Gilded looks at Arthur with a bit more respect. "I Gilded, Knight of Glazing Winds, and Paladin of Iroas, do return your oath. Your friends will be protected above all others, may Iroas give me the strength and fortitude to return us all back together." Gilded will embrace the short human, before turning and following Jess the wolf into the forest.
Alright so basically Corvus will have his familiar scout those areas, then it will come back to him. He will also use his action to share a gaze with it.
The little dragon swoops back and lands on Corvus' shoulder. "It appears we may have some company in this area. There seems to be about four of them. Two to the north, one to the south, and one on top of this ridge here." He gestures with his head so that it doesn't realize he knows it's there.
Drezmir wonders whether or not Gilded just wants to keep an eye on Corvus, or if there is something else he's trying to accomplish by trading places with Arthur. He know's that the paladin hasn't shown much trust towards the other group, but...well he hadn't expected...it doesn't matter. Choosing not to question it, he turns to Arthur, "Well, are we ready? If you have a general idea of which way the bandits ran, I can probably pick up the trail."
Once they have a heading, Drezmir will search the area for any telltale signs of runaway bandits.
Arthur had grinned as a spark returned to his eyes when the two had shook on the arrangement.
"I can trust in that oath, thank you.. Both of you."
He looks to Jess offering her a playful wink as Leonard smacks Arthur's shoulder one last time before the groups split off. As Jess dashes ahead as a wolf Corvus remembers he saw something up ahead.. Or someone perhaps? Though Jess's senses are not the most.. Perceptive in this moment she manages to stay on the trail at the very least. Leonard perception roll

Meanwhile.. Arthur offers Drezmir to take point but he will still follow Drezmir's tracking ability. He manages to find marks among the ground.. Sparks and scratches the land had looked disturbed like a battle had happened here with steel and magic. Arthur looks back at Sy and his strange comment as he offers a slight chuckle at the man.

"I've got the trail," Drezmir says. "This way." He proceeds to lead the way down the path he'd just discovered. "I don't know how far ahead they are, but perhaps it would be good to start planning how we will go about capturing them when we do find them. Arthur, do you have any idea how many there could be? Just based on your previous encounter with them?"
Drezmir nods, "Good idea. And Arthur, you can work on whoever the toughest looking guy is, once's he's down..." He hesitates, realizing that Arthur had no idea that Drezmir was capable of "temporary" necromancy. He also realizes that they probably don't want to kill anyone if it can be helped. So he pushes that idea aside...these were bandits they were talking about, like the Jet brothers...not the Hill Giants. "Well... it will be a lot easier for us to take the others down. I'll help if I can, or I can focus on whoever's left over after you choose your targets."
Corvus instructs his familiar to fly ahead of Jess, (I think we are going south.) and try to pinpoint the bandits. Corvus will also fly up next to Jess then land on the ledge just above and to her left. From that position, he will look over the area below.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Arthur crosses his arms thinking for a moment at Drezmir's question.
"I.. Didn't keep track after a certain point but they were all pushovers honestly. So perhaps I got a little cocky.. Heh heh.. My bad."
Arthur tilted his head at Drezmir curiously at his comment.
"I can take on the biggest looking guy no problem! I usually handle the front lines."
As the group carries on they can hear.. A rather loud rumbling. What was that? Clanking of metal? The sound of footsteps? Many footsteps could be heard. The horde hadn't seen them yet but higher on the mountaintops was was an elven woman with a bow. Shooting an arrow downwards!

The familiar had noticed three others down lower on the mountain (updated map) and the enemies hiding ahead were two rather large men with greataxe's in hide armor. They hadn't spotted Corvus but they had however spotted the rather loud flapping of the familiar. The familiar was able to see below the mountain three more strange men. All wielding blades and wearing lighter armor. The two men with axes had came out running toward the flying familiar.
"Hey we can cook that up right!?"
"You idiot I bet we could sell a creature like that for some good money! Just don't hit it too hard!"
The two of them had sheathed their greataxes on their back throwing handaxe's at the familiar! (The axe having light property each one can throw one.)

OOC If the party is surprised by that 25 the horde will close in before they can prepare/sneak.
The party will not be "Surprised" but instead flung into initiative quickly. I know by RAW surprise would be the thing here but the horde is 11 guys in chainmail two handing longswords. I'd just say it catches them off guard (Flung into initiative) but a full on surprise might feel silly with the armory/size of the enemy they are fighting ^^
Smaller group/lighter armor I might have been a bit harsher ;3
Also the Familiar is "Vanished" for now.
The two men with greataxe's approach drawing their weapons. Corvus is hidden but the rest of the party must roll for stealth as well ^^
"Alright, sounds like a plan," Drez replies, pressing onwards as he speaks.
Upon hearing the oncoming army, Drez looks up just in time to see the elf take aim at him.
Dodging the arrow, he says, "Ohhhkay, well, we found them a bit sooner then I'd anticipated." He quickly pulls out his crossbow to return fire on the elf maiden.
Initiative: 7
Attack for whenever my first turn is... (crossbow vs elf archer)
(Ahh, the curse! The curse of the 9's has transferred over to this dice roller too! Nooooolol :D )
Drezmir, attempting to do a quick draw (like a cowboy), is a little slow to pull out his crossbow as it gets caught on his new rapier...knocking out the bolt he'd pre-loaded earlier and forcing him to reload before shooting (such low initiative lol). Being used to instinctive archery, Drez doesn't take the time to aim, instead loosing the bolt at the last location the elf maiden had been...but she is no longer there.... so he misses... Ah, just like the good old days.
He will rush toward the closest bandit that is now not holding any weapons (sheaths one, throws one) and does a vow on enmity when he is 10 feet away and attacks when he is cclose enough.
Gilded looks at Arthur with a bit more respect. "I Gilded, Knight of Glazing Winds, and Paladin of Iroas, do return your oath. Jess chooses north. She will stalk the area of interest as a wolf.
Some possibly relevant rolls:
Stealth 10 (rolled an 8 with Jess's +2 and add 2 more for wolf form)
Survival 13
Perception 8
( Dang those are some pretty sad rolls, performance anxiety in front of the new people! )

Kocino give Drez’s question some thought. “If we can catch up, I can slip behind them and work on their less armored friends.”

(Haha that poor little dragon)
The psuedodragon lets out a loud yelp before vanishing. (I'm guessing the others can see the two that tried to catch it)
Corvus hisses at Jess, pointing in the direction of the other four to the Northeast. Once he has her attention, he holds up four fingers.

Oh, I should have rolled perception lol...
Perception: 16
Advantage for hearing/smell (blood hunter trait): 20
So if we aren't "surprised" do we still need to roll initiative right now? I guess I jumped the gun a little on this one lol.
Gilded initiative: 16
He will rush toward the closest bandit that is now not holding any weapons (sheaths one, throws one) and does a vow on enmity when he is 10 feet away and attacks when he is cclose enough.
"Why dont you fight a slightly bigger dragon"
To hit: 24 damage: 9
OOC
For those who don't match perception with the stealth roll they will have to roll initative in the south group yes.
There are a total of 12 enemies.
A large armored bandit horde in front of you and an elven archer on the mountain cliffside high above.
Initiative
Bandit Horde initiative: (Mob Rules) 15
Elven Archer: 11
Drezmir: 7
If you want we can do this battle on a side group chat here for the players involved ^^
OOC
So after throwing the hand-axe they would reach back for their weapons when rushing over. But I do like Gilded's vigor!
I shall prepare two separate battle maps ^^
