Martin nods to auntie Ethel's explanation and offers some honest praise,
"I think you're underselling yourself, but I'm also glad you are going back to represent us. Also if someone tries something I know you keep a steady head."
To Dave-a's exclamation of Marrin being a world famous bard Martin just gives an amused snort,
"I'd wager no one has heard of Marrin the Bard, even in the last town I just played. It's aspirational at this point, I have only been a solo act for a year."
Martin straighten and puffs his chest out before saying, with a cracking voice,
Ethel reflects on Bigge's words, refusing to take his seat. "In that case, once again we are lucky to have you with us. I would have probably turned away exactly the kind of crew we need."
She smiles at Bigge's unease. "Oh, I'm sure they'll be back. Probably."

Avaria nods to Ethel as she heads out to go see Bigge, "Not a bad idea to keep an eye on that situation since we'll be heading out with them soon I suspect." She takes Jan's offered arm, amused and doesn't add anything but chuckles.
Lifting her glass to her friends, she toasts, "To new beginnings once we solve this doppelganger mystery."
((Whaaaat? No! DND beyond stole my very counter productive con save crit and replaced it with a near crit! It was 22 and 6 before, if it matters whatsoever. Though, I am curious to see what all the d6 options are...))
Dave-A downs his-her drinks and while she enjoys the taste, she doesn't notice any effects from the alcohol. To be honest, she's not sure her thoughts are muddled enough to make anyone feel dizzy.
Martin - Marrin down their drinks and while they feel pleasantly light headed and their thoughts are a little jumpy and they feel a general warmth for their companions, they're none the worse for wear. Their thoughts are likely swirling enough to make an eavesdropper dizzy.
Karen - Jan drinks her three drinks, perhaps a touch too quickly and has crossed through tipsy, and is firmly in the happy stages of drinking, just shy of being straight drunk (for the next two hours Jan has disadvantage on perception checks, concentration checks and all saving throws but also gets +5 temporary hit points)
A bit surprised the Demon Delight hasn't hit her like she thought it was and is feeling pretty normal, she figures, why not.. for the good of the cause!
The bartender smiles and puts on a bit of show for the fourth round, tossing a sparkling shiny bottle in the air, causing the liquid inside to swirl in a rainbow of colours but when he pours it out into glasses, it appears to be icy clear, like arctic water.
Con save and d6 from Karen-Jan and Dave-A please.

Jan extends an arm for Dave-a to take. "We'd rather Marty have a few with us than be running around with Rick and Emmett."

"Hey, Ricky and Mitt are men grown too!"
Martin will glare at mamma Jan and try not to cough on his very sweet drink.
Karen-Jan's huff and sniff tells everyone exactly what she thinks of the bad influences that Marty has been running around with.

((Apparently she likes this Demon Delight! Lol!))
Martin starts coughing loudly on his drink when Dave-a says doppelganger loudly.
He raises his rapidly joining eyebrows and opens his eyes wide as he glances around at the other guests.
Con save: 5
Lucky 6: 6
