“Well, looks like we got more information then we’d expected from following those louts,” Kyrsa says to Mina. “Don’t worry, we’ll get to the bottom of this.” She smiles, “First though, like you said, we’ve got a mission to complete.” She gives a small laugh at Tamryn’s comment, and a trace of green appears in her hair if only for a moment. Still, she doesn’t remark on it, instead saying, “Well, stay safe all of you. Let’s try to get this done before Akyan’s link times out.” With that, she begins heading towards the secret entrance, waiting only for Mina to follow her.
Mina's eyes widen as Tamryn suggests the possibility that her brother might actually be of the circle. That had never occurred to her and she feels herself turning a bit red with the shame that she automatically assumed the worst of him. He might not even be another one of the circle, but might be trying to infiltrate for another reason? Gah... so many thoughts go rushing through her head as she stands frozen for a minute.
Kyrsa commenting on the mission breaks her out of her own thoughts and she nods, following her towards the secret entrance.
Lyndaran will asume the disguise of the less talkative of the half-orcs and follow the others after thanking the cleric for his help. He pats Mina on the shoulder, feeling her conmotion at Tamryn’s idea. “Something to consider indeed. We will see..” he says to her with a smile.
(From post 1821, the half-orc's names were: Nothrig (boss) Logrum (timid, bag-holder) Buknog (aggressive) and Azar (overconfident, impatient))
Mina and Kyrsa: The secret entrance that Nyblond indicated is concealed within a huge sculpture on the east side of the building. Are you being stealthy? Anything besides just walking right up to it?
Jhaartael turns to Tamryn, Akyan and Lyndaran and says, "I will impersonate the violent one, Buknog I believe he was called."
Jhaartael casts disguise self, transforming into Buknog the half-orc. Assuming that the other three male elves also disguise themselves, as you approach the tower, there is now no line at either gate, north or south. You recall from before that those desiring entry would speak to the guard through the gate, and then be examined more closely once inside the barred entryway.
(OOC: Yes we will try to be stealthy as we get closer to the sculpture.)
As Kyrsa and Mina get closer to the secret entrance, Kyrsa murmurs, "We should try to remain undetected. Not only do we not want others to know we are entering the place, but we also don't want anyone to know about this secret entrance." She glances up at the sculpture as if admiring it for a moment before they move off the main path--at which point she moves towards the shadows and does her best to remain unseen or at least unsuspicious.
Mina silently slips behind the statue and activates the mechanism that Nyblond detailed, causing a panel to retract leaving a narrow opening. She steps through just as Kyrsa's armor accidentally clanks against the statue. Her arm darts out of the entrance, grabs Kyrsa and hauls her through, closing the panel before anyone comes to investigate.
Mina and Kyrsa find themselves in a circular, 15-foot diameter room, containing a spiral staircase that goes both up and down. Directly opposite the secret door they just entered is another exit, with a small plaque affixed that says "Floor 1", apparently operated by a lever protruding from the wall just to the left. This landing of the stairwell is lit by two torches ensconced on the walls, and looking up and down, similar lighting is apparent above and below. You see no one else in the immediate vicinity.
The four amigos, appropriately orcified, approach the South Gate, noting that the former queue has all but disappeared. A Black Dragonborn peers at you through the iron bars and says, "Yer late. Name and Division." (You have a mental flashback to the conversation in post 1901.) Also behind the guard are a green-skinned male tiefling and two humans, a blond male and a red-haired female, all wearing studded leather armor.
Akyan, arms crossed, eyes Tamryn and does his best to look impatient. Then he looks over the three people standing behind the guards to try to get a read on them. (Do they work together? If so who's in charge? If not are they similar rank?)

Then he glances around the area to get a better idea of it's layout.
"Hmm," says Tamryn, "I wonder if your brother is another one of the Circle, trying to infiltrate these slavers?"
To Akyan, he says, "Fair enough. If no-one prefers the role, I'll be Nogrith, he of the weak arm." He winks at Kyrsa as he says it.

Yeah Nogrith, that's totally what I said.

(Just so you know, Nogrith probably would say Security.... One of the other's said Protection and Nogrith corrected him...)
(I was assuming that was because he was talking to potential victims and didn't want to make it sound criminal; possibly a moot point with that roll)
