Brac walks with strength in his stride, he finds happiness in this party of mismatched folk and is still excited for adventure. The quick battle had invigorated him. The chest sat upon his shoulder with his arm wrapped up the side keeping it steady.
Elyot notices something strange with the patch of land in front of the party. After a moment he realizes its a disguised pit trap. He would need to stop his party members or they will fall into the trap.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"H-hey everyone, stop!" Elyot exclaims so that everyone else in the party will hear it. "See that? Something's not right." He points his lantern in the direction of the trap before carefully walking over towards the edge. "Woah, think a hunter made this? We should be careful from here on out, there could be more..." The Halfling produces a set of Thieves' Tools to attempt to disarm the trap so everyone can pass safely. (Not that I'd know how you "disarm" a pit trap). 4
Elyot lifts up the flimsy wooden cover revealing the pit trap. Inside the pit the party can see wooden spikes covering the pit trap's floor. The party can walk around the trap.
At this point the party is pushing 8 hours of travel and would need to rest or risk exhaustion.
"I need...less rest than most", offers Galfaen. "I suggest I take the first watch".
Wordlessly, he hands out dried rations to each of the party. He does not partake himself, instead finding a spot where he can observe the encampment whilst his senses adjust to the light and the sounds of the wilderness.
Deathless Nature
You have escaped death, a fact represented by the following benefits:
You have advantage on saving throws against disease and being poisoned, and you have resistance to poison damage.
You have advantage on death saving throws.
You don’t need to eat, drink, or breathe.
You don’t need to sleep, and magic can’t put you to sleep. You can finish a long rest in 4 hours if you spend those hours in an inactive, motionless state, during which you retain consciousness.
Waves a dismissive hand Alhorn's praise. "It was nothing, really. Sloppy design by whomever set it up." His attention then turns to Galfaen. "I could go for some rest, my feet are killing me."
Once the party has decided on a good spot to set up camp, Elyot settles down to do some maintenance of his various tools. Occasionally jotting down a few notes into his journal.
Alhorn reaches out and accepts the rations from Galfaen "Thank you my friend" he says. Alhorn takes out his bed roll, puts it on the ground, sits and begins eating his rations.
Brac sets himself up a spot near the others. He looks to the sky , quietly admiring its beauty.
"Hey Galfean, I might sit this chest with you whilst you are on watch. I am happy to keep carrying it but we should keep it safe. Feel free to stir me if you need to rest brother. I am happy to take next watch if need be." Brac lets out an unessisarliy loud yawn. He sits himself down on his bedroll, lays back and triee for some rest.
Stumbling almost nearly into the pit trap, Bardan seemed incredibly thankful for not being skewed
Bardan slumped himself against a nearby tree, his shovel left in the ground standing straight up."You folks take a rest then. I'll take the shift after you, my friend." He gestured to Gaelfan
Galfaen wishes that his eyes were better in the dark, or that he possessed the keen senses of a wolf. The intermittent snoring of his weary companions also serves to mask sounds outside the camp, no matter how hard he strains his ears. Unbidden, a sense of past awareness fills his mind, helping him to filter out the noises.

Knowledge from a Past Life
You temporarily remember glimpses of the past, perhaps faded memories from ages ago or a previous life. When you make an ability check that uses a skill, you can roll a d6 immediately after seeing the number on the d20 and add the number on the d6 to the check. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Brac rises from his slumber, he stubbles over to a nearby tree to empty his bladder, yawning in the process. He head back to his things and grabs his waterskin for a quick drink and splashes some water on his face to help wake him up.
"How are you doing brother?" He sits down next to Galfean. ""Nothing out of the ordinary?"
The buzzing of the insects is incessant, but Galfaen notices the the sounds of leather wing flaps making its way to the party's campsite. I will assume there is a camp fire. You see 4 of them in the light of the campfire. Something like a crossbreed of a bat and an insect, wings its way to feast on the party members.
