Round 5: (please don't forget to post what round you are acting in when you make an individual post)
22 - Chara wrests herself free from the entangling vines and escapes to the far side of the fermentation room.
22 - Cole swings his staff at Vine Blight 2, but the blight, watching Chara fly away, hardly seems to notice. Typhoon aims a bolt of fire at the last group of twig blights, destroying two more of the creatures.
21 - Eithne swings her great blade at the druid in front of her. The weapon slices into the druid's side, just breaking through their newly hardened skin. With some effort, the druid is able to maintain concentration on his spell.
19 - Ravens 1 kill the last of the Twig Blights.
18 - Lenn, avoiding strikes by two needle blights, turns to Druid 2 and, greatsword in his hand, charges the dirty little woman. He strikes and the woman is gravely injured.
16 - Lucian, caught in the constricting vines of Vine Blight 3, undergoes an evidently painful transformation. His bones contort and his skin stretches. You might think it is the constriction of the vines, but fur breaks out all over his skin and his musculature grows and alters. Soon, Lucian is gone and he is replaced by a beast man, howling and laughing at its own freedom, in spite of being trapped in bonds.
16 - Nikolai points at a downed Needle Blight and a blast of cold light erupts from his finger, destroying the Blight.
16 - Ravens 2 flies down and attacks one of the blights in Needle Blights 6. With their beaks and talons, they tear the blight apart.
16 - Needle Blights 1 look upward and fire at Chara. She faces a barrage of needles, which strike her doing 8 hp of damage.
16 - Needle Blights 7 come rushing through the door to the south of the fermentation room. Unfortunately for them, they find little room to maneuver. But they are able to surround Nikolai and swing at him with their thorny arms, striking him for 7 hp of piercing damage.
16 - Druid 1 waves her hand and a ball of fire appears, hovering over their palm. They then toss the flames at Lenn, hitting him and doing 7 hp of fire damage.
16 - Vine Blight 1 walks into the hallway and sees both Cole and Bran. It sends its vines out toward Cole, wrapping them around him and squeezing for 13 hp of bludgeoning damage. Cole is now grappled.
(OOC: Guys, remember: everyone exceptLennhas a 2d4+2 potion of healing. What was the cost of drinking a potion? Free action? Bonus? Full action?)
Bran gets frustrated as he sees that the corridor to his right does not lead straight to the easternmost entry to the balcony as he initially thought, but to a stairwell that leads back to the ground floor. Now that he remembers Davian's sketch, he sees that he would have to enter the fourth room reach the balcony through the other side. He is too far to reach that entrance to the balcony quickly, too far to go back to the ground floor, too far from everyone...! To make things worse, he then hears Chara's struggle followed by a howl... "Oh gods, is that ... Lucian?". How can he help any of them when there are so many enemies blocking the door to even be able to reach them ...?
This line of thought comes to a halt all of a sudden when he sees Cole being attacked. The bard won't let the druid be receive so much damage and get caught in the creature's vines if he has the means to prevent it. So he screams at Vine Blight 1:
- Don't you dare, you ugly rotten thing! Go shove those vines of yours up your *** !
Bran knows he's now out of higher level spells, but if this means Cole will not be hurt and that he will have better chances to keep fighting, it will have been worth it. He can only hope the rest of his friends can overcome their own troubles. They have to make it out alive of this hellish winery...!
Bran's Round 5:
Reaction: Vine Blight 1 has made an attack roll, right? Then Bran will Silvery BarbsVine Blight 1 to (hopefully) make him fail so that Cole doesn't receive damage and doesn't get grappled. Anyhow, Cole now has advantage on the next attack roll, ability check, or saving throw he makes within 1 minute.
Action:Vicious Mockery on Vine Blight 1. WIS ST DC 14or receive 3 psychic damage and disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn.
Bonus action: I'm tempted to use my last Bardic Inspiration on Cole, but I think I will keep it for the moment, as he already has advantage... Let's hope the S.B. works to its full extent and that he doesn't need to use that advantage to get free of the vines.🤞🏻
(I use the following houserule: drinking your own potion is a bonus action; giving someone else a potion to drink is an action)
Round 5: (please don't forget to post what round you are acting in when you make an individual post)
22 - Charawrests herself free from the entangling vines and escapes to the far side of the fermentation room.
22 - Cole swings his staff at Vine Blight 2, but the blight, watching Charafly away, hardly seems to notice. Typhoon aims a bolt of fire at the last group of twig blights, destroying two more of the creatures.

