Harrow shakes his head, wishing he could divine where these persimmons hailed from. After communicating his lack of information to the group, he also takes a closer look at the fruit and the area where he'd found it.

Walt has a trick up his sleeve that he hopes will his friends uncover some supporting evidence for their theories. He told his friends of his plan to transform into a mastiff and that he’ll meet up with them shortly.
”Remember, don’t be frightened when I stroll up beside you in beast form. I assure you, I’m quite docile,” say’s Walt with a little chuckle.
As his friends left for the Xungoon stall, Walt slipped away to an area out of sight from the crowds and used wild shape to transform into a mastiff. Once in his beast from he meandered through the marketplace to rejoin the party. As he walks up on the Tuuli and Harrow, he spots then investigating what appears to be a persimmon under one of the tables.
Walt will stroll up beside his friends and nuzzles up beside them announcing his presence. He looks up to them, panting heavily and looks back at the persimmon and makes a soft bark. He will smell the persimmon and try to pick up a scent trail to track.

"What the- whoa! Nice doggie!"Tuuli jumps as the very large dog nuzzles her trailing hand, but recovers. "Oh, yeah, um, Har Wal..ly. -Harry-, Wally the dog. Our dog. Who likes off-kilter fruit. What's that, boy, you have a scent?"
Tuuli examines the persimmon but makes little of it. Harrow takes a look at it, as well: It's a little bruised on one side – where it struck the ground, probably. There is nothing to see above them except strings of lights, the tops of neighboring stalls, and a gloriously starry night sky.
Walt-Mastiff trots onto the scene and sniffs the fruit next. Even fighting with a thousand other unusual and unfamiliar scents here in the night market, there's an odd extra smell to the fruit – beyond the smell of the fruit itself. Natural yet unworldly. He'll know it if he smells it again.
Rycroft keeps an eye out from afar, but there's nothing to see right now except business as usual.

Walt focuses in on the unique smell of the persimmon. He heard the story of Kasem planting something under the table at the Xungoon stall before the persimmon rain shower. Walt breaks out into a sprint and makes his way towards the Aroon brother’s stall.
Once he arrives there he’ll keep an eye out for Kasem.
If he see’s Kasem, he’ll walk up to him and try to pick up the sent by performing a perception check with advantage.

Harrow pockets the persimmon and races after Tuuli and Walt, wondering what it feels like to run around as a quadruped. He waves to Rycroft, before he gets more than a few steps away, making sure the kenku sees them go.
Walt-Mastiff trots over to the Spicy Brothers stall, where Kasem is busy serving cucumber fire smoothies, honey-glazed hot chips, and fresh, rare peppers to his customers.
He nuzzles Kasem's hand as he is trying to deliver a bag of peppers, and gets a whiff – distant, vague, but there's a hint of that same scent he just detected on the persimmon. But it's hard to tell for sure. Kasem scratches Walt-Mastiff behind the ear and then pushes him away.
Tuuli, Walt, and Rycroft (unless he has other plans) are on the scene moments later. Kasem smiles and nods, but he has his hands full with customers at the moment.
"Hello," replies Kasem distractedly as finishes his transaction with his pepper customer, an impatient old man with a tall hat. "He's still down at the market games I think. Busy night, but it was our turn to run the game."
Kasem turns to glance at Harrow's fruit and squints at it for a second before serving the next customer in line – a loud woman asking for hot chips. He gives you a vague nod. "Come back in a little bit if you want a smoothie! We're making a fresh batch!"
Harrow scans the area for magic. There's the main Spicy Brothers stall where they prepare and serve their food, plus a tent, evidently for storing supplies and conducting business, next to it. Peering arcanely through everything he can see, Harrow detects nothing with a magical signature.
Harrow returns the persimmon to his pocket with a nod. Shrugging to Tuuli, he smiles at Kasem and says, "A smoothie does sound rather nice. I'll do just that!"
To the others, he'll murmur: "Personally, I don't feel comfortable leading the charge without some kind of proof, so I'm going to snoop around a little bit. Call for me if you find something, or if I'm needed."
He'll then stroll casually over to the opening to their other tent, peering inside to see if any people or arcane auras are visible within.
Harrow carefully slips into the Spicy Brothers' private tent without notice. The tent contains business records, two cots, a large crate marked “peppers”, and a box of persimmons, among other mundane and personal items. Nothing emanates an arcane aura.
Harrow, seeing the cages, pokes his head out of the tent surreptitiously, trying to catch the party's attention if they're still nearby and signaling silently that they may be interested in what's inside.

Harrow carefully slips into the Spicy Brothers' private tent without notice. The tent contains business records, two cots, a large crate marked “peppers”, and a box of persimmons, among other mundane and personal items. Nothing emanates an arcane aura.
Harrow looks around for anything that might show Kasem and/or Vi's involvement, shuffling through the records and such quickly.
Investigation: 8
Harrow flips through the records and quickly examines the tent.
The box marked "peppers" does not contain peppers, but rather holds three used, straw-lined bird cages.
The records mostly appear to be routine accounting books, supply lists, and the like. It looks like Kasem recently went on a lengthy supply run.
The box of persimmons contains ordinary persimmons.
Harrow, seeing the cages, pokes his head out of the tent surreptitiously, trying to catch the party's attention if they're still nearby and signaling silently that they may be interested in what's inside.
