Valathar follows as well, helping Ab along the way. The blow to his ribs seemed grievous, and Valathar wasn't going to let one of his newly found close friends fall behind!
The party practically stampedes to the smithy, metal clinging all over, shoes scuffing obnoxiously on the ground, leaving deep trenches that a five year old could track, but you all made it!
Behind you, you can hear a very deep roar of frustration, and Kor through your telepathic bond you can see a very hairy bear-like human clenching his feet in pain. The other two lackeys following him slow down once they hear his roar, and are a good 60 feet behind him, approaching very slowly and carefully now.
The smithy is a modestly sized shack in the town. The actual store front is mostly wooden, and seems to have been transplanted onto a old stone ruin, as most of the outdoors section where the actual furnace, anvil, and cooling stations are at is mostly made out of the withered gray stone material the rest of the ruins are made out of. The furnace is dead aside from a few glowing embers, and the store front is locked with a large "out for lunch!" sign propped on the door.
"We need to disappear. Openly murdering the people of this town isn't going to help anyone, regardless of how disliked they are. I can summon a rolling fog, but it's pretty condensed. If we could lead them somewhere with multiple exits, we might be able to slip away unseen."
Valathar looks around the building as quick as possible for an alleyway or short side road with multiple exits.
AB, you frustratingly try forcing the door multiple times, but the locks on the shack are of surprisingly good quality, guess it makes sense since he is the only blacksmith in town.
Val, this is a rural town, and lots of the buildings seem to be pretty spread apart. The smithy itself is close by to the towns-center, but unless you all have a stroke of luck, it would be difficult to successfully lose your tracks. If you do decide to smoke away, I would be willing to give +4 to stealth rolls for a similar group sneak activity.
After checking the link with Mimi, Kor says, "It looks like Klarg's human cousin is chasing us with two Red goons a little ways behind. I'm betting it's that enforcer AB and I heard about from before. Val's right, murdering our way through this isn't a good option. If we can't escape, let me try talking first. I might be able to bluff our way out."
Kor then studies Berrus, using him as a model to create a similarly attired 5 foot tall dwarf using Minor Illusion in order for the group to appear more formidable in case a confrontation is unavoidable.
AB's doing whatever the others say.

I think that's my first Natural 20 this game! Woo! haha
AB will try the door to the smithy. If it's locked, he'll attempt to pick the lock using his thieves' tools: 10. If it isn't locked, he'll go in.

"On the bright side, if a fight is unavoidable, the towns folk dont seem too fond of these men."
