OK, if the door has no lock, I guess Khessa won't find a key. She doesn't intend to steal anything, but at least she pays attention to what Jamna has with her; particularly, if she has a Harpers symbol somewhere — but also if she has anything else curious or suspicious.
Anyway, after that she tries to knock at the lockless door (hoping to be able to finally to bring Jamna to rest).
Khessa's Investigation (unless the save prevents it): 12
You have trouble searching her thoroughly. You feel rushed trying to not get caught. You do notice that Jamna has 2 Short Swords, lots of money, a Leather Armor, a Spell Book, Component Pouch, some jewelry, quite a few Ball Bearings, a Tinderbox, a Hooded Latern, a Piton, a venomous Stinger to catch pickpockets with and that's about it...

The door swings open and you see a large Half-Orc wearing little more than a loincloth.
What? Who dares... Jamna?! Are you alright? The Half-Orc only sees Eric and Khessa now. What did you to to her?!
...What? Who dares... Jamna?! Are you alright? The Half-Orc only sees Eric and Khessa now. What did you to to her?!
"We took her to her room, because she had too much to drink and got drunk, it seems..." Khessa explains, perplexed "Or at least, we thought it was her room. Lira directed us to the 'third room on the left'... Was she wrong? Or maybe... are you Gurk? Jamna told us about you just tonight..."
"Indeed" nods Eric "this place offers quite fine beer, but I am afraid not everyone can handle it" he burbs, flushing, starting to sober up a bit but still visibly happy drunk...
Zale stands up and stretches. "Ah really? Heh, that be mighty smart o ye. I bet he'll appreciate me friends takin her over there." It's hard to tell if she's being sarcastic or sincere when she says this. "Well, Maybe I should be checkin on them. They wasn't aware that they was bringin dear little Jamna to a man's room. heheh." Before she leaves, she turns towards Kriv eyes narrowed, "Don't you be runnin off again ye hear? Or if ye do, at least take Calvin with ye for cryin out loud." Then she turns around and walks down to find Khessa and Eric standing in front of an open door.
"Yep that be Gurk." Zale laughs hearing Khessa's last few words. "Apparently this be where that elf lady wanted ye to take 'er." She leans on the wall with one elbow and crosses her leg while looking in towards the half-orc. "Heh, don't be worry'n bout yer little friend there. Me mate Khessa here do have everyone's best intentions in mind." She grins, and leans towards the door and whispers, "Though she holds one in particular higher than the rest."She tilts her head slightly towards Eric, grinning even wider. Then she makes an odd coughing sound and clears her throat, "SOOOOO, you're Gurk. Apparently you work with Jamna here quite often eh?"
Calvin replies to the cat, nodding, "I do like to take my time to learn about the natural world around me. I think that we people could learn a thing or too about the animals around us. There's too many people striving for ambitious goals, not afraid of what the consequences might be to themselves and those around them. Whereas, you seem quite content on that window sill."

Insight on Gurk: 7
Gurk is hard to read for Zale, maybe it's the lack of clothes?
Haha, yeah me be Gurk! Just put her in the bed on the other side!
Looking around the room you notice it's small but cosy, with a wooden floor and a sloping roof. There are two windows that give a view of the street. There are also two beds (one on each side), the one Gurk wasn't using is covered with a clean sheet and blankets. There are also two bedside tables, each with a candle. There is a closet where they can store their belongings. There is also a table with two chairs and a jug of water. There is no bathroom, but there is a bucket and a wash basin for personal hygiene. The room is simple but comfortable. Also, it looks like you can't lock the door from the inside either. At this point Gurk notices Khessa's bleeding finger.
Oh! Hahaha! You tried to pickpocket Jamna? Hahaha! His expression suddenly turns serious. Don't try that again. We don't steal from eachother. And certainly not here.
The cat purrs and says, I'm glad you think so, druid. You are right, Humans can learn a lot from the animals. We live in the moment and enjoy the little things. We don't worry about the future, or about the power of money. We are content with what we have and share what we can. We respect nature and live in harmony with it. We are wise, in our own way.
And yes, I am quite happy on this windowsill. It's a good place to sleep, watch and listen. I see many things that people do not see, and I hear many things that people do not hear. I know many things that people don't know. But I'll keep them to myself unless someone like you comes along who's really interested. Then I'd be happy to share my knowledge, if you give me something in return. A little food, a little attention, a little respect. That's all I'm asking. He licks his paw and says, And now, if you don't mind, I'd like to go back to sleep. It's been a tiring day, and I need my rest. But you can always visit me again if you want to talk more. You're likable, for a Human. He closes his eyes and settles on the windowsill.
"Pickpocket Jamna?" raises an eyebrow Khessa "Jamna will be able to see for herself that she doesn't lacks anything... I was looking for the key to open! It's only after I didn't find it, that I realized that the door was without a lock!"
Not having found any Harper symbols, the blonde arcane warrior begins to evaluate alternative hypotheses regarding the faction of Jamna.
"Any news from our faction, anyway?" asks the tall adventuress.
Faction? Is that what we we're calling it now? Not much anyway, nobody tells me nothing. Didn't need to wack anyone in a long time. I was hoping Jamna here would have some news for me. She's the one with the big mission anyway.
With Jamna in bed, the Half-Orc tugs her in and assumes you'll be leaving.
"Yeah, the great mission..." Khessa comments, pretending to be about to leave "Between you and me, what do you think? Is it something that really suits the Network? We risk making ourselves powerful enemies..."
"Gurk didn't seem surprised, when I spoke of 'Network' instead of 'Faction' this time..." the blonde arcane warrior whispers to Eric and Zale, once they've walked away from the room "And their ways ... the slum... the use of poison... the few scruples... the habit of 'wack' someone... the idea of whipe out a caravn without a second thought... I think Jamna is part of the Black Network: the Zhentarim. Not that this is a reason to refuse her help - but let's keep in mind that if it suits them, they won't hesitate to use or sacrifice us. Anyway, back to Kriv and Calvin Now?"

Kriv remains sitting and drinking. For a fancy place with no rum, it’s not half bad.
That just saves! It hurts quite a bit and bleeds profusely for such a small sting, but you don't take any dmg nor are you poisoned.
