Ok so guys this is not working how I wanted to so I am restarting the campaign and we will take a vote.
What is the vote for you ask? Well you will vote for either evil or good and whichever gets the most votes is what we'll do. So if good wins we will do something like this but better and more thought out. If evil wins we will try to take over the world and rule the universe.
So the question is do you want to rule the universe or protect it?
As a character, Yuno is okay with either as long as she is allowed to murder real people and not robots. She doesn't really want to rule anything but just go kill shit.
That being said, I may need to rethink my character depending on which way the campaign goes. I'll hold on to my vote until I see what everyone else wants.
Id like hero. Im thru with villains... Seems to me like everyone just want to be murder hobos. Which i hate and its just working in groups.
Maewyn can be evil but id preffer good. I can make another character if need be !!!

I really like my "Venom" type character, and don't really want to give it up or change it, so I would say go evil. On the other hand, I'm already DM'ing a villain campaign where we take over the world..... I'm pretty torn. I guess I'll go good, but everyone needs the anti-hero.

Thats the thing... I hate anti-hero because basically they are not heroes... They dont save worlds they just add to the violence and problems...
My two cents...
Again if were going heroes i expect people to be.... Well good. And if we go villains i expect people to be evil. In these games there is no middle ground where you can be evil when you want to and be good once in a while. Just saying in super heroes genre there is a reason why anti heroes works alone and only do team works once in a while.
Exemples... Punisher, ghost rider they work alone or with people like them. They dont team up with say spiderman or ironman because their way is that dark.
So if you want to make a choice...
It would be ... Good evil or dark and edgy.
From what i can see since the beginning. It is that some of you didnt understand the concept from the get go. A murder hobo who just want to murder is evil pure and simple. It cannot be good. It could pass in a dark and edgy game where there is no definition of good and evil. What makes venom works... Its that the symbiote actually learns from the host. Venom is not a villain and definitely not an anti hero. He actually helps people because he learned that. Here all i see is your character who just turns into a murder hobo. Thats evil if you dont have control on the other part. Exemple hulk... Good guy... Actually learns from the people around him.
While i like the idea of such characters... They work only in suicide squad type game. Which this game was not.
For me.... I made maewyn as a hero who wants to help people even her enemies... That would definitely not work with murder hobos. I can make her into something else but at that point if we go edgy and dark or evil... Ill make another character instead. One that will fit more.

I actually constructed Yuo's character to be a murder hobo without actually being a murder hobo. As far as I know, when goblins attack the party, the goblins get murderer 90% of the time. Yuno was constructed to enjoy this. So she would kill goblins and orcs which would've been killed by other party members if she didn't do it and because she is satisfied with killing said goblins and orcs, she would not go murder NPCs, captive goblins and orcs, or plot important enemies.
The real question is... Would the avengers or the justice league ever pick your character to work with them ?
A murderer stays a murderer if you ask me. I mean, i dont expect good guys to kill goblins or orcs. Because i dont expect good guys to kill people.
But thats my expectation.
Since i already gave my two cents... Ill wait and see on the others.

I honestly don't see a character who goes around wanting to kill people as a "hero." If you feel criminals need to pay and they should die.... that is one thing. Not strictly hero material but you can logically and even in a weird way philosophically understand. But to have a desire to just kill..... not so much. That doesn't mean you don't train to become good at killing. It is just not your goal and aim in life.

From the looks of the posts above, most of the players lean to good and the campaign will turn into protecting the planet as its mission. If the DM permits it, we could all make another character to accomodate the changes in the campaign if we resume the current timeline or start another one.

tell me what you think. Decided to go the lab rat way instead. Much left to the DM. do what you want with it.
Background in the backstory section. i'll post it here as well for others if they want to make something with me. Best way to work is to get some players to have things together.
Jayni doesn't remember much of his previous life before the incident. He's not even sure Jayni is his real name. One day, he woke up in a room with an old woman. he had this cat collar around his neck with the word Jayni on it. The woman told him to stay put, that it was almost over and that he needed to sleep more. She tryed to inject him with a grayish blue liquid in a suringe. Once the product was injected, Jayni felt more and more like a cat, he wanted to be fed, he wanted to be free he wanted to be pet. These injections continued for a week. each day a new injection and he would feel those thoughts and emotions rush in, then he would fall asleep for about 12 hours. One day his feelings of freedom were too strong for him to handle. He decided he had enough. He fainted sleeping still, as the woman approached him, he jumped at her and claws from his fingers came out and he just clawed her face. He wrestled her, she got injected by her own product. Jayni ran away, but when he finally saw the light of day, coming out of that basement he was in. Many people were watching him. He was in front of a veterinarian office.
After that day he lived his life as a homeless. stealing what he could to survive. it became second nature to him. but he realised others could profit as well. he shouldn't be the only one who should be in that grace. and so he started stealing to make the life of others improved. It wasn't long before he was caught stealing from someone he shouldn't have gone near. Jayni made it to a prison and passed about a whole year there. that's where they diagnosed him with Kleptomania. the name Jayni stuck to him. after all thats what his collar is saying.
Since his release from prison, he's been trying to hide himself and his stealing impulse. Prefering to be free then going back to prison. He eventually learned of ways to make money out of musics. Now he lives as an artist in a nice appartment. he's a well known artist known. he does a few bars, a few local gigs. People even think he plays an acts because they can't understand a cat doing music. He calls himself Kat'A'Tonic. People like him and his music. But what they don't know... Jayni lives during the night shifts as well. continuing to steal from people, even things he doesn't need. Helping others has been part of his life and will always be. the robin hood act, he thinks. stealing from those who deserves to be poor to give to those who deserves a better life. One day balance will be restored. One day things will be right again, in the city that made him !

So here is a small list that is not allowed for a character.
Serial killer, op Superman, Thanos, Galactus.
I'm leaning to good. In case it turns evil due to majority vote, I want at least a reason for us to unite for a common goal.
I don't want for characters to kill each other in the middle of the campaign as that would affect future campaigns in case players have grudges.
I would really like to see a hero one at this point over villians. I could do either but prefer good guys at this point