16 - Needle Blights 7 come rushing through the door to the south of the fermentation room. Unfortunately for them, they find little room to maneuver. But they are able to surround Nikolaiand swing at him with their thorny arms, striking him for 7 hp of piercing damage.
16 - Druid 1 waves her hand and a ball of fire appears, hovering over their palm. They then toss the flames at Lenn, hitting him and doing 7 hp of fire damage.
16 - Vine Blight 1 walks into the hallway and sees both Cole and Bran. It sends its vines out toward Cole, attempting to grapple him. But, at that moment, Branwaves his hand and thin, silvery webs appear and seem to stay the creature's hand. After a moment, it shakes its head and attempts to grapple Cole, but to no avail. After the blight's failed attempt, Cole is suddenly filled with confidence when contemplating what to do next.
15 - Bran suggests an act so anatomically unlikely that the vine blight hurts its own brain trying to parse the bard's meaning.
15 - With a howl of fury, matching Lucian'sin temperment, if not volume, Druid 2 swings at Lennwith the twisted, black staff. But the tall paladin is able to nimbly avoid the blow.
13 - Druid 3 holding his side, brings his free hand forward, chanting words of force. Another deafening thunderclap of power bursts forth from the area of the man. (Eithne, I need you to make a CON ST).
12 - Ravens 3 strike out at one of the prone blights in Needle Blights 6. It disintegrates under the force of their assault.
12 - Needle Blights 2 finally beat down the patio doors, providing another opening that the exterior blights can use to invade the home.
9 - Needle Blights 3 fire their needles at Typhoon, doing 12 hp of piercing damage to the fire spirit.
9 - Needle Blights 4 wait to see what Needle Blights 5 can do with the door.
8 - Vine Blight 2 also attempts to grab Bran, but the creatures vines cannot quite find a grip.
4 - Needle Blights 5 continue to punch at the western door and you can see the door bowing inward against the bar holding it shut.
4 - Needle Blights 6, decimated by your party and attacks of the ravens, ineffectually fire needles at Lenn, but he pays them no heed.
4 - Vine Blight 3 attempts to continue to crush the young monk, Lucian, but with the monk's transformation, the vine blight is unable to apply any pressure.
Eithne takes 6 points of thunder damage, but is not pushed back
Round 5:
Eithne's ears ring with the sudden thunder, but the thick hair that covers them helps to mitigate the effect; so she balances her heavy blade for the next slash and growls menacingly with anger: "So you like big noises, small man? I'll help you with that..."
Lenn growls in pain when the fire hits him. The smell of the druids blood is too tempting and he, for once, indulge the hunger inside him. He grabs the druid by the wrist, pushing her towards him and embrace her. He sinks his face directly to the neck of the druid, extending his fangs, and bites her, drinking her blood and feeling how the fresh vitae runs through his own veins and heals the damage the fire has done.
( Fanged attack: 16. Will use the Bonus Inspiration if needed to hit for a total of 19 to hit. Damage: 5. He heals that amount of the 6 damage taken. )
'For the first time in history, it's gonna start raining Blights!' Eithne thinks, seeking consolation in irony 'They're coming from everywhere… They're going to swarm us! Whoever is still below must go up; only a few blights will be able to occupy the stairs at a time... Maybe even a single one only...' plus, she remembers the flask of oil in her backpack 'And perhaps we could also set fire to the stairs, making them unusable, should the Blights' assault prove unstoppable. We'd have the problem of extinguishing them after the battle... but in the meantime we'd still be alive. But first, the druid with the magic staff has to die, or she'll give us too much trouble. And the staff must be taken out of the picture, or another druid will find a way to take it and use it - and certainly not for good purposes. But I certainly don't have the time to explain all this in detail!'
"Kill the druid, take or break her staff and take position up the stairs, just to the sides of them, to defend yourselves!" the savage stranger shouts, more abruptly than she would like "Or they'll surround us and it will be over!"
Meanwhile, the last of the dusk elf maidens continues to feed on the wrath of the Voices in her head: 'Well done Eithne! Take control! Don't leave the initiative to your enemies!' 'Stall them, Eithne!' 'Burn them, Eithne!' 'Exterminate them all, Eithne!' 'Starting with this corrupter of nature! Gut him and throw his still-warm innards on his friends' heads!'
Indeed, even as she shouts to her companions, the heavy greataxe continues to swing wildly as Miladeath unleashes a wild storm of blows against the nearby druid.
(OOC: Eithne, like the previous round, focuses only on attacking Druid 3 - she takes advantage of the Reckless Attack feature, since she urgently needs to eliminate him and furthermore he is unarmed - so he will be hard-pressed to find a means to attack her)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Chara, now badly bruised and realizing that she's probably going to go down the next time someone sneezes at her... is going to go ahead and fly over to space right behind Eithne and try to take some cover behind the vat. She'll use her action to try to deal with Druid 3 for now (since Chara has somehow managed to hold concentration on her Hex in spite of being strangled and shot full of thorns).
Eldritch Blast: Attack: 15 Damage: 14 plus 2 necrotic damage from Hex on a hit
If we're able to use potions as a bonus action, Chara will drink her potion now. If not, she's just going to focus on taking cover behind the vat and hoping that Lucian is too busy murdering the Vine Blight to eat her.

The Wolf growls at the vine blight restraining him, baring his teeth as he attempts to break free.

Regardless as to whether or not he manages to escape the vines, the Wolf bites the vines either to tear them away from himself or simply to harm the creature.

Round 6: (please don't forget to post what round you are acting in when you make an individual post)
22 - Charatakes a shot at Druid 3 with a magical blast, but the purple beam goes wide. She does manage to drink a potion of healing, though.
22 - Cole casts Shillelagh on his staff, bringing it down on the head of Vine Blight 1. Typhoon attempts to fly away from the druid, in order to help other party members. But Druid 2 is able to get in a shot with the twisted black staff and Typhoon disappears in a cloud of smoke that smells like burning garbage.
21 - Eithne unleashes a flurry of blows at Druid 3, but he is able to withstand them all, whether through dodging or the toughness of his bark-like skin. He smiles at the overconfident barbarian.
19 - Ravens 1 attacks a Needle Blight in Needle Blights 6. The wooden creature is destroyed.
18 - Lenn, perhaps inspired by Lucian's loss of control, successfully grabs Druid 2 and tears into the tissue of her neck, draining blood from the wound. The lifeblood of the Druid sates the Hunger that has been growing within Lennever since they left Vallaki. The druid wrenches herself away, holding her hand to the wound on her neck, but there is so much more blood to be had...(please make a DC 8 WIS ST)
16 - Lucian, or "The Wolf", tears himself free from the vines of Vine Blight 3 and charges the creature. But, still a little wobbly from it's transformation, it fails to land a blow on the plant monster.

Round 6
Nikolai will stare down one of the nearby twigs (can't see map RN, just pick a nearby one), DC 15 INT save else 2psychicdamage and minus 1d4 to next Save.
