to cave and peek in. There's no light in there, but here's what you can make out with what little light comes from ouside:

The Human answers: Dunno, wasn't here.
The female Elf says something to the male Elf (in Elvish, I don't think you understand). The male Elf scowls a bit.
Nixi will Investigate the camp, looking for anything out of the ordinary, or clues where the cultists may have gone.
Investigation 12
You realise that while quite a bit of material has been left behind, it’s all trash: cracked pottery, rusty knives, soiled clothing and bedding, cheap cookware, and wine that’s gone to vinegar. However, you do learn that most of the camp’s wagons and pack animals moved in a train toward the west.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kriv takes a deep breath. As he speaks, he slowly straightens to his full height and grips his Greataxe tighter. “It was a large group. They’re bad people and they killed our friend. I suggest you think very hard. I am not a patient person and answers like that test my patience.”
"Besides, if just hearing about them causes you to frown," Khessa adds "why hide their movements from us? Tell us what you know... where they went or at least what direction they went... it's them we're interested in, guys, not you".
