Well... ok, we can roll for initiative, but if I understand well Eric's post, he wished to send the crocodiles ahead, to kill the swarms while we came down more slowly.
I guess I read that wrong. I thought you guys were all coming down crocs first.
But if that's the plan I'll just need to know Calvin's Crocs init and actions.
"Perhaps this is a less frequented section of the dungeon..." Khessa comments, leading the way to the new room "First a room infested with swarms... Then an empty one..."
The blonde arcance warrior, however, once she arrives in the new room, maintains the habit of sending her brother on patrol! Anator explores descending (in flight) the steps to the west
"What do you say, my friends?" Khessa shares what her brother discovered "Shall we try again and, frogs permitting, explore south? Or shall we consider the castle secured?"
"Okay, Eric..." Khessa smiles at her beloved dwarf and begins to go down the stairs "I was thinking the same. Let's try going south then".
The blonde arcane warrior, as usual, sends Anator ahead to explore in that direction, while she and her friends descend... so, once the party arrives down, Anator should have had time to explore the southern path a bit.

I guess I read that wrong. I thought you guys were all coming down crocs first.
But if that's the plan I'll just need to know Calvin's Crocs init and actions.

So the swarms go first.
Swarm 1 attacks croc 1: 12 + 3 = 15 to hit, for 8 dmg
Swarm 2 attacks croc 2: 18 + 3 = 21 to hit, for 11 dmg
The 4 crocs can take their turn now.
Player: Any Good Alignment // DM: Lawful Evil
The four crocodiles team up to attack the swarm two at a time.
(Attack: 9 Damage: 4 piercing damage.
Attack: 11 Damage: 11 piercing damage.
Attack: 22 Damage: 10 piercing damage.
Attack: 18 Damage: 7 piercing damage.)

The first swarm is hit hard by the attacking crocs (even with resistance). About half of the swam is gone.
The second swarm desn't have that much trouble.
Swarm 1 attacks croc 1: 12 + 3 = 15 to hit, for 6 dmg.
Swarm 2 attacks croc 2: 16 + 3 = 19 to hit, for 7 dmg.
Player: Any Good Alignment // DM: Lawful Evil
The swarms continue in the attack and they manage to defeat one of the crocodiles.
The remaining three continue to attack.
(Attack: 23 Damage: 4
Attack: 18 Damage: 10
Attack: 10 Damage: 6)

Swarm 1 is gone, swarm 2 still has some Centipedes left. Looks like they've had enough and crawl away.
End of combat!

[[ OOC: Well... great! So as Khessa & friends arrive, the room is free? ]]
"Your scaly friends did a wonderful job, Calvin!" Khessa pats him on the shoulder, looking around.
If there is another exit, she sends her brother, Anator, on his precious scouting task.
Zale sheaths her rapier, glad to have avoided another fight. Once everyone is ready, she prepares to follow Khessa.
"Yes, good job, we have avoided a vicious fight!" Eric says, then he flanks Khessa going ahead
Yes, teh room is indeed free. Anator scouts ahead. The next room also seems to be empty. There are steps descending to the west.

While Anator is scouting the next room, Eric casts Detect Magic as ritual.
The room is indeed empty. Eric doesn't get any magical "pings".
I think Anator goes down the stairs?
Player: Any Good Alignment // DM: Lawful Evil
Yes, indeed! Anator explores descending (in flight) the stairs to the west.
The stairs lead back to the "Frog Lake".
Anator doesn't notice any frogs at the moment. He does notice a path leading to the south.

"What do you say, my friends?" Khessa shares what her brother discovered "Shall we try again and, frogs permitting, explore south? Or shall we consider the castle secured?"
"perhaps" Eric replies "we should consider exploring the southern path before considering the castle secured"
