Eithneis able to easily tear herself free from the vines.
(Druid 2 is not currently showing any baleful effects from her time in the poisoned wine, but she's only just barely got out of it and just grabbed a magic item she has been jealous of for a long time; give her a minute to celebrate this victory!)
Eithneis able to easily tear herself free from the vines.
...
Round 4:
The Voices in the savage stranger's head continue to incredibly increase her vigor and determination: 'Don't let this overgrown salad stop you, Eithne!' 'Show him, this sower of corruption!' 'Water it with her blood, this magical weed!'
And indeed the last of the savage stranger smoothly mills her greataxe, slicing copious sections of magical greens as she growls ferociously at the unarmed druid, staring at him with bloodthirsty azure eyes!
(OOC: Guys, considering how happy Druid 2 is to get its hands on that blatantly magical damn staff, it can probably give us a lot of trouble... and already so, with Lucian badly injured and Chara grappled away from anyone who can help her, Bran far from us and thus probably not able to give immediate help, I'd say things are looking bad. In my opinion, someone should go to the trouble of breaking that damned staff with a powerful blow - or break the druid who wields it, ok, but she, if not poisoned, is probably quite sturdier than the staff. I know, I should probably have broken the staff myself as I got it, but when I declared my action I thought it a magical item, yes... but not an incredibly evil item to boot! As it is, it is probably no use to us - we'd better break it so that no darn druid can use it against us again)

(OOC: Oops, it looks like I jumped the gun a bit... I thought Round 4 was already finished when I saw Lenn's post... can I change my action based on the whole "getting grabbed by a monster" thing?)

Chara is going to use her action to try to wriggle free of the evil plant monster. If she succeeds, she'll use her movement to get as far away from that thing as she can.

I have no idea why it has the 'potentially manipulated dice rolls' tag at the top of the original post... it doesn't even look like the number changed. Anyway, quoting here so that we can see the original number and it doesn't change to a nat 1 the next time someone posts.

It is just the usual bug I pointed out some time ago - you helped me trying to get attention by commenting to my post, by the way... but nobody of the staff seemed to care, sadly.
Shaken by the tremendous amount of pain wracking his body, Lucian doesn't stand a chance at dodging the constricting vines. He struggles helplessly as they wrap around him, and it is all he can do to keep his hold on consciousness much less the beast within. He can feel his bones cracking and re-knitting themselves, working to keep the crushing force from utterly destroying him. Yet if this keeps up...
Doing his best to stay awake in spite of the pain and the darkness closing in around him, he manages to take in the scene around him... Eithne dealing with her own druid and plant monster, Chara dodging similar tendrils, and the exploded barrel. From his position, he can't see what's going on down below, but he can smell the poisoned wine as it floods the lower floor. The smell of blood fills his nostrils, and suddenly the sounds around him seem louder. The beating of raven's wings--and Chara's wings as she struggles against the vines--sounds of fighting, his own heartbeat and quickened breathing, and the snapping and cracking of his bones. That familiar pain erupts in his chest, and tears stream from his eyes. He can't let the wolf out, not here. His friends would be trapped with him, and how could he keep it from going after them and not just the enemy? Yet, as he stares upwards at Chara fighting the vines, a spark of anger pushes past the veil of fear that is slowly covering him, it pierces the wall of calm he's forced upon himself to keep the wolf at bay. If he dies here, then he can't do anything to help anyone.
Thoughts race through his head, and he remembers what Lenn said to him by the fire after he'd revealed his secret. That he needs to learn to control the wolf. That focusing on his goals might help direct the beast. But was now the right time to risk that? Pain, both external and internal shoots through him drawing an agonized cry from his mouth.
"I can't die here," he thinks, his control slowly slipping as the darkness closes in. "If I let you out... don't hurt my friends. Just... kill the enemy!" He says internally, trying to sound commanding in spite of the fear he and the wolf both know is there. As the words slide through his mind, he reluctantly lets go of his control and lets out an agonized scream. His bones crack and rebuild themselves, and his skin stretches as his muscles contort and bulge. His eyes are opened wide, and he throws back his head in pain as his teeth sharpen to points and his face elongates into a snout. Distantly, he feels the wolf's presence take hold, dragging him downwards into his mental prison. Soon darkness closes in, and Lucian is gone.
Lucian's screams fade to a deep chortle, and then a joyous howl. The Wolf bares his teeth, clearly angry as he finds himself entangled in the vines of the plant creature. He lets out a low growl, eyes blazing like two green fires as he takes in the scene around him.
'Lucian is in danger!' realizes Eithne, who, although lost in the Voices-inspired murderous frenzy, never loses the lucidity to check the general situation of the fight out of the corner of her eye. She then sees him transform… 'And now we are too! But it's still for the best - regardless of how much awareness of himself he has left, he'll surely attack the closest enemies first -that is, true enemies. Chara, on the other hand, is in trouble too! But who can help her!? I wonder where Bran is ... I'm sure he could help her free even with words alone!'(OOC: not meant as tactical advice - it's only a thought of Eithen, it's mere role-playing)'But in the meantime, I better hurry! The sooner I get rid of this nuisance,' she is still staring at the unarmed druid with bloodthirsty azure eyes 'the sooner I can help others'.
So, without wasting any more time, the savage stranger mills her heavy blade to strike at the weaponless opponent - and since he is weaponless, she attacks with unbridled fury, with little concern about defence.
(OOC: Eithne attacks Druid 3, using Reckless Attack to get advantage - she does not use her movement, for now... she will, if the enemy goes down - but I think it's unlikely)
(OOC: Not much useful, but if the druid gets hit, he must do a CON saving throw to maintain concentration - DC 10 because of the not so high damage - if he fails the Entangle ends)
(Cole, are you moving to behind Vine Blight 2 in the hallway? Also, are you using Typhoon's Fiery Teleportation? If so, then you should stand at an angle to the Vine Blight so that Typhoon can teleport behind it (Typhoon has to be able to see where he is teleporting). Because I don't think they can use your Misty Step)
Round 5: (please don't forget to post what round you are acting in when you make an individual post)
22 - Floating above the fray, Chara wrests herself free from the entangling vines and escapes to the far side of the fermentation room.
22 - Cole swings with his staff at Vine Blight 2, but the Blight, watching Chara fly away, hardly seems to notice. (Von, I'm sorry to keep picking on you, but I'm certain you'd like to give Typhoon something else to do).
Risking attacks from the prone blights and the ones that he had almost cut down, Lenn chrages towards the druid and jumps on it, trying to defeat the major threat.
( Greatsword attack against the druid: 21 attack: 10 damage )
