Khessa's blue eyes widen in terror, as she sees the winged monsters try to grab her belov... her dear friend and bring him away!
'They'll try to let him fall from great height and kill him!' the blonde arcane warrior thinks 'No way I let them do this!'
The tall adventuress tries to kill the most wounded of the Perytons: she charges at it greatsword in hands as the predator dives.
'Anator, distract him!' she telepathically urges - and the bat comes out from under the cover of her long golden locks, suddenly flying towards the enemy's eyes.
Then Khessa strikes.
(OOC: The plan is to have Anator take the Help action, giving Khessa advantage in her first attack against the Peryton - a familiar can't attack, but nothing forbidds him to Help... If you think it can't be done, well, Khessa will attack all the same, without advantage).
I'll allow it. But don't think this will work every attack in every fight.
If Eric has the chance to respond to the attacks (otherwise he will do in on his next turn) he'll summon his flaming hammer, castingSpiritual Weaponas bonus action. As regular action he casts Shield of faith
Spiritual weapon may hit 25 dealing 5 damages
Eric's AC is now 22
I'll assume this happens to Peryton B now. It take a little dmg, but it's still going to try a fly away with you if you can't beat it's Strength check.
"May Moradin bless you little fella" thinks the dwarf when he sees the net falling over the creature
Don't know if it still matters but Eric's other checks would be: 16
Ooof... you fail (the second check was a 18) unless Zale or Calvin can stop the Peryton before it flies of with you'll be 10-15 ft from the ground starting next round.
Zale curses when her first attack misses, and the creatures both fly strait for the dwarf. Luckily her comrades make up for her little stumble, and even manage to take out one of the perytons. Gripping the hilt of her rapier, she prepares to strike at the second one once it gets close enough. She can't let it fly off with one of her friends can she?
The Peryton takes the dmg but still manages to grab Eric and fly off. However, Dwarves are pretty heavy. It' flying speeds is reduced to 30 ft. Using it's action to it can fly 60 ft max.
Eric and the Peryton are now 10/15 ft from the ground. The Peryton will try to get as high as possible.
"Bloody Bastard!" Zale curses again as the creature still manages to carry of Eric, and she can't even hit with her breath weapon without hitting her friend. Scrambling, she grabs her crossbow with her left hand. Good thing she keeps it loaded during the day, even though that's bad for the string, otherwise this would have taken a lot longer.
(I think drawing a weapon costs an action? Not sure if she can actually attack on this turn... will post damage anyway. If she can't do that this round, she'll shoot next round if the thing is still alive.)
To hit: 9! (woo If she rolls another 9 i'mma switch to the in thread roller. it's getting ridiculous...)
Khessa doesn't lose sight of Eric for a moment, while her companions continue to bombard the Peryton with ranged attacks.
'Come on, bad beast...' thinks the blonde arcane warrior 'Die already... Or at least let him go...' and she is ready at any moment to pronounce the formula that will slow down her friend's fall...
I'll allow it. But don't think this will work every attack in every fight.

"Kill the beast!" Shouts Khessa excitedly "I'll slow down Eric's fall".
