Nixi's head clears, and she slowly materializes. "Wow, sorry about that," she says. "There must have been some kind of poison on that trap I stumbled into, I was unable to focus my mind at all. Seems to have worn off, though, thank the gods."
"Nixi!"Khessa is relieved to know that her gnome friend is well "I was just worrying about what could have happened to you" she hughs her (having stopped cooking drakes). "I'm glad you are fine now".
Hearing about the poison, the blonde arcane warrior thinks: 'It could be nice to be able to use that poison against the Cult...'
She examines the trap. There is some reasonably safe way to remove (and take away) the poisoned spikes? How are them fixed? Simply planted in the ground? It seems that them could be removed by using a crowbar to get leverage?
Zale blinks into the darkness. Unable to see anything, she turns around and grabs the wing of the winged kobold and drags it over to the cage. Since Khessa has stopped shooting the drakes, she holds the body up in front of her. "Heh. ye hungry? Me friend's will stop hurting you if you be quiet." She drops the body onto the floor, then shoves it's head close to the cage so they can grab it. She doesn't want to risk opening the door.

Without warning the winged Kobold is gone. You didn't even the claw grabbing it.

Are you touching it?
I'd rather not... Only looking at it for now... Trying to assess if it might be possible (and, if yes, how difficult it might be) to remove the spikes and take them with us.
Best you can guess (just looking) the spikes are welded to a metal plate. You can see a portion of it on the bottom of the shallow pit. That's all you get just looking.
"The spikes are welded to a metal plate..." Khessa thinks aloud "Damn, I was hoping they were separate spikes just planted on the ground. If they are all welded, I doubt I can move them and take them away. I'll leave them there".
However, before letting the trap be, the blonde arcane warrior slowly rubs the blade of her greatsword at least for a little while against the poisoned spikes (keeping her hands off the spikes, of course! The greatsword blade is so long, she should not have troubles doing this from safe distance...), in the hope that the blade will be able to receive some of the poison. Maybe it will work, for just one blow. Or maybe not... worst it can happen, it will still be her usual greatsword.
(Lol i didn't really think about that. She'd probably have said the "Ye hungry" in draconic, and the "Me friend's will stop hurting you if you be quiet." in common. She want's to make sure her companions understand her.)

"I can turn the metal plate into a sword in one hour if you want, my dear" Eric shrugs "No idea what could happen to the poison by the way, but if you want to find out..." he shrugs again
"Very good to know, Eric" is impressed Khessa. "I think we should definitely come back here and do this experiment, after we have finished exploring the cave" her blue eyes sparkle with curiosity. "But I'd not invest an hour now, only for this purpose. Also because, as you pointed out, we don't know if the poison would remain; we would risk wasting time to no avail. I would say to continue the exploration for now".
Zale will continue talking to the drakes in draconic. "Wow, ya do be hungry. They must not feed you all that well." She goes back and grabs another Kobold to throw towards the cage.
Eric nods and starts climbing up the stairs "I am assuming we should lead the way Khessa, since Nixi isn't invisible anymore" he moves with circumspection, exploring the stair searching of other traps

"I'll be at your side, my friend" Khessa keeps the greatsword ready.
Giant lizard Calvin takes the opportunity to investigate the cave.
(Investigation: 11)
Whoops, missed this post.
Giant Lizard Calvin finds nothing worthwhile. He notices that the stairs going further down the cave is wide enough for him, but this is going to be single file again.

You get the impression that the Drakes only understand Draconic and are somewhat trained. They eat their meal without too much noise.

Perception check: 13 (using Guidance)
The stairs down to the next part of the cave are definitely trapped. The first step of the stairs looks like some kind of pressure plate.
Marching order: Eric - Khessa - and then Kriv? followed by Zale and Nixi with Giant Lizard Calvin bring op the rear?
There's no light in that part of the cave (keep that in mind folks without darkvision), at the bottom of the stairs there's some dim flickering light coming from the right.
OK, the 'woman without darkvision' casts Light on another pebble and keeps it with her to be able to see. The pressure plates should be neutralized if we put something behind them so that they do not trigger... but this is Zale's field, Khessa does not understand much of this, she awaits for the dragonborn rogue to take action, if she wishes.

Kriv follows suit and tosses the kobold he carried to the drakes.
