Calvin nods his head to Nighthill, "Elturel. What can you tell us about Elturel? I also would like to take some time to research animals in this area. Is there anyone who would be able to accompany whilst I go exploring in the nearby areas? I have heard stories of a lizard-like creature that apparently hunts in packs. If there is such an animal nearby I would like to take the opportunity to see search a beast."
Elturel is a large, orderly city overlooking the River Chionthar and filled with merchants, river traders, and farmers’ markets. Its most distinguishing feature is a brilliant magical light that hovers above it, illuminating it day and night. This light is painful to undead and is visible from almost every corner of Elturgard of which Elturel is the capital , appearing from afar as a star or distant sun. On horseback, you can travel the 200 miles from Greenest to Elturel in about six days. I'd suggest that you look for your lizards ont the way, the Cult already has a head start.
Calvin nods his head, "I do hear what you are saying. However, preparation now can be a lifesaver later. Although, I would not want to keep the others waiting either.
Elturel, however, sounds like an interesting city. Perhaps they would have more resources to help me in my quest."
Calvin nods his head once more then departs. He then considers what he has at his disposal. He has his scimitar and his shield. They weren't the best, but then, he had taken to fighting in a beast form. He didn't really need anything else. Magical items would help, but he believed that he wouldn't find anything in Greenest. Elturel was sure to have something far more useful.
With nothing else to do, Calvin decides to retire for the night.

Zale laughs, "I suppose that makes sense. And I'm sure you'll be able to be as good as she is someday." At this point she would have made it to Regmar.
The dragonborn looks over the goods with tired eyes. She picks up each item individually, looking each over and mentally noting which set of studded leather is the best quality, before putting it back exactly where Regmar had set them. She does the same with each weapon, picking them up and testing the weight of each. As she does this she makes sure not to look to interested in any one of the items. Once done, she points out the three best of each type of item and asks how much he wants for each of them individually.
Investigation (with disadvantage): 17
Deception if necessary: 8
You're tired, very tired... you almost din't notice the little rune on a simple dagger. There are other that "look" better though. Do you take the best one? Or the one with the rune?
Zale will pick up the simple dagger and the best looking set of studded leather. "How much do you want for these?" She asks Regmar without mentioning the rune.
Occ: So I guess It will force us to postpone our journey at least of one day and is not guaranteed I’ll able to craft it. As alternative, Eric is also willing to buy a Splint armor at the local blacksmith hall and so he’ll be able to rest… how much would that cost in that case?
You explain your problem to the blacksmith. He's willing to the unfinished armor of your hands and sell you a Splint Armor at a discount. Let's say... 50gp? (You guys are quite popular in Greenest)

Regmar gives them a quick look. 2 gp for the Dagger, 40 gp for the Studded Leather. Are you ok? You look tired.

"Heheh, I do be tired," the dragonborn replies as she starts fishing out 42gp. She's not in the mood for haggling, but before she pulls out all the coin she asks, "How much would you give me for my leather armor? With this new armor, I don't be needin it anymore."
Khessa also, in spite of her good stamina, starts feeling tired, so, after letting Anator and Nixi familiarize some more, she advises: "We have accomplished a lot, today, my friend! Maybe should we go to rest now while we can? We will soon have to leave, if we wish to keep opposing the Cult's plans..."
The blonde arcane warrior puts Anator back on herself, near her neck, hidden by her long golden locks and, unless her gnome friend has more interesting plans, she heads back to the others for a well deserved rest.
'Greenest is safe now!' the tall adventuress thinks to herself, excited, on her way back 'And I've got back Anator also! Just a few more time and the Cult will be stopped for good. And I'll also get back the rest of my family - I'll get them back alive!'
Zeminny wanders into Greenest looking for his for his friends. Covered in swamp muck and embarrassed that he had gotten lost while looking for Eek. Got trapped in swamp, nearly eaten by a hag and gang of goblins. He only escaped because they were distracted by the strange song from a traveling Bugbear Bard named Burgle or something. He is hoping his companions were still here, as he has completely forgotten what it was he was going to do in town to begin with

You'll find you friends easily enough. Those that are still awake that is.
“Alright.” She says as she takes off the leather and places it on the counter. Then she fishes out 47 coins and takes the dagger and the armor. She’ll have to get one of her companions to look at the rune later. She turns around and starts walking to the inn.
The dwarf is exited in seeing his little friend "For grandpa's beard, Zeminny! Where have you been you rascal? I'm happy to see you alive and sound!" he laugh and hugs him, lifting him up from the ground "What happened to you?"
"So you also had your bad times I bet, although I won't ask further about potatoes thing.." the dwarf laugh patting the Halfling on his head " We also had our, many things to tell but not so much time" the dwarf mumbles "the war against the Cult is still on and we are about to leave for Elturel. I think we may benefit a lot from a skilled tactician as yourself, and we'll be glad to if you'll join us once again and we'll explain everything on the way, how does it sound?" then he looks to the other "It does sound good, doesn't it? Zeminny is an excellent scout... apart for his incident with potatoes" Eric shrugs "but I guess some accident may occur even to the bests of us all"
"By the way, let me introduce you to the others you may not know" then introduces the little Halfling to Khessa and Nixi
The tall woman in chainmail leans a little to comfortably shake the newcomer's hand and smiles openly at him, while a few strands of her thick, curly blond hair fall forward over her face, partially veiling the blue eyes which look at the halfling sympathetically: "Nice to meet you Zeminny! I'm Khessa! And it will be a great pleasure for me if you will join us! You know, as a scout I am a total wreck, others will be able to tell you about it..." she giggles, slightly embarrassed, recalling "last time I tried to sneak the result was similar to the ringing of bells of a village in celebration!"
"And this" the blonde arcane warrior pulls away a few strands from near her neck, showing a bat that, evidently, has remained perched there quietly "is my brother Anator" she turns her blue eyes to Eric for a moment. "This is news to you all too, I know - he was only recently reunited with me, thanks to a magical ritual I performed with Nixi. How Anator is now in bat body, is a long story… but rest assured that his soul (and mind) is that of a person, like you and me - a good and generous person, for that matter".
The dwarf caresses che tiny creature with his index finger "Oh nice to meet you little Anator!" he looks up to the blonde warrior "I don't know the way in which the souls of the dead travel between this world and the others. The gods shape the world like a blacksmith does with a blade, and during this process; sparks occur. Those sparks, I believe, are the substance of the miracles. Maybe Anator's soul has traveled from the outwardly plane to our plane of existence in this way, like a spark erupting from their forge"
"Thank you Eric," smiles, admiringly, Khessa "you are both very wise and very kind! Oh, and Anator thinks so too... It will mean something," she impulsively gives him a kiss on the cheek "if we both agree!"
“ Well met Miss Khessa and your bat brother Anator. I am Zeminny Crickit, the normally super lucky. I am happy to continue the fight against these draco-cultists. Did anyone find Eek?”
"We didn't, busy as we were opposing the Cult's plan here" Khessa is eager to explain "but some kobolds we've met speak of him as a king... If he's achieved this level of fame, I hope he won't be too hard to find. At best, it remains to be seen whether he'll be willing to grant us an audience... but, if I understand correctly, his 'queen' travels with us... so maybe we will have the honor to be admitted to his presence".
