This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kyrsa, doing her best to push aside the flash of embarrassment she'd experienced upon her armor clanking on the statue, scans the room and takes note of the "Floor 1" (I'm assuming this is an elevator of sorts?). She takes a step forward, then tilts her head to listen and see if she can hear any indication of some unseen people moving about further up the stairwell and beyond.
Perception: 21
After a moment of quiet she whispers to Mina, "Well it seems we have two options, up or down. I suggest we go upwards, as the safest place for sensitive documents or other secrets is the highest floor. Additionally, a fire on the highest floor will be more difficult to put out." She gives a smile, "Of course, we don't really need to go all the way up, but if we want to collect anything for our friend Nyblond, then I just have a feeling that we are more likely to find something up there. We can start a fire wherever we can once we are ready to jump ship."
Akyan grunts, "Protection, Security whatever you want to call it, let's just hurry this up." The drow didn't observe this orc's personality very closely, but he hopes this sounds impatient but not to impatient.
(He's attempting to use the help action to give Tamryn advantage.)
Tamryn turns and glares at Azar/Akyan. "Shush," he says, "Grown-ups are talking." (Deception, in case we get advantage: 11 (sigh, i have +5 in Deception)).
If the mental link is still up, he says thanks mentally
Akyan, arms crossed, eyes Tamryn and does his best to look impatient. Then he looks over the three people standing behind the guards to try to get a read on them. (Do they work together? If so who's in charge? If not are they similar rank?)
The four guards are basically inside an airlock. A gate opens to the outside world, and opposite that, a door leads into the tower. The four of them have a small desk, four chairs, and seem to be treating each other as equals.
The dragonborn nods at Tamryn's answer, and looks at a list tacked on the wall. "Yeah, all right, yer the last ones to check in for the night. Don't know what you're so testy about, we're the ones that had to wait for you. All right, come on in, one at a time. You know the drill." He swings the gate open.

(Not an elevator, just a spiral staircase with landings at each floor. The doors are numbered in case you forget where you are :)
(Nyblond told you that the documents he wants are in the office on the third floor.)
Tamryn/Nogrith walks through the gate. If there is someone on the other side, he will say, "They didn't move the drop-off while we were out today, right? First door on the left?" with a wink.
(OOC: Oh, I thought that the door across from us led to an elevator, and the lever would control the pulley system or something. I guess the lever is for the entrance we just came through. I also must have missed when Nyblond gave us the location of the documents. My bad lol. Can Kyrsa make out anything coming from upstairs or downstairs?)

(You have just entered the "airlock", not the main building.)
The human female reaches for Tamryn's thumb ring and inspects it. She nods to the tiefling, who opens the inner door, and says, "First door...? I thought you said you were with Protection. That's up on the second floor..."
"He's joking, you moron,"says the woman. "Half-orcs all think they're hilarious." She rolls her eyes. "Next!"
(They wait for Tamryn to enter the building before the next person is admitted to the "airlock".)

(Sorry, my poor descriptive skills)
Mina and Kyrsa are in a cylinder that extends upwards to the 8th floor, and down into the ground to an unknown depth. This cylinder contains a spiral staircase around the inner wall. At each landing is a door that lead into the interior of the tower. This door is marked with the corresponding floor number. The lever beside the door opens the door, which on its other face is a disguised secret door. On the first or ground floor, there is an extra door, leading out of the building, exiting through the sculpture. (The same way you entered the secret stairwell).
Tamryn waggles his eyebrows at the woman checking his ring. "Anytime you like I'll give you a chance to tickle my funny bone." He then walks through the door and waits for the others.
One by one the four disguised elves give their names and their division, and are admitted into the southern hallway of the first floor. They proceed northward until coming into a large open room with a fireplace in the northeast corner and a large staircase to the west. The stairs have two guards standing at the bottom, checking that anyone who goes up has a token granting them access to upper levels. There is a set of double door directly to the north, as well as doors on the southern and eastern walls of this main room.
The levels above all follow this same floorplan, except instead of guard stations at the north and south, there is a ringed balcony on each floor above, patrolled by guards.
Mina and Kyrsa are in the Secret stair on the eastern side of the building.
Tamryn shows his amulet with two snakes on it to the guards, pretending to be impatient to get his delivery done. When out of earshot, he quietly says to Akyan, "You might want to ask Kyrsa and Mina to meet us on the second floor. Without a distraction, I doubt we can sneak past the guards to the third. But if we're stealthy, we could take the secret passage."
You make your way up the spiral staircase cautiously, and hear nothing other than your own echoing footsteps. Upon arriving at the landing to the third floor, Mina puts her ear to the door, and hears murmuring voices beyond, but cannot make out the words. It does not sound like the speakers are directly outside the door, they are probably several yards away.

Akyan clenches his jaw and glares at Tamryn/Nogrith, "We wouldn't be late, if you hadn't let Buknog try to jump that drunk."

"Well then," Kyrsa whispers. "Lets get up to the third floor and see what we can find."
Mentally she says to Akyan, "We are in, and heading up to the third floor if we can. Will keep you posted on our location."
Mina nods to Kyrsa and slowly makes her way up, not wanting to make any sounds and be aware of anyone possibly entering the staircase.
When (if) they reach the third floor, she presses her ear against the door, straining to hear anything.
Perception 7
Akyan enters after Tamryn and shows his ring while looking irritated at the whole process.
"That's good, we are entering at this moment."
