Star's claws grip the gaps in the stonework as he climbs back out of the well. "Nothing," he says with a sigh. "Why would it even have been down there? Perhaps we shall never know."At Emma's words he comments to Vice and Kal "Ah, it seems our nagual has found a way. I suggest we follow the bear." He follows his own advice and tails Emma back down the corridor.
Now that everyone are together again, Emma looks at the bear, Juniper. Could they understand her? They clearly couldn't speak. "Everyone are here. Now what?"
As the group follows the tunnel, the sound of bugs crunching under each step can be heard. However, the insects seem to only move in between the syllables of the eerie chanting.
(Emma, make a Wisdom(Perception) check.(

(Juniper had been waiting for everyone, including Vice. Assuming he is now with the party.)
The brown bear had lowered its upper body back down, part way into the bug-filled corridor. When Emma speaks to her, the bear’s head pulls back to ensure everyone is present. It becomes apparent to the others that the bear has taken advantage of the wait to snack. She licks her lips, not at all daintily, her tongue collecting a dozen insects crawling about her mouth. She rumbles in satisfaction and carefully leads the way down the corridor.
As she leads the way down the corridor, Emma spots a five-foot-long and ten-foot-wide pit hidden underneath several rotted wooden planks. A layer of dust and bugs conceals the wooden planks, but Emma spotted it.

“The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules.” ― Gary Gygax
(Emma wouldn't have lead the way, unless you mean the corridor that lead back to Juniper, which we've walked several times already. So ah... let's say she was walking behind Juniper, I guess? She could probably still see it that way.)
Emma can't help but feel disgust when she sees the bear eating the bugs. No, no. These creatures were not meant to be eaten by Human beings, even for one like Emma who was mostly open to trying new dishes. There was just no chance these things could taste good, no matter how talented the cook. But then again, perhaps it was a bear after all, and not Juniper, who stood in front of her?
When Emma spots the pit just at the edge of the candle's light, she immediately, without thinking, grabs onto Junibear's fur with her free hand and calls in alarm: "Halt!" She then immediately retreats her hand. Who knows how the bear might respond to having its fur grabbed? "Look, over there, see those wooden planks? Underneath... Be careful not to fall down."
Can the pit be crossed from the side, or must it be jumped over? Are the planks strong enough to support the weight of a Human (or a bear)?
The brown bear feels Emma’s hand just as she, the bear, places one paw squarely on a plank, which snaps under her weight. The pieces fall away into darkness as the bear’s forequarter drops over the precipice.
But powerful hind legs tauten as long, sharp claws backpedal against the stone floor, finding purchase and keeping the rest of her from falling in. With a moaning roar—her ribs are now bruised from smashing against the near edge of the pit —the bear pulls back. She turns to Emma and soft, round eyes find the guild woman’s. She rubs her head against her arm, crooning softly for a moment, in a gesture of thanks.
Then, muscles rippling, the brown-furred quarter-ton creature coils and then springs powerfully to the far side of the pit. (OOC: Standing long jump distance = ½ STR feet = 9.5 feet)
Emma looks down into the pit, wondering what would happen if she fell. But what else could she do? If there's an exit, it would have to be beyond this. Besides, it wasn't such a long jump. She could easily make it.
Mustering courage, Emma takes a step back, then leaps after Junibear. Perhaps, it might even be surprising that she can leap this distance so effortlessly, to the others. (8' long jump when standing, should be enough.)
"I'm going to need some space if I have to try to jump over that myself," Kal says, eyeing the pit warily. "And maybe wouldn't hurt to have a rope tied onto me that you guys could hang onto over there, so if I don't quite make it, you can keep me from falling down onto those spikes."
(Only 8 strength, so I need 10 feet movement in a straight line to jump 8 feet. Only 4 feet from standing. And -1 athletics if I also have to make an athletics check)
Star places a hand on Kal before he attempts any jumping. "Wait, Kal. I have a thought of something that may help. How strong are you?"
He leads Kal and Vice back to the tombs of Gustav and Elisabeth. "They are heavy, but one of these slabs should bridge the gap, yes? Will you help me move one?"
"Not very," Kal responds, but follows Star back towards the tombs. At Star's suggestion, he immediately moves towards the slabs to try to help move one to bridge the gap.
