'Thank you Anator, you are unique!' Khessa addresses her brother telepathically.
The blonde arcane warrior shares the information with her friends: "It is quiet in the courtyard. The warehouse door is latched but it appears to be unlocked. If this is the situation, I don't think we need a distraction, I'd say go inside everyone in the warehouse".
Well, unless someoene raises objections, Khessa leads the party to the warehouse, cautiously opens the door, lets Anator in to scout and, if (as she expects) no one is there, enters herself too.
Looking inside it seems like there's only food and fodder. The crates brought from the Greenfields are nowhere to be found. The source of the Abjuration magic seems to be coming from the strong room. Then you see Jamna sitting on a barrel. Well, that took you long enough! She says with a smirk.
"We preferred to wait for darkness to fall, to be less conspicuous" explains Khessa. "Well, it seems that you haven't been able to access the strong room yet. And that's a good thing, since it seems protected by some spell. Have you already discovered what the Cult is doing in there? Or are you waiting to satisfy your curiosity together with us?"
"that room seems to be protected by some abjuration spell" Eric says. Thereafter he approaches the entrance, then he open the palm of his hands in the direction of the magical source. a burst of bright light erupts when he pronounce his dwarfish prey.
he casts Dispel Magicif ability check is needed it is 10 (so he can dispel spells up to 3th level)
Calvin turns to Eric, "Are you sure that the room itself is being protected? Could always just be something in the room?" He shrugs his shoulders at his attempt to be helpful.

Khessa believes that Jamna, since she took the trouble to be found here, can also begin to actually make herself useful and (unless Eric hears something) invites her: "Ok, the door is free of protection spells now. Could you pick the lock? If we break it down we would make too much noise... as well as making the intrusion obvious".
Actually, when you were fighting and feasting I was actually quite busy. I was able to sneak into one of the Cultist's room and found out that they have a thief among them. I found a personal bag containing a part of the loot. I've managed to indentify the thief: it's the Half-Elf named Larion Keenblade. I doubt he wants to be exposed. Maybe he's willing to help if we help him get away? Anyway, during my search I could also overhear some of the Cultist in the next room. It was difficult to make out, but I know I heard "strong room" and "tunnel". So here I am!
To Khessa's last remark she says: I could that. But let's give lady Serpent over there a chance to prove herself. Jamna nods to Zale.
"Well done!" Khessa pats Jamna on the shoulder "An agreement with Larion could really be useful. Both for obtaining favors and information".
"Speaking of 'Lady Serpent'..." the blonde arcane warrior approaches her ally, lowering her voice "When we're done here, do you think you can help me assassinate Zale's enemy? She fights like a devil, much better than the common Cultists... She could be troublesome if we come up against her in battle when she his at full health and with other Cultists to support her. Not to mention she's determined to kill Zale. Now that she's so worn out from the fight, before she can heal... it would be a great time to get rid of her once and for all. Would you be able to locate the window of the room where she sleeps - and open it? A quite skilled and resourceful Zhentarim like you should be good at this... And even better if you could lend me a bit of contact poison... A poison that I can put on the end of a stick, for example... If I put that stick in contact with a certain very injured person while that person is sleeping... maybe that person might not manage to wake up (and cause problems) the next day. You understand?"
That could be arranged… I can take her out for you in a way that won't lead to any of us. I’ll need some help though.
Zeminny interjects: I’ve got an idea! We could use that Keenblade fella. And in exchange we’ll help him “escape” and deliver him to Frume and Leosin!
That could work. Jamna thinks out loud. But it’s probably best if a Harper or Order member is with us.
That will be me! Nixi pipes up. Sorry, but the adventuring life is nothing for me. I’d rather be a Harper in a save environment and I think Leosin can help me with that.
Great! Says Zeminny enthusiastically. So when we’re done here you guys keep tracking the loot, while the 4 of us kill the Serpent Slayer and make for Waterdeep.
[[It’s not beautiful but I’m planning on writing Nixi and Zeminny out of the story this way. Both players have told me to quit the campaign]]
(OOC: Well, sorry they're leaving, but you still found a plausible in-character way to get them out... Gratz)
Khessa embraces Nixi, emotionally hugs her and kisses her cheeks as farewell: "If you feel safer this way... it's okay, I'll be sorry not to see you for a while, but I'll take comfort in knowing you're safe!"
The blonde arcane warrior smiles at Jamna: "And thanks to you too... Knowing that the Serpent Slayer will no longer be a problem is a great relief. Maybe, finally reuniting with her dead friend, she will believe that Zale is innocent, when he'll tell her himself! And even if it's quite clear to me who the real murderer is..." her blue eyes look at the other with amusement "...I doubt that those two, from the afterlife, will be able to take revenge on you! Take care, Jamna!"
After that, the tall adventuress prepares to see what the strong room contains... as soon as Zale takes care of the lock.
Zale stretches. "Sooooo, what be the plan? Ye still want a distraction? Or do ya think we should all just go below deck?"
Anator notices that it is quiet in the courtyard. The warehouse door is latched but it appears to be unlocked.

OCC: ok, I have misunderstood.... thought that the door were protected... we'll say Eric is just muttering non-sense dwarfish profanities :D
"Oh, Maybe you're right!" laugh the dwarf "sometimes my mind plays tricks on me" he pads the druid shoulder while laughing
Kriv stares intently at the door. After a few seconds, he sniffs it and lightly pokes it. “I think it’s just a door.”
Eric approaches trying to perceive any voice or movement behind the door
