Tap looked towards the closest Grung, the crystal that hung from his neck glowed as traced otherworldly symbols in the air and chanted in the unsettling multi-toned voice of a lower devil. When he finished the casting, the Grung felt sluggish and less agile as the curse gripped him.
With the hex in place, Tap shouldered his crossbow and fired at the cursed Grung.
If Tap isn't within 90ft of the closest Grung he moves until he is

As the curse grips the nearest Grung he lets out a deep croak and focuses his attention on Tap. As Tap let's loose the crossbow bolt the Grung ducks underneath it avoiding the bolt.
The rest of the Grungs raise their fists up in the air and croak with their cursed brethren.
Zach and Kaslo are up.
Zach is 20 feet from the grungs and is kneeling by Thor and Krav. Kaslo is 20 feet from the statue or Zach's group and 40' from the grungs. There is a large 10 statue of a Chultan male glowing a bright white color, shedding light in a 20' radius all around it

Greggor is noticeably unsettled by the low gutteral noises comming out of Tap as he goes through his incantation. A thought flashes through Greggors mind: If kenku can only mimic what they have heard before, where in the nine hells did Tap hear that?
At seeing the Kenku release a crossbow bolt at the Grungs Kaslo frowns and says, "Well I guess the time for talking is over!".
Kaslo move his full 25ft of movement to get into range. Then he raises his hands with his fingers all spread out and thumbs touching, and you see fire erupting out from each fingertip!

Fire erupts from Kaslo's fingertips and flashes towards the Grung. The Grung look surprised by the action but was able to jump, dodge and duck out of the way negating most of the flames from directly hitting them.
Zachariah quickly looks back at Thor as he is standing (using 15 feet of movement). "Stay down until someone can heal you properly," he advises. Readying his shield and warhammer, Zachariah rushes toward the Grungs (moving 15 feet). While running, he opens his soul to his surroundings, searching for that inner light which alerts him to the powers of Heaven and Hell around him (Action: Divine Sense).
Divine Sense evidently doesn't have a tooltip. Here's what it is: The presence of strong evil registers on your senses like a noxious odor, and powerful good rings like heavenly music in your ears. As an action, you can open your awareness to detect such forces. Until the end of your next turn, you know the location of any celestial, fiend, or undead within 60 feet of you that is not behind total cover. You know the type (celestial, fiend, or undead) of any being whose presence you sense, but not its identity (the vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich, for instance). Within the same radius, you also detect the presence of any place or object that has been consecrated or desecrated, as with the hallow spell.
Vart watches Zachariah rush towards the Grung and fall just short of them to be able to attack so Vart rushes forward, dodging around the statue to get within ten feet of the Grung. Vart begins to take a deep breath and Zachariah can feel the air around him getting colder as he can see steam coming out of his mouth.
Vart looks towards the Grung and exhales a large cone of frost that hits the Grungs, covering them all in a sheet of ice for a moment before exploding, Bits and pieces of Grung fly everywhere showering the place with frozen Grung parts.

The light from the Chultan Male statue begins to fade as the humming stops. The only light is now coming from Thor's Warhammer that is laying near the statue where he dropped it.
Thor stands up. "By Tempus' Might!! Don't touch that statue!.... Yet... That was a wild ride..." Thor collects his belongings and gathers himself. Thanking his comrades for coming to his rescue."I really appreciate the hurried response to the cacophonousboom that I caused. Thank you Zachariah for reviving me."
Thor recasts Light on his hammer knowing some decent amount of time had gone by. "No need to be in the dark, in the jungle!"
Seeing Thor on his feet again, Tap walks over to the icy amphibian chunks, checking the area for anything of use. Lighting his hooded lantern when it started to get dark.

Greggor clearly is uneasy around the statue, and is eager to put some distance between it and the party.

The only thing you see within the area are chunks of Frogs, and a 10' tall statue overgrown with vines of a Chultan man wearing a crown. There is a maze etched into his chest. You also see the 5 daggers and 10 spears, all of the primitive quality that the Grung had.
Finding nothing of worth, Tap joins the rest of the group for the walk back, crossbow resting on his shoulder and lantern held level by his waist. Coming down from the combat high, his mind was already on going back to sleep.
Kaslo looks around to those still here " Crikey that could have been a lot worse! Everyone alright?"
He then turns his attention to the curious maze etched on the statue and then gets an idea. Casting Light on his shield, he props his shield up against his bag and positions it to illuminate the etching better. "Lets have a better look at ye"
History check: 18
Convinced that he can manage it, he rummages around in his bag and pulls out his book and writing supplies and begins to copy the maze onto the pages of his book.
Intelligence check: 12

"Well I was searching for some fire wood, I wasn't able to find anything. I suppose it rained yesterday, everything was too wet. I saw this statue here. When I got closer I noticed the maze, and i placed my hand on it. It hummed a little. But I love me some mazes so I started to trace from Start hoping to make it to Finish. I reached a dead end and Kabloom, this thunderous wave exploded out from the statue... And then all I remember waking up with Zachs hand on my chest."

At seeing the Kenku release a crossbow bolt at the Grungs Kaslo frowns and says, "Well I guess the time for talking is over!".
